Recently, due to lack of sleep, I had a couple of spots around my nose and forehead, but they've gone down after using this.
ConsIt stings so much when applying! After using this, my T-zone and cheek areas became even more inflamed and broke out. I personally don't recommend it. I've always trusted La Roche-Posay products, but because of this one, I had to visit a dermatologist who said it was an emulsion allergy... They warned that people like me without acne might actually experience more breakouts if they use this.

This is my honest review after purchase. I saw good reviews for the B.Fida Lacto Ampoule on the Hwahae app, but after using Dr. G cream, my skin went haywire. I urgently bought this product while browsing Olive Young to calm my irritated skin. I know this isn't the right place to mention it, but I saw the effects here - my skin completely flipped out after using that ampoule and cream. Now, this is my review after using the La Roche-Posay toner (which was gratis) and essence. I had an insane breakout of both small bumps and large cystic acne, but starting from the third day of using this essence, my skin began to calm down. It's now been six days. While the raised blemishes have mostly subsided, my skin is still red and irritated. I'll need to use it longer to know for sure, but it's definitely effective at soothing the skin.
ConsI took off one star because it stings quite a bit when you apply it... really intensely, actually. Looking at the ingredients, I think it might be due to the citric acid. Even at the dermatologist's office, they mentioned that while my skin is thick, it's also sensitive. Those with sensitive skin might experience stinging. I'm enduring the slight stinging because I can see it's calming my skin (the stinging is decreasing day by day, so it's bearable).
TipI don't like applying too many products as it's hard to tell what's working, and layering too many cosmetics isn't good. So I just cleanse with toner and apply this. By the fourth day, this cream alone wasn't quite moisturizing enough, so I started using it with the Dr. Park DR2 cream. That combination works perfectly. I have large pores and oily skin, so products with too much oil make me extremely shiny. This essence doesn't make me too greasy and provides good hydration, which I love.

While the effects aren't dramatic at first, you start to notice improvements with continued use.
ConsOccasionally, there's a tingling sensation, especially on days when my skin feels dry.

ConsMy skin used to only have a few blemishes and no small bumps, but suddenly my face became a party of tiny bumps. I heard rumors that this product was effective for these bumps, so I immediately bought it. I was aware that it might cause a tingling sensation when applied, so I wasn't too concerned about that. However, not only did the bumps not disappear, but my skin actually got worse, and the area affected by the bumps seemed to expand. Since I hadn't changed any other skincare products during this time, it was easy to identify this as the cause of my skin issues. I guess if a product causes a burning sensation or irritation when applied to your face, you really shouldn't use it, regardless of the reason.

ConsWhen I first apply it, there's a slight burning sensation that stings a bit. I haven't been using it for long, so I'll keep an eye on it. If it really doesn't suit my skin, I might have to toss it, which would be such a shame.

I usually get frequent whiteheads and redness. After using Effaclar K, my whiteheads have significantly decreased. Of course, they still appear a bit when I'm sleep-deprived or stressed, but applying Effaclar K feels like it gently controls them without being heavy. If you have oily skin, you can use this without hesitation.
ConsI've tried both Effaclar Duo and K. Initially, I used Duo but experienced a tingling sensation. I had read reviews mentioning this, but chose Duo as it seemed more commonly used. Ultimately, K worked better for my skin. I recommend testing both to see which suits your skin type. If I had to pick one downside to K, it's that it becomes difficult to squeeze out the product when you're almost finished with it.
TipIf you use it before applying makeup in the morning, you might feel like your oil production is better controlled throughout the day compared to usual.

ConsIt made my skin feel dry and caused a slight tingling sensation. Also, the amount of product is quite small.

I didn't see immediate results while using it, but I kept applying it consistently morning and evening because I didn't want to waste my purchase. Two months later, I was genuinely shocked when I looked in the mirror and saw that all the tiny blemishes had disappeared. This product really taught me that consistency is key when it comes to seeing results from skincare.
ConsWhen I first started using it, it was extremely painful and caused a tingling sensation for about a week.
TipApply this right after using a light toner. Make sure to pat it in well for better absorption.

The dermatologist recommended this, but it didn't suit me at all.
ConsMy face turned red and I felt a tingling sensation on my skin.

Earlier this year, my skin was particularly troubled with small blemishes, but this product really worked wonders for me! While it didn't completely eliminate all the sebum and blemishes, I noticed my skin got worse when I briefly stopped using it, fearing my skin might become too accustomed. Though results may vary, this product suits my skin perfectly!
ConsWhen I first started using it, it caused a slight tingling sensation, and for about three days, my makeup wouldn't sit well in the morning. I only use it at night, but the amount is quite small, so it runs out quickly.
