I think I used the exfoliating essence quite pleasantly, even though it was just for my acne.

The texture is light like a lotion and the scent is barely noticeable, which I like. I've tried all the skincare products that are supposedly good for stubborn acne, but this one is non-irritating and super effective. Now, I only get the occasional pimple very rarely. At first, I used it morning and night, and after about 6 months, my skin seemed to have completely renewed itself - my complexion changed dramatically. Nowadays, I only use it at night before bed, and I don't get any more breakouts. But when I got careless and skipped it for a couple of days, the acne came back. It's clear to me now that if I don't properly manage the dead skin, my pores get clogged and the acne returns. I'm so glad I found this product - I've been using it for over 2 years now.
Cons
-When I first started using it, for about 3 months it was really stinging, and I almost gave up on it. But as my skin started feeling less congested and I got fewer breakouts, I persisted. However, after the reformulation, I don't feel that sensation at all anymore. -When I apply it and then put on makeup, it tends to pill. And if I use a pore-filling primer on top of it, it gets even worse and balls up.

Pros
I purchased and have been using this product as it was said to be good for milia. I'm not sure if it dramatically eliminated them, but as I have very sensitive skin, it does seem to be reducing the appearance of milia.
Cons
I use it together with Duo, but I can't use it in the morning.. It gets so incredibly irritated and even if I pat it in aggressively, when I apply foundation, it just comes off in patches :( I only use it in the evenings now.

It doesn't seem to cause more troubles, as there are no suitable alternatives to continue using it.
Cons
This product does not work well with some skin or cosmetic products. I'm not sure what the ingredients are, but when used with Kiehl's Blue Herbal Skin or some foundations, it can cause something similar to peeling (though it's not actual peeling) to happen rapidly. Of course, if you absorb it thoroughly before using, it might be fine, but in the busy morning, quickly applying it can be disastrous. Therefore, I only use the product in the evening.
Tip
It shouldn't be used with Kiehl's Blue Herbal. It will cause peeling.

It's a product I've been repurchasing for about seven years, with dozens of purchases. It's a must-have in my life. There's a clear difference in whether I use the product or not - I get tiny pimples when I don't use it, but not when I do.
Cons
