ConsFor two weeks, you'll experience dead skin cells coming up and your skin going through a purging phase. You just need to endure this

ConsI endured the sour smell and applied it, but my skin felt as if it had been attacked with hydrochloric acid - it was incredibly painful and turned bright red, so I washed it off immediately. I applied three layers of cold aloe vera, but it's still stinging and itchy. The photo shows how it looks after applying aloe, when it's calmed down a bit... I used to be able to apply tea tree oil on my acne without any stinging, but after using this, my skin became super sensitive and now it hurts. Don't apply this product. I threw away all the samples.

ConsMy skin completely flipped out. I'm so frustrated! Blemishes popped up everywhere, making my skin look grotesquely bumpy. They appeared rapidly, one after another. Though it was said to be fine to apply before sunscreen, it pilled up terribly like dead skin, making it impossible to salvage my makeup. It will probably take a long time for my damaged skin to recover. I ignored the tingling sensation, thinking it was normal, but it turned out to be a sign that my skin was deteriorating. I used to always receive compliments on my skin, but now everyone's asking what happened to it. I've attached photos showing the results after use.

After discovering the wonders of BHA for exfoliation, I decided to try AHA too. When I applied a small amount to my face in the evening, it seemed to exfoliate well, making my skin look radiant and glowy. It might even have a slight brightening effect?
ConsHowever, the morning after using it, my skin felt irritated. Two or three large folliculitis bumps appeared and didn't subside for days. Some people online call this a 'purging' phase, but even using it once every two weeks caused my skin to flare up. Personally, I find it more irritating than BHA.
TipIf you have sensitive skin and folliculitis like me, exfoliation can make things worse. This product is best suited for those with resilient skin.

ConsI wish I had seen these reviews earlier.... It seems like I developed some peeling, so I purchased a chemical exfoliator instead of a physical one. It was an AHA product that I had wanted to try for a long time. It said to apply it daily, and that's what the consultant advised, so I used it morning and evening for 2 weeks, and it stung, but I thought it was removing the peeling. After that, the skin that only used to get the occasional pimple became completely covered in closed comedones and inflammatory acne. It was the first time my skin had completely flipped, and I couldn't find the cause, so I've been going to a dermatologist for 2 months now for calming care. Tens of thousands of won have been spent, and I don't know how much more time and money it will take. I've developed social anxiety and have wasted time going to the hospital. But then I randomly searched for this product on the Hwahae app and saw reviews from people with the exact same symptoms, and that's when I realized this product was the cause.

After cleansing, I wipe everything off with this and then apply the cream before going to bed.
ConsThe price is a bit high, and when my skin is in poor condition, this makes it worse.

As someone with dry and combination skin, I've always had to deal with milia around my nose and cheeks, but after using the AHA gel, they're gone. I've tried other brands' AHA products, but the Pola Choice AHA gel has been the best.
ConsIf you use it too greedily and too often, it can irritate your skin. It should only be used in the evenings. It stings a bit. But don't give up after using it just once or twice - use the right amount consistently, and you'll see the benefits!

I definitely feel that my skin has become smoother and my pores have been refined. After not using it for a while, I now apply it once every 2-3 days, or once a week, or whenever I feel like my skin needs it. One drop is enough to cover my entire face, which is great. Once I buy a bottle, it lasts me about 6 months to a year. I think of it as a 30,000 won investment per year and use it accordingly.
ConsInstead of the AHA gel, I once bought salicylic acid from the pharmacy and used it for about a week. But it didn't seem to agree with my skin, and the breakouts I had been able to control suddenly flared up, causing me a lot of stress. Since AHA is also an acid, I stopped using it after that as well, as it was too irritating for my skin. I think you should monitor your skin condition and adjust the amount and frequency of use accordingly.
TipI think it's sufficient to use it only at night. Be sure to apply sunscreen diligently during the day!

I want to exclude the star, but without the star, the review cannot be registered.
ConsWorst! I bought it because it was said to be good for exfoliating, but after using it, I broke out all over my face. I didn't even have acne during puberty, but now... At first, I didn't know it was because of this product, so I took a break for a few months, thinking it would get better if I stopped using it. But when I started using it again, my face was ruined again. After using this, my skin barrier was damaged, and even when I did a clay mask, it didn't hurt at all - my skin had become extremely sensitive to irritation! Just washing my face with soap stings, oil cleansing hurts, and even just wiping my face with a cotton pad soaked in toner is unbearable. This product has ruined my skin! + Even though I'm still in my 30s, my skin barrier is thin and sensitive, so the creams from Olive Young are too drying for me. I use a cleansing milk instead of a foaming cleanser because washing with a foam cleanser dries out my skin. I tried using a vitamin C serum, but it made my face red, broke me out, and was too irritating, so I stopped. Now I'm using a prescription MD cream from a dermatologist, but the Estrala Atobarrier MD cream I've used for years is also too drying. I switched to the new Estrala Itching MD cream, but the nearby hospitals don't carry it, and the tester I tried was just oily without good lasting hydration. No matter how many different basic skincare products I use, the dryness doesn't improve, and even hyaluronic acid ampoules just make it drier. And the products that did work for me have all been discontinued. The Cha&Park green propolis ampoule helped with the stinging and tightness, but that's been discontinued too. I even have both internal and external dryness in the summer.
TipDon't ever do exfoliation if you have thin and dry skin! The appearance of white flaky skin means it's dry. You need to replenish moisture and oil. Find a product suitable for your skin and apply it. Don't suffer like me by damaging your skin barrier from over-exfoliating. I used to hear compliments about my good skin, but in my mid-20s, I used the Paula's Choice AHA gel for exfoliation and ended up with skin troubles, pus, and peeling - it was a disaster.

ConsMy skin is a bit sensitive, but I tried the Pola Choice products, including the cleanser and toner. In the end, my whole face broke out, and I had to return everything. It was a real nightmare... But those who found the right match say it's amazing.
