I've been using a few bottles since high school, and over time, my acne has only occasionally appeared. Due to the product's highly irritating ingredients, I've been looking for other products and haven't used it for a while. The product packaging has changed a lot.^ The antibacterial properties are excellent. When you squeeze acne, bacteria can cause it to become infected again. Using tea tree oil can reduce the chances of acne recurrence, even if it's not 100% effective.^ Try to avoid touching your face, especially the acne, as much as possible. Even if it's a hassle, use a cotton swab to squeeze the acne and apply tea tree oil with a cotton swab. The same goes for spot ointments. • It's very irritating. I later learned that you're not supposed to apply it directly to the acne, but around it to prevent further contamination. I didn't know that and applied it directly to the squeezed acne area, which was hell...^ The antibacterial properties are excellent, but the ingredients can be irritating, so test it out and see how it works for you!^ • Scent It has a strong laboratory chemical and alcohol-like tea tree scent. I was initially repulsed by the scent. 1. Do a patch test 2. Apply using a cotton swab 3. If you've squeezed the acne, apply around the area When I have acne or feel like I'm getting it, I try not to touch it as much as possible, apply spot ointment frequently, and use spot patches if I accidentally touch it. Even without squeezing, the acne will slowly calm down and disappear on its own.^ ★ I looked it up, and it seems tea tree oil should not be used by pregnant or breastfeeding women. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinMar 25, 2017
I used to use tea tree products a lot when I was a student (although I can't remember the exact name of the product I bought from the pharmacy), so when they were on sale at the duty-free shop, I bought two for my husband. It seems to be good for managing minor acne, rather than severe acne. After looking at the ingredient list here, I wonder why I was so obsessed with the fragrance? The scent is too strong and a bit irritating. It seems like they were marketing it as being very eco-friendly... It seems a bit irritating, so you should only use a very small amount! It would be good to do a test beforehand. Don't use it on wounded acne - it could cause further irritation! - Hwahae UserOily SkinJan 15, 2017
The glass bottle is sturdy and durable, which is a great feature for storage containers. First, I didn't see the expected acne-clearing effects. The price is too steep - it's only 10ml and yet so expensive. The tea tree oil has a distinct scent, but it's almost like a musty basement smell. The smell is so strong that it stings my nose when I apply it to my face. It's inconvenient that I need to use a cotton swab to apply it, and even then, the amount that comes out is hard to control. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJan 12, 2017
Among the trouble spot treatments I've used so far, this has been the most effective. I just apply it to the troubled areas before bed, and when I wake up, the issues have disappeared. The price is not exactly cheap. It has a strong scent, and since it's a concentrated formula, be sure to do a patch test first. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinDec 20, 2016
I've been using it consistently when I have acne breakouts^^ The effects are dramatic, and it doesn't make my skin look worse, but it feels incomplete and disappointing not to use it!ㅎㅎㅎㅎ I think it's because of this product that my acne has subsided more quickly. The strong scent is probably the downside of the tea tree oil? If you apply too much at once, it can sting, so those with sensitive skin should consider that~ - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinNov 1, 2016
I felt like my acne was improving a little bit, and even though I have sensitive skin, it was usable. I plan to repurchase it once I finish this one. Everything was good, but the smell was a bit strong for me as I'm sensitive to scents. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinSep 19, 2016
I do see some effects every once in a while, but it's very rare. I do use it, but these days, I don't reach for it as often. The scent is a bit strong, and when my skin is not in the best condition, it can feel a bit irritating. There's no immediate effect, and even with consistent use, it's just kind of a maintenance thing for me. I don't think it really suits me. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSep 18, 2016
When a blemish starts to appear, just dab it with a cotton swab and, while the immediate effect may not be noticeable, after 3-4 consecutive uses, the blemish will disappear. It also works quite well when a new pimple starts to form. Every time I open the lid, I get a bit irritated. On the days when I just want to quickly apply it and go to sleep, wrestling with the lid really makes me lose my temper. The scent is.. way too strong, and it's quite unpleasant until I fall asleep. After I applied it, I walked past my husband and he asked if I put on something weird, saying he could smell a strange odor. The store clerk told me that when the blemishes are quite severe, it's good to mix a drop or two into a moisturizer and apply it all over. But I felt like the scent would be even stronger that way, so I just dotted it on directly. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAug 26, 2016
The red glow calming was very helpful It can be used regardless of the season It also seems to be effective in fading freckles (they actually lightened) The scent is strong It's a hassle to dab it on with a cotton swab I've spilled it quite a few times while dabbing, so it's a shame 😢 You can use the 1,000 won 30ml rolling bottle from Daiso - just dispense a small amount each time~ But be mindful of the amount and roll it in while absorbing it - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinAug 13, 2016
When I bought this and used it 2+1, I bought 3 and used up one bottle, and now I'm on the 2nd bottle. At first, I applied it and let it sit, and the acne that came out changed from red to brown?? and calmed down a lot. It also has a cooling sensation, and since it's an oil, it's moisturizing and the dispenser is a bit unique. I didn't have any concerns about leakage. The smell was a bit strong, like tea tree or mint??, which made me feel a bit averse to it. At first, it was fine, but as I used it, the effect decreased.. The bottle opening didn't leak, which was good, but it seemed to not come out well, which was inconvenient..... As I have an oily skin type, I was worried about the oil, and it did make me look a bit shiny, which I didn't like. They say that if you apply this and go out in the sun, your skin will get darker. You can also mix a little bit into your makeup base and apply it. It's good to add 2 drops when doing laundry. If you have a pet, you can also mix it into the shampoo when bathing your pet. It's better to apply it with a cotton swab rather than your hands. There are more good tips, but I recommend searching on Naver. ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ
