There's no foam cleanser quite like this one for removing excess sebum. Most products struggle to effectively remove facial oils and dissolve sebum, which is why I specifically opt for products containing salicylic acid. Among salicylic acid (BHA) products, this one gives me the highest satisfaction. Unlike other foam cleansers that leave my skin feeling tight after use, this product leaves my skin feeling soft and supple, perhaps due to its smooth, gliding texture. The presence of salicylic acid makes it a bit intense for daily use. Even though I have oily skin that produces excess sebum, using it every day can be a bit harsh. I typically use a regular cleanser for everyday use and incorporate this one every 2-3 days. I've been using various versions of this product for 5 years. I haven't come across a salicylic acid foam cleanser that compares to this one. I'm truly satisfied! - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedApr 27, 2022
The scent isn't irritating, and it doesn't leave my skin feeling tight after cleansing. The pump works well, and it's good value for money. The major drawback is that it doesn't lather much. Also, it doesn't give that squeaky-clean feeling, so I end up rinsing multiple times. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinRecommendedApr 3, 2021
It feels wonderfully moisturizing on days when my skin is dry. The cleansing effectiveness is also pretty good. If you're someone who enjoys that squeaky-clean feeling, you might not like this at all. It has a rather slippery texture. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedOct 26, 2020
I've been using this product since high school, all the way up to age 24. After using it, there's no deep dryness and it helps maintain clear skin. Whether I had blemishes or now, this is always my go-to! It seems gentle and non-irritating. Being a deep cleanser, it feels like it removes almost all makeup even with just one wash. While there aren't any particular downsides, it may not suit everyone, so please be sure to check the ingredients before purchasing. I create a lot of lather using a foam net, then gently massage it in circular motions with my ring finger. It's less irritating and works well for me. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMay 24, 2020
I mainly used this product when I had a lot of blemishes. Now, all my blemishes have disappeared. It comes in a pump bottle, which makes it convenient to use. It doesn't have a pleasant scent, and it doesn't lather well. For best results, you should use it after a first cleanse. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedMay 12, 2020
I've been using this product for almost a decade. The best part is that it doesn't leave your skin feeling squeaky clean after washing, but rather smooth and silky. I really dislike cleansing foams that strip your skin and damage the skin barrier, which seems to be the case with most products on the market. This one, however, keeps my skin hydrated, which I love. There's nothing bad to say. I just hope it never gets discontinued... It's suitable for removing light makeup on its own, but for heavier makeup, it doesn't cleanse thoroughly. Double cleansing is a must in that case! - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAcne SkinFeb 26, 2020
It's great that I can find this product easily and affordably no matter where I live abroad. It's even better when they have half-price sales - that's when I really stock up! While it seems gentle, it doesn't lather up very well. You can get some foam if you gently rub it between your palms, but sometimes even that doesn't work. - do*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedFeb 23, 2020
Great price! Since cleansers are daily-use products, it's hard to justify using expensive ones. I was looking for an affordable option that suits my skin type. The best part? You can snag this for under $7 at the lowest online price - that's a major win! The volume is just right too. I've been using it for about 3 months now. Despite the low price, I thought it would run out quickly, but the 200ml bottle lasts quite a while. A little goes a long way in creating a good lather. Definitely high marks for value for money. It's gentle enough for blemish-prone skin! With budget-friendly products, there's always a worry about skin irritation or worsening blemishes, especially for those of us with sensitive skin. Happily, I used up the entire bottle without any issues - it's wonderfully gentle! Great for deep pore cleansing. I have combination dehydrated skin with a tendency for blackheads. While this product claims to deep cleanse pores, I wouldn't say the results are dramatically life-changing. However, with thorough cleansing, it effectively removes most makeup and excess oil! Gel type...or is it? It looks like a gel, even when pumped out. But once you start working it, it lathers up just like a regular foam cleanser. If you're a gel cleanser fan like me, you might be disappointed - I've noticed quite a few people make this mistake when purchasing. Not great for dead skin cells... As someone who deals with flaky skin year-round, this product didn't do much for managing dead skin cells. I always had to use a separate exfoliating product alongside it. The promotional text mentions exfoliation benefits, but sadly, it fell short in this area. Pro tip: Use it with cotton pads as a makeshift cleansing wipe! I'm often out for work and need to decant my skincare products. Foam cleansers can be tricky to carry around, but this gel-like texture makes it easy to soak into cotton pads and pack in a small plastic bag. Perfect for on-the-go cleansing! - dl***********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJan 22, 2020
First off, my skin type is so sensitive that even products others rave about don't always work for me. I stumbled upon this product while searching for a first-step cleanser when I started wearing makeup. Initially, I was skeptical about its makeup-removing power due to the lack of foam. However, once I figured out the right technique, it not only removed makeup effectively but also left my skin smooth. I think it's a solid, reliable choice for most people! There's not really anything to complain about! I'm extremely sensitive to fragrances, but this one isn't overpowering, so I'm using it comfortably. However, if you prefer cleansers that leave your skin feeling squeaky clean, I wouldn't recommend this one. It leaves a slightly slippery finish.. For best results, use it on a dry face with just wet hands. Pump out a generous amount of the gel, but don't try to work it into a lather. Instead, gently massage it onto your skin. This method effectively removes makeup and leaves your skin feeling silky smooth! - bl*********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedDec 1, 2019
First off, I have unmanageable skin that becomes combination dehydrated in summer and extremely dry in winter. Because of this, it worked really well for me during the dry period from late autumn to early spring. As I mentioned above, when my skin got really oily in the summer, I unfortunately experienced blemishes. So I always use this product only during seasonal changes and winter, switching to a different product in summer. For those who might say, 'I'll use this in summer too' or 'I'll stick with just one product all year round', let me share my method. I use a facial cleansing cloth I bought from Daiso's beauty section years ago. It's similar to an exfoliating towel in shape, but big enough to comfortably fit three fingers. It came in a pack of two light blue towel-like cloths for just a dollar back then. When I use this to lather up and cleanse, surprisingly, I don't get blemishes even in summer. I thought my skin type might have changed, so I tried lathering with just my hands, but that led to breakouts. Hope this helps!
