When I apply just this, it seems to reduce small blemishes and gives my skin a smooth, radiant glow.
ConsThe price is quite high. There's a significant difference compared to other more affordable AHA gels, so I'll need to compare and decide whether to repurchase or not.

ConsWhile it's nicely hydrating, it felt more irritating than BHA products.
TipI've been applying it to my back after showering. I have an AHA body cream at home, but its shea butter seemed to clog my back pores, so I wasn't a fan. I tried this AHA gel instead of my usual one, and it works great!

However, after that, the effects on blemishes become visibly apparent. I must warn you, the initial experience can be surprising - I'll elaborate on that in the 'cons' section. It's been excellent at removing dead skin cells, and my acne has significantly calmed down lately. - Texture & Scent The texture is rich yet has a slight fluidity. It has a gel-like consistency. There's a faint herbal scent, which might take some getting used to at first. I'm not particularly sensitive to fragrances, so it didn't bother me, but those with super sensitive skin might find it noticeable! Overall, this product works hard and delivers fantastic results.
ConsWhen you first apply it, it might cause a tingling sensation, especially if you have acne-prone skin. Don't mistake this for the product not suiting you. Instead, think of it as the product preparing to combat the inflammation caused by acne. Unlike other cosmetics that might not agree with your skin, this sensation is more like your blemishes putting up their last fight before disappearing!
TipApply this after using toner to balance your skin. For even faster results, I've found using it in conjunction with Paula's Choice Niacinamide 20% Treatment (the purple bottle) to be particularly effective.

I'm so pleased!
ConsThere's a slight tingling sensation and a bit of a tangy smell, but it's not a problem.

BHA can actually make your skin drier, causing it to produce even more sebum. This product is a gel type with 8% concentration, so frequent use can weaken the skin. I use it about once every three days. After cleansing and before applying toner, I apply it to a cotton pad and gently wipe the areas with blemishes. Once it absorbs, it leaves the skin feeling soft without any oiliness, which is great. It helps calm down acne.
ConsThere's not really anything bad to say. The packaging is fine too. If there's one thing to nitpick, it might be that the price is a bit on the high side.

ConsUsing it daily can be quite irritating. I'd recommend applying it just twice a week. Also, one downside is that the scent is a bit off-putting.

With continued use, I noticed a significant reduction in small bumps on my skin.
ConsIt stings when applied after shaving. The price is quite high, which is a bit of a burden.

That's why I keep repurchasing it after taking short breaks between uses. It's excellent for refining skin texture and reducing those pesky little blemishes. However, I'm a bit cautious about using it daily due to potential damage to the skin barrier. So, once the blemishes subside, I use it sparingly, about 1-2 times a week.
ConsThere's not really anything to complain about. If I had to pick one thing, it would be the scent... it has a strange sour smell.
TipWhen I first start using it, I apply it all over my face because it's time for a dead skin cell party! After consistent use for a few days, once the skin cells are somewhat under control, I only apply it to my T-zone and other areas where dead skin cells and pores are more prominent, as well as my chin. I avoid applying it to my cheeks daily as it can be too irritating.

I really love how gentle it is on my skin.
ConsIf I had to point out one downside, it would be the price. I usually just buy in bulk when I purchase it to make it more cost-effective.

After using this, all my acne disappeared. It wiped out every single pimple, from tiny bumps to inflamed ones!
ConsThere's nothing really bad! It stings a bit, but they say a slight tingling is better than feeling nothing at all.
