I wanted to use it for my milia acne. Well... it seems to reduce the size of blemishes somewhat, but...
ConsEven when I applied just a small amount, it stung and caused a burning sensation on my skin.
TipIt seems to make my skin look redder. I'm a bit disappointed.

I used it for a long time hoping to see results, but I wish I had stopped using it much earlier.
ConsAs someone with super sensitive skin, it stung terribly at first. I thought it was just disinfecting, so I endured it. When I applied it to my blemishes, it formed a film-like layer, which made me feel like my pores were getting clogged. After using it for a few days, one blemish would disappear, but then reappear. I've found that creams work better for me than gel-type products. After switching to a cream, my blemishes almost completely cleared up.
TipIf a product doesn't suit you, I recommend just tossing it out. Don't be like me and keep using it to save money - you might end up with a sudden skin reaction.

It's quite good for tackling early-stage breakouts.
ConsHowever, after a month, I no longer felt that quick, dramatic improvement no matter how much I applied. One time, it stung much more than usual when I put it on. I thought it was normal since this product typically causes a tingling sensation, but when I woke up the next morning, there was a brown mark that looked like a burn scar. That was the end for me. I've been using scar ointment, but the mark is still faintly visible, unfortunately.

It's not a product I reach for daily, but it's something I always feel I need to have at home, like an emergency remedy. It's not one of those products that dramatically makes blemishes disappear overnight when you apply it. The type of blemishes this product works best on are those yellow, inflamed ones (the kind that look ready to burst). When a pimple has come to a white head, if you apply this product in a small circle on top, you can almost immediately see a chemical reaction taking place (it's less effective on less mature blemishes). After letting it dry and washing your face the next morning, you'll find the inflammation has subsided and the blemish has calmed down. It's similar to how acne patches work, but I prefer this because it uses more of a chemical action rather than a physical one to calm blemishes without having to pop them. (I really dislike squeezing pimples!) In the end, this method also leaves fewer acne scars compared to manually extracting them.
ConsThere's definitely a slightly irritating sensation when you use it. It contains menthol, so it can sting when applied to certain areas. It's especially uncomfortable if you put it on a blemish that has already burst. It's not really meant for use on open blemishes. In conclusion, it's a good product if you know how to use it properly.

It's also known for its rapid effectiveness - personally, I noticed blemish-calming results within two days at most.
ConsWhile experiences may vary, I wouldn't recommend this for super sensitive skin. Despite its effectiveness, I found it quite tingling with each application. The skin around my blemishes became very dry, and it took longer for my skin to recover.

First off, I liked that the formula is transparent, so it wasn't too overwhelming. It's great that it doesn't run after application. I've noticed my blemishes seem to be gradually reducing since I started using it.
ConsHowever, the quantity is quite small... I was a bit frustrated when purchasing it. The menthol ingredient causes an intense tingling sensation immediately upon application. My skin turned red after using it, so I ended up giving it to a friend. I've never had this reaction with other acne spot treatments or medications. Those with super sensitive skin should probably avoid this.
TipI found it works well when applied to emerging or mature blemishes. Never squeeze your pimples! Applying this after squeezing only makes the scarring worse.

It was recommended to me when I consulted about acne and blemishes.
ConsDespite applying it generously every morning and evening consistently, my acne didn't improve... In fact, it got worse (though I'm not sure if this product was the cause). The store staff advised frequent application, but it still had almost no effect.
TipTry applying it with a cotton swab...

There's this hopeful feeling that your acne might calm down the next day. That's about it.
ConsI've never actually experienced this reducing or eliminating blemishes. I think I set my expectations too high to begin with. The most frustrating part was that, for some unknown ingredient reason, if I applied it to the same area for two consecutive days, that spot would turn bright red as if I'd had a laser treatment. Most acne doesn't improve with just one application - it usually takes several days to see any effect. But with this, the treated area would flare up after just two days of use. I ended up having to use steroid ointment to heal the irritated skin. The Aesop product was fine even when used for several days in a row. I tried this Kiehl's one after finishing that, and it was a disaster after just two days of use.
TipIf you have super sensitive skin, please check for your personal allergy triggers before using this product.

The narrow opening makes it easy to control the amount. When applied to blemishes and surrounding areas, the redness and size decrease by the next day. I worried it might cause excess oil, but that was unnecessary concern. My skin is super sensitive, and while it feels a bit intense at first, it doesn't cause irritation and works well. It's truly a holy grail product. I always pack it for trips, no exceptions!
ConsThe alcohol scent is divisive - you'll either love it or hate it. Before it dries, it's sticky and hair can get caught in it, so you need to lie still until it absorbs. I'm not sure if my skin has become oilier or if the product is losing effectiveness, but last week two blemishes appeared suddenly and despite consistent application, there's been no improvement. On days when my skin is particularly sensitive, using this can turn my face into a tomato - it burns!

ConsAfter using it once, I took a break for a few years before trying it again. Maybe because my skin has become more sensitive, the cooling sensation I remembered now felt painfully stinging. The areas around my blemishes also became hot and irritated, with small red bumps appearing. I wouldn't recommend this for those with super sensitive skin.
