I've been keeping it on hand like a first-aid essential for years. When used on early-stage blemishes, it seems to help prevent them from becoming more severe. Of course, it doesn't completely eliminate serious breakouts. I also love the cool, soothing sensation when applied - it's like a refreshing tingle. I've tried Kiehl's new product, but I think this one works better for me.
ConsWhile it gives a tingling sensation upon application that makes you feel like it's really working on the blemishes, I've noticed that makeup tends to pill a bit in the areas where I've applied this product.

Might be good to use in the early stages of breakouts.
ConsI get periodic breakouts, and when I used a sample, it seemed effective, so I bought it. However, when I tried it on my next breakout, I couldn't tell if it was working. It felt a bit irritating, so I stopped using it.

Regular application is key for best results.
ConsFor oily skin, it initially gives a cooling sensation, possibly due to the menthol ingredient.
TipUsing a cotton swab for application works well.

It does work, but I wouldn't call it a must-have!
ConsAfter application, the intense menthol sensation feels too tingling on the skin.

It's not a product I reach for daily, but it's something I always feel I need to have at home, like an emergency remedy. It's not one of those products that dramatically makes blemishes disappear overnight when you apply it. The type of blemishes this product works best on are those yellow, inflamed ones (the kind that look ready to burst). When a pimple has come to a white head, if you apply this product in a small circle on top, you can almost immediately see a chemical reaction taking place (it's less effective on less mature blemishes). After letting it dry and washing your face the next morning, you'll find the inflammation has subsided and the blemish has calmed down. It's similar to how acne patches work, but I prefer this because it uses more of a chemical action rather than a physical one to calm blemishes without having to pop them. (I really dislike squeezing pimples!) In the end, this method also leaves fewer acne scars compared to manually extracting them.
ConsThere's definitely a slightly irritating sensation when you use it. It contains menthol, so it can sting when applied to certain areas. It's especially uncomfortable if you put it on a blemish that has already burst. It's not really meant for use on open blemishes. In conclusion, it's a good product if you know how to use it properly.

First off, I liked that the formula is transparent, so it wasn't too overwhelming. It's great that it doesn't run after application. I've noticed my blemishes seem to be gradually reducing since I started using it.
ConsHowever, the quantity is quite small... I was a bit frustrated when purchasing it. The menthol ingredient causes an intense tingling sensation immediately upon application. My skin turned red after using it, so I ended up giving it to a friend. I've never had this reaction with other acne spot treatments or medications. Those with super sensitive skin should probably avoid this.
TipI found it works well when applied to emerging or mature blemishes. Never squeeze your pimples! Applying this after squeezing only makes the scarring worse.

What's certain is that this product is quite popular. The pointed tip, like a syringe, is perfect for applying to specific spots.
ConsProbably due to the menthol, it stings if applied near the eyes. You can feel how strong it is. It might not be good for long-term use... It's neither large in quantity nor cheap, but I don't need to use it often. I barely finished one tube by sharing it with others, and ended up buying another...

This is my holy grail product and I'll definitely repurchase when I run out. When I apply it to those pesky, itchy blemishes before bed, they're gone by morning! It's also effective at reducing redness!
ConsThe price... oh, the price... This tiny tube costs nearly 30,000 won. It can feel a bit spicy, and if you don't apply it carefully, it can really sting (especially right after squeezing it out). But personally, I like the tingling sensation because it makes me feel like it's working on my blemishes (I'm not weird, I swear).
TipI apply it twice - first a thin layer, then I dab on a bit more at the end. If you've already applied face cream, just clean the problem areas with a cotton swab before applying this. Don't throw away the tube when it seems empty - cut it open with scissors to use every last bit! Don't apply makeup over it as it can cause pilling, so I only use it at night.

I always apply it as the final step in my nighttime skincare routine, after cleansing and basic care. I use clean fingers or a cotton swab to target only the troubled areas. It works wonders on small pimples and minor blemishes! While it might not be as effective on cystic acne, with consistent use, I noticed those spots tend to come to a head faster and disappear more quickly. This feels like a spot treatment for blemishes, so it should work for all skin types. I'm not sure of the exact price, but it's around $30 for 15ml.
ConsIt can sting a bit, especially if it touches inflamed areas - ouch! Also, because of the small size... just when you're getting used to it, it's all gone!
TipIf you're applying it before bed like I do, keep in mind that this spot treatment has a gel texture and doesn't absorb immediately. So when you sleep, it might stick to your hair. It's best to try and keep your hair away from your face while sleeping!

The narrow opening makes it easy to control the amount. When applied to blemishes and surrounding areas, the redness and size decrease by the next day. I worried it might cause excess oil, but that was unnecessary concern. My skin is super sensitive, and while it feels a bit intense at first, it doesn't cause irritation and works well. It's truly a holy grail product. I always pack it for trips, no exceptions!
ConsThe alcohol scent is divisive - you'll either love it or hate it. Before it dries, it's sticky and hair can get caught in it, so you need to lie still until it absorbs. I'm not sure if my skin has become oilier or if the product is losing effectiveness, but last week two blemishes appeared suddenly and despite consistent application, there's been no improvement. On days when my skin is particularly sensitive, using this can turn my face into a tomato - it burns!
