As a mom-to-be, I became more conscious about ingredients, which led me to try this lipstick for the first time. I'm thrilled that even though it's a color cosmetic, they've paid attention to the ingredients. It's become my go-to during pregnancy, and I'll likely continue using it afterward. I was pleasantly surprised by its performance, given its focus on clean ingredients. The color is gorgeous, and both the pigmentation and texture are impressive. The 'sunset' shade has a subtle brick tone, perfect for creating a beautiful, natural autumn look with vibrant color payoff. The texture strikes a nice balance - not too matte or creamy, but comfortably moisturizing without emphasizing dead skin cells. The scent isn't as fragrant as other color cosmetics; it's reminiscent of old-school lipsticks. You get used to it, though, and it's not particularly off-putting. I actually prefer this over artificial fragrances added for a pleasant smell. One downside is its staying power - it tends to fade after eating and drinking. However, I prioritize the ingredients, and since the color payoff is good, I don't mind reapplying. Another minor inconvenience is that all the cases look identical regardless of the shade inside. If you own multiple colors, it can be tricky to identify which is which just by looking at the packaging. I don't have any special tips to share. It's a great lipstick for everyday use that you can apply as often as needed. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinFeb 14, 2019
I bought this while searching for a lipstick with good ingredients. The color payoff is better than I expected! I purchased the shade 'Sunset', which is like a nicely toned-down brick color. It works as a perfect accent while complementing my skin tone. I'm so happy I can finally wear lipstick again! The scent is slightly reminiscent of crayons, and the staying power could be better. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinDec 18, 2018
If you're looking for a product with minimal harmful ingredients, this one's perfect. The color payoff is intense. The shade is similar to a deep brick color, and it's really pretty. Even when you're not wearing any other makeup, applying just this gives you a lively look. It's a bit disappointing that the shelf life is so short. However, I think this is because it doesn't contain harmful preservatives. The staying power is short, but if you apply it once, blot with a tissue, and then reapply, it lasts much longer. - Hwahae UserDry SkinJul 2, 2017
This color is between dried rose and brick red. I thought it would have an orange tint since the name is 'Sunset', but that's not the case. I think this is a pretty color to use for a mood-setting makeup look in the fall and winter, aside from the summer. But the downside is that it makes my complexion look a bit darker when I use it. It seems like it doesn't suit my skin tone very well. I'll try to find someone it suits better and give it to them. (laughs) The texture is matte, but it feels quite moisturizing after application. My lips are extremely dry and chapped all year round, so I'm a bit more sensitive when it comes to things like application compared to others. Please keep that in mind as you read. The product doesn't apply very well. Even after applying lip balm, it still feels a bit stiff... So it doesn't seem to go on evenly. It doesn't feel drying after application, but I'm not sure why it applies so poorly... And another downside I experienced with the peach color is that the case is a bit bulky and inconvenient. It also has a crayon-like scent. But the floral scent is a bit nicer than the peach one. I wouldn't really recommend this to those with very dry lips. But if you're someone who generally likes matte lipsticks, the color might be worth trying out. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinFeb 20, 2015
Hey, everyone, you really have to try this. It's honestly amazing! The color is not sunset, haha, but the color is so beautiful. If peony is a clear red, this is like a rose color?? Or a brick color?? It's similar, but it's not too flashy and it's exactly the color I wanted. Since it's a natural product, the longevity is a bit (a lot) lower... Just reapply it frequently. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinJan 23, 2015
The ingredients are good and the certified ingredients give me more confidence. I used to use natural tints, but when I used this, the color was more vivid, so I was hesitant. But the color payoff is also very good, and the color is natural, so I didn't have high expectations, but I was surprised at how pretty it is. From the name 'Sunset', when I applied it to the back of my hand, it was a slightly brownish red, but when I applied it to my lips, it became a beautiful red. It looks a bit like a toy, but it's cute. When I apply lip balm and then apply it, it doesn't get matte, it applies well. The smell is not great... but I'll try it anyway considering the ingredients. It's a bit matte? But it's not a big deal since I can just apply lip balm. I'm not sure if it's a tip, but it's also pretty when used as an eyeshadow or blush.
