  It effectively conceals enlarged pores and definitely enhances the overall appearance of the skin. The staying power was impressive too. With its balm-like texture, gently applying a small amount can give you that coveted porcelain skin look.

  Cons

  You need to apply it in thin layers. If you accidentally apply it too thick, you might experience pilling.

  When I apply makeup over this, it definitely improves longevity, reduces oiliness, and minimizes creasing - that's a big plus.

  Pros

  Base makeup longevity boost! I'm currently using the Clio Kill Cover Founwear Cushion, and there's a noticeable difference between days when I apply this primer and days when I don't! On days with the primer, there's less oiliness, and my makeup lasts significantly longer. Smooths out skin texture! I have quite a bit of uneven texture around my eyes and mouth. While it's not a miracle worker, it definitely helps to smooth things out nicely.

  Cons

  Container issues The jar-type packaging feels less hygienic compared to a tube. I left the lid open while applying, and it collected a lot of dust... I wish they'd change the packaging. Tricky application If you don't get the amount just right, your base makeup can start pilling immediately. I found it works better if you warm it between two fingers, apply in circular motions, then pat with a puff. Even then, you need to use an extremely light touch when applying to avoid pilling! Pore coverage It doesn't dramatically fill in pores. It just makes them appear slightly smaller... I wouldn't recommend this to anyone looking for perfect pore coverage.

  Pros

  This product is seriously amazing. It covers pores excellently and does a fantastic job hiding uneven skin texture. The staying power is also incredible.

  Cons

  The stick format makes it a bit inconvenient to apply, as it can feel dusty. When Aritaum's primer is on sale for 4500 won, there's really no need to buy this. Also, the case is too heavy, making it uncomfortable to carry around.

  Pros

  Smooths skin texture: It does an excellent job at smoothing out uneven skin texture. Apply a rice grain-sized amount and gently massage with your ring finger - it's great how it evens out the skin's surface. Improves makeup longevity: Using this definitely enhances makeup staying power, reducing the need for touch-ups throughout the day. Ingredients: I love that it doesn't contain any harmful ingredients. It's an excellent product for those with super sensitive skin like mine. Application: It applies smoothly without feeling thick. The absorbs well compared to other pore-filling primers. Price: Considering its effectiveness, many other brands would charge much more for a similar product. I'm satisfied with its relatively affordable price.

  Cons

  Amount control: If you don't control the amount well, it can cause pilling. But that's common with primers... It pills less compared to other primers though. Round jar packaging: It's not a pump or tube, so it's a bit difficult to dispense and not the most hygienic. Thorough cleansing needed: Like with other primers, you need to cleanse your face thoroughly. Otherwise, the pore-filling ingredients can remain and clog your pores... which is not good!

  Tip

  Use a pore cleansing brush when washing your face. That's the best way to completely remove the pore-filling primer and cleanse thoroughly.

  I've tried Benefit and Banila Co primers before. Despite having large pores, I used to do minimal makeup out of laziness. During this summer's extreme heatwave, I found myself searching for a primer due to my expanding pores and quickly melting makeup. I carefully considered options to find a product with good ingredients, effective pore coverage, and long-lasting power. This primer applies smoothly and evenly with just a small amount. In summer, my base makeup would quickly break down as oil surfaced, but on days I used this primer, my makeup stayed intact almost all day. It's convenient that it's available in drugstores for testing and purchasing. The regular price is $18, but I got it for under $7 on sale from an online marketplace.

  Cons

  While the jar packaging is ideal for using up every last bit, the glass container makes it heavy and inconvenient for carrying around.

  Tip

  Previously, products I used would separate and pill, but I think the issue was with application, not the products themselves. It's important to wait until skincare products are fully absorbed, then apply the primer as thinly as possible. After applying primer, allow sufficient time before doing makeup to prevent pilling. If you use too much, it can result in thick, pilling makeup.

  Pros

  The makeup staying power is noticeably improved. It fills in pores well, doesn't pill on my skin, and has a nice texture when applied. Although the quantity is small, you only need to use a tiny amount, so it should last a long time. I found it works great when applied under the eyes, between the brows, and around the mouth to minimize fine lines.

  Cons

  Was it really necessary for it to come in a jar packaging? Also, it feels quite drying on my skin.

  Tip

  You need to be more thorough with your skincare routine than usual. Otherwise, it can feel too drying. I found it works better when I apply a rich essence or cream underneath, rather than using an oil.

  After much deliberation, I decided to buy this after checking Hwahae reviews. First off, the staying power is killer! Even after sweating buckets, I cooled down and dried off, then looked in the mirror - my skin looked amazing! It seems to cover pores really well too.

  Cons

  It's a shame you have to apply it with a floating motion. I think a tube container would have been better.

  Apply it in thin, circular motions two or three times.
