My pores were noticeable, so I tried this after hearing how popular it was. Overall, it covers pores well and seems to brighten the face a bit. It feels like it tones down redness slightly, and the velvety texture is nice. However, the matte finish is unavoidable. As a primer, it does its job well! Not sure if it's due to poor amount control or my dry skin, but when I use this product followed by Estée Lauder Double Wear, there's some pilling. The balm format makes it tricky to control the amount. Also, it tends to attract dust, which is a bit annoying. I found that moisturizing my skin thoroughly and using this with a hydrating, emollient foundation makes everything look much smoother. Since it's a balm, slightly warming it with your body heat before application reduces pilling. When I used a puff to apply it, it pilled terribly - probably because it wasn't melted enough. Just warm it up a bit with your fingers first. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinJul 13, 2016
It's summer, so my skin gets really oily and shiny, but this product seems to mattify and control the oil well. My makeup lasts a lot longer without breaking down. The lid is really hard to open... It doesn't always open easily, so I have to call my husband for help sometimes. The built-in puff is useless. I much prefer applying it with my fingers, it works so much better! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinJan 18, 2015
Before applying makeup, I gently prepared my skin. It's not too dewy, but has a matte finish. It has a vanilla-like fragrance. When applied, it's not powdery, but there are some, granules that form... After applying and doing my makeup, I'm not sure if this product is effective or not. It's called a pore primer, but... My pores are still visible. After reviewing the ingredients, I was shocked. I'm glad I didn't purchase this.
