  I recommend this for: - Those who want a cooling effect while cleansing - People with mild blemishes or non-severe acne (Note: This toner can cause redness and tingling on active breakouts! It's not because the ingredients are bad, but it feels like alcohol on a wound. However, the soothing effect is amazing!) As someone with combination skin prone to large pores, blackheads, and excess oil on my nose, but rarely gets big pimples, I've been using this product for about 5 years, finishing a bottle every month. I'm writing this review with a heavy heart as it's becoming difficult to purchase even through international shipping...

  While I don't have acne-prone skin, I occasionally get painful, large folliculitis on my chin or philtrum. That's why I always use this product for soothing and astringent purposes. I'm currently on my 4th bottle, keeping it stocked like a first-aid essential. When folliculitis or blemishes appear, I apply it to the troubled areas with a cotton pad, and it feels instantly calming, like a 'whoosh' of relief. During seasonal changes when my face turns red and irritated, I use it as an astringent. It's also great for soothing razor burn after shaving. Despite its strong antiseptic and dental office-like scent, which might seem harsh, my super sensitive skin has never had a negative reaction even with prolonged use. It's my holy grail product!

  First-time users might be taken aback by the scent... My family describes it as a dental office smell! The camphor (from camphor tree) ingredient seems to cause that sharp, tingling aroma. Also, it's not a gentle toner but an astringent containing alcohol, so it may irritate the eye area.

  I first tried this toner when my acne was at its worst. Even when other highly-recommended products failed to help, this one made a difference. When I soaked a cotton pad generously and applied it, I felt an immediate cooling sensation. The blemishes seemed to calm down quickly. Plus, the large bottle size is a great value!

  I initially used the Witch Hazel Lavender version, which was decent. This time, I ordered the Astringent, but its intense minty scent was off-putting at first. I left it unused until a sudden outbreak of blemishes prompted me to try it as a skin pack for soothing. Wow, it was a game-changer! After use, I could clearly feel my skin temperature drop, and the angry blemishes visibly calmed down. Now I'm doing a skin pack morning and night. I regret not using this amazing product sooner!
