The ingredients are great and the color payoff is excellent. If the shade suits your complexion, it's really nice. Update on June 1st: At first, I wasn't impressed, but after using it frequently, I've come to like it. It looks even prettier when paired with the Lux Red Drop lip product. I bought this thinking it was red, but when I applied it, it turned out to be a cool-toned hot pink with a hint of purple on my lips. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinDec 16, 2018
I liked that it doesn't come off easily, and the scent is fairly decent. The color is a bit disappointing as it's a somewhat dark, murky red that looks like a mix of red and brown. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinSep 1, 2018
I found an affordable natural lipstick from Bom Bom - it was the cheapest option with the best reviews, so I had to try it! Comparing it to Sidmool and Sandawha, which I've used before: Sidmool's color adheres well with a somewhat matte finish, but it's hard to maintain that initial feeling over time. I ended up turning it into a lip balm, but it grew mold (maybe the natural preservatives evaporated?), so I had to toss it. The ingredients seemed natural though! Sandawha costs a bit more than Bom Bom's sale price and is also available at Shinsegae Mall. It has some really eye-catching shades that are great for summer. Bom Bom's colors are more subtle, perfect for spring and fall. However, Sandawha doesn't adhere as well in a matte way and seems to resist staining completely - it comes off easily. Still, it has a soft, pillowy feel that's perfect for summer. I'm hoping Bom Bom will be my go-to for autumn red lips! This intense red shade reminds you that sunsets are naturally red. For those who prefer a more golden sunset look, it would be nice if they came out with orange or golden hues as well. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAtopy SkinSensitive SkinDec 18, 2015
Even though I have sensitive skin, Burt's Bees works well for me and doesn't irritate. Based on the reviews, I expected the color to be a reddish tone like peony, but the actual color is more of a muted sweet potato peel shade with a purplish brown tone. The color doesn't quite match what I was hoping for. Also, since I bought it in the winter, it doesn't apply as smoothly, so I have to make sure to use a lip balm before applying.
