It absorbs quickly without feeling sticky or slippery. When blemishes start to appear, applying it just once can quickly calm them down. Even for larger blemishes, applying it 3-4 times shows great effectiveness in reducing them. The price is a bit high for the amount you get, and it's disappointing that it contains four ingredients that aren't ideal. Also, it's inconvenient that the product doesn't come out easily - either the hole is too small or the angle isn't right. When you have severe blemishes all over your face, mixing a few drops with your toner or a light essence and applying it works wonders. It quickly soothes itchiness and feels great. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinRecommendedNov 13, 2020
When applied, you can clearly see blemishes calming down It's a bit disappointing that the amount is somewhat small. I didn't know how to open the lid at first, haha - pi*******Combination SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedAug 25, 2020
I've tried tea tree oils from various brands to calm my severe acne, but The Body Shop's version felt gentler and less irritating than others. The price is a bit higher compared to other oils. - dp*******Combination SkinAcne SkinAug 2, 2020
I dab it on blemishes with a cotton swab. It has a pleasant scent and feels soothing. People say it's effective for calming blemishes, but honestly, I don't see much difference whether I use it or not. I'm on my second bottle, but I think it might just be a placebo effect... - Hwahae UserDry SkinApr 27, 2020
Skin type: Very dry, with blemishes appearing on the chin during menstrual cycle Every month, 3-4 pimples emerge. They're usually large, red, and inflamed rather than small whiteheads. I bought this product specifically for these more prominent blemishes. It was a top-selling item at the duty-free shop, which influenced my purchase. Compared to other tea tree oils, this one has a more subtle scent. It's not as sharp or pungent, but rather reminds me of the gentle aroma you'd find in a skincare salon. It's pleasant for light application (though the effects are also mild). I tried various application methods - using a cotton swab, mixing it with cream, etc. - but didn't see significant results on my blemishes. It wasn't effective in preventing early-stage pimples, so I stopped using it regularly. While results may vary, I found the tea tree oil from Essen* more effective. I'd recommend this for its subtle tea tree scent and for mild blemishes, but wouldn't suggest it for those seeking quick, powerful results. - ta*******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedApr 1, 2020
This long-standing tea tree oil is truly reliable, inspiring confidence. It's great for massaging the back of your neck when you're dealing with acne or feeling stressed. You get that refreshing sensation on your scalp, and it's easy to take advantage of aromatherapy benefits. While the drop-by-drop dispensing might be inconvenient for some, it's actually a good thing as it shows how potent the product is. I'm satisfied with its use. When I first used it without knowing anything, I applied a small amount on a cotton pad like a patch on my blemishes and slept with it on. My skin turned red as if I had a burn! I ended up visiting the dermatologist for 3 days. Be careful not to make the same mistake I did. Don't get greedy with the amount, just use a cotton swab to apply it. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedFeb 28, 2020
My skin type is sensitive and prone to blemishes, with an extremely oily complexion and scalp. I bought this product a while ago to spot-treat blemishes but never opened it. Feeling hesitant about applying it directly to my skin, I decided to dilute it for cleansing and shampooing instead. Here's my experience: For facial cleansing, I mixed 2-3 drops with a mild acidic foam cleanser: 1. My face used to itch frequently, but after cleansing this way, the itching noticeably decreased. This meant less touching my face, which seemed to reduce breakouts too! 2. It also cut down on oiliness, leaving my skin feeling fresh and invigorated after cleansing! For reference, I've tried tea tree cleansing foam before, but it left my skin too dry. Although it's a bit more work to dilute the tea tree oil, it suited my skin much better. For shampooing, I added 2-3 drops to my regular shampoo: 1. It leaves my scalp feeling cool and refreshed! I often got blemishes along my hairline, and while it's not a miracle cure, I've seen some improvement. I plan to continue using this method. Since it's an oil that's used in small amounts, it dispenses one drop at a time, which can be a bit frustrating to use. To be fair, this is common with other oil products too. As I mentioned above, if you have blemish-prone or oily skin, try mixing a few drops of this oil into your cleanser or shampoo. It's more about its antibacterial properties than soothing effects, with the added bonus of a refreshing feeling! I've also started mixing about 10 drops of the oil with clean filtered water in a spray bottle to mist my bedding. I worry about my facial skin coming into contact with my bedding, so this helps. I usually do this in the morning while airing out my room. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedFeb 26, 2020
As someone with sensitive and super sensitive skin, I didn't experience any side effects when using this! It's incredibly effective for removing blemishes, and it works even better on teenage acne. I also found the packaging very user-friendly! If you're struggling with blemishes, I highly recommend this product! (Personally, it was extremely effective for me!) You might find the tingling scent a bit irritating, but that's an unavoidable characteristic of tea tree oil! Some people say the container is difficult to open, but you need to press down and turn the lid from top to bottom. Personally, I didn't have any trouble opening it. I don't recommend applying it directly to your face or using a cotton pad! The formula is similar to water, so it can easily run off, and if you use a cotton pad, the strong scent will linger on your hands. It's best to apply a drop or two on a cotton swab and target specific areas! - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinDec 9, 2018
Being tea tree oil, it definitely calmed my skin. I found it works great when adding a drop to my usual spot treatment gel! You might feel a slight tingling sensation when first using it. Unfortunately, it seems this product has been discontinued. Adding a few drops to your regular cream really boosts its soothing power! - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedNov 26, 2018
As expected from tea tree oil, it was great at calming down angry blemishes. My skin isn't particularly sensitive, so I applied it to the desired areas after my regular skincare routine. It wasn't irritating at all and worked well! I was a bit disappointed that the effects didn't show up quickly, but overall I was satisfied.
