The lipstick has great color payoff and applies smoothly without being too matte. The ingredients are also decent, so I can use it with peace of mind. The color is a bit too intense for my liking. I found that applying it lightly works better for me to achieve a prettier shade. If you want more hydration, use it together with a clear lip balm. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinAug 18, 2022
Among lipsticks with great ingredients, this one stands out for its attractive price point and excellent color payoff. Usually, lipsticks with good ingredients tend to have weak pigmentation, feeling more like a slightly tinted lip balm. However, this product rivals regular lipsticks in terms of color intensity. The application is smooth and moisturizing, with a surprising amount of staining power. Of course, don't expect the same level of staining as typical tints or lipsticks. The 'Sunset' shade appears as a dark reddish hue in the tube, but when applied to the lips, it transforms into a pinkish red, making it particularly flattering for cool-toned individuals. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a pink-tinted red lipstick with beneficial ingredients. Due to its moisturizing texture, this product might slightly disappoint those seeking a matte natural lipstick. There's a certain chic vibe that comes with matte lips, and it would be great if Nature's Friend could release such a version in the future. Tip for a matte lip look: Apply the lipstick, then gently blot your lips on the back of your hand to remove excess oil. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinDec 26, 2021
Brick red color - isn't it a pretty shade that suits everyone? That's the thought that comes to mind. Above all, I chose this product because of its great ingredients and price! Additionally, the color payoff is just as good as other similar products. The case lacks in design and feels flimsy. Perhaps due to its good ingredients, the lipstick comes off easily. If you buy it knowing it's not long-lasting, there's not much to be disappointed about. Use a cotton swab when applying for better hygiene! - Hwahae UserOily SkinAtopy SkinOct 8, 2021
The ingredients are great! For a natural lipstick, the color payoff isn't bad at all, and the shades are beautiful. Poor staying power, doesn't adhere well to the lips, and the scent leaves something to be desired. It's perfect for a bare-faced look or when you're just stepping out for a quick errand. Easy to apply for a light, effortless look. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinJan 27, 2021
I mentioned this in my review of the peach shade too, but I used to have a terrible time with lip products causing excessive dead skin cells, leading to painful picking and irritation. Since using this, those issues have significantly decreased. When I ran out of lip balm, I'd use this at home as a substitute - it's gentle and doesn't cause any blemishes, so I used it frequently. The ingredients are truly excellent, and the color payoff is fantastic. It applies matte but still has a bit of hydration, making it perfect in every way. Layering the sunset shade with the peach shade is even better! The packaging is also beautiful! There's honestly nothing to complain about. I think it's top-notch in every aspect! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinSep 16, 2020
I'm really impressed with the ingredients - they're excellent! The color payoff was pretty good too. While the color payoff was decent, the staying power left something to be desired. Still, it's not bad value for money. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinJun 23, 2020
The color payoff is excellent. The ingredients are gentle on the skin too. The shade is rich yet looks natural. The staying power is a bit disappointing. Having to reapply frequently... Frequent application seems to be the key trick! - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinMay 10, 2020
Since it's a cosmetic product that ends up being ingested, I prioritize the ingredients. Fortunately, the formula is great and I love the color payoff too. Regardless of the external humidity, it tends to dry out my lips, so I always need to apply lip balm. Lip balm is a must - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinApr 28, 2020
I've been using this product for 3 years now. Since lipstick is something you essentially 'eat', I don't use any other brands - just this one. The color payoff is excellent. Even though the ingredients are good, the staying power isn't the best. Still, I've been happily using it for 3 years. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinApr 23, 2020
First off, I liked that the color wasn't too vibrant but rather toned down, which made it versatile. Since it's an 'edible' cosmetic, the ingredients are great, and the price is amazing too! It's not particularly moisturizing, so the application isn't the smoothest, but with a lip balm underneath, it's absolutely satisfying. I thought this could be my go-to lip product! However... after using it for 1-2 weeks, I'm not sure if it's because of the changing seasons or if this product just doesn't suit me, but my lips started peeling beyond just dead skin cells. It's not noticeable visually, but my lips felt rough and strange, so I've stopped using it for now. After discontinuing use, it seems to be getting better. I've never had this issue before, so I think the lipstick might not agree with me rather than it being due to seasonal changes. Even with good ingredients, results can vary from person to person... It's really disappointing. If you're worried about the application not being smooth or emphasizing dry patches, make sure to apply lip balm first!
