Highly recommended! Just dab a small amount and gently pat it onto your skin. It covers pores so naturally, it's amazing. The price is a bit steep... and it's hard to purchase as it's not widely available in many stores. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinOct 29, 2018
I have acne scars and quite visible pores. I usually use Benefit Porefessional, but in summer, my makeup gets oily with just a bit of sweat. Compared to that, this one definitely feels more matte and long-lasting. It seems much more suitable for midsummer than Porefessional. For my skin, it appears to be more effective at covering pores than Porefessional. Being in a jar format that you have to scoop out, it's less hygienic and more inconvenient than the tube-type Porefessional. It's a waxy balm type, so you need to warm it up well before applying to avoid clumping. Maybe it's because of the ingredients, or it could be my imagination, but sometimes I get blemishes after using it. The built-in puff isn't really useful. I take a very small amount on the back of my hand and warm it up by rubbing with my fingers. Once it's sufficiently melted and pliable, I lightly apply a small amount to my cheeks and nose. It sets quickly, so apply as fast as possible before it hardens and clumps. Applying too much also causes clumping and creates a powdery effect. After application, I gently press with a damp sponge, which helps reduce clumping. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJul 15, 2018
As someone who's always struggled with pores, this is the holy grail of pore primers I've ever tried... I absolutely can't do my makeup without Dr. Feel Good anymore. I apply it right after sunscreen, use this product to cover my pores, and then apply foundation. I've tried cheaper alternatives to Dr. Feel Good, but this product adheres the best and covers imperfections like no other!!! If you have dry skin, you need to make sure you moisturize thoroughly to prevent it from flaking. At first glance, it might seem hard, but if you roll it gently on the back of your hand, it melts quickly. When it's melted, apply it softly to avoid disturbing your base products!! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinMay 31, 2018
It glides on smoothly with excellent absorption and a pleasant scent. It does a great job of concealing skin texture irregularities. The price is a bit steep... It tends to get a bit tacky when the temperature rises, but I guess that's unavoidable with its wax-based formula. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinFeb 16, 2018
My pores were noticeable, so I tried this after hearing how popular it was. Overall, it covers pores well and seems to brighten the face a bit. It feels like it tones down redness slightly, and the velvety texture is nice. However, the matte finish is unavoidable. As a primer, it does its job well! Not sure if it's due to poor amount control or my dry skin, but when I use this product followed by Estée Lauder Double Wear, there's some pilling. The balm format makes it tricky to control the amount. Also, it tends to attract dust, which is a bit annoying. I found that moisturizing my skin thoroughly and using this with a hydrating, emollient foundation makes everything look much smoother. Since it's a balm, slightly warming it with your body heat before application reduces pilling. When I used a puff to apply it, it pilled terribly - probably because it wasn't melted enough. Just warm it up a bit with your fingers first. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinMar 12, 2017
The product has a high volume and effectively absorbs excess oil while covering large pores well. The high volume means it lasts a long time, but there are hygiene concerns. The built-in puff is useless. Since it is a balm-type product, it melts easily with body temperature. It is recommended to use only the amount needed, scooping it out with a cotton swab or spatula, rather than using the built-in puff. Gently roll it on the skin. Apply the base makeup after 1-2 minutes, as applying it right away may cause the product to slide or peel off. Proper cleansing is important, as the product fills the pores. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJan 19, 2017
The case is pretty and seems to cover pores well haha If you don't control the amount well, it gets cakey and is a bit difficult to use at first. You should use just a little and melt it well to apply it. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinDec 31, 2016
The pore coverage is great, giving me a porcelain-like skin texture. My skin doesn't react much to most cosmetics, but it occasionally gets blemishes due to hormonal effects. When I use this product, my face goes crazy. Within 5 hours of applying makeup, red spots appear under my eyes, on my temples, and on my forehead, and they show through the makeup. At first, I didn't realize it was because of this product, but after using it a couple of times, I noticed that my skin goes haywire whenever I use it. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAug 2, 2016
This product has been incredibly useful for me, as it boasts pores almost as impressive as a stone Hwahae Trial Reviewer. The case is also so adorable that I can't help but giggle every time I use it. And the built-in puff? Or whatever you'd call it? It's so soft and fluffy that it just puts me in a good mood every time I use it.☺️ If you close the case too tightly, it can be difficult to open it next time.😟😟 Since it's summer now, I recommend applying a small amount all over your face before putting on sunscreen, and then layering your base products. It's the bee's knees!🐳 - Hwahae UserCombination SkinJul 23, 2016
I switched from the professional version because it was difficult to control the amount. This one covers my pores well, and after switching to it, I feel like the oiliness and shininess have decreased a bit. The best thing is that it just covers my pores really well, that's the best part. I don't have much trouble opening the lid, and it's just generally fine. I can't really think of any downsides. Oh, now that I think about it, I do have a small and thin spatula that fits inside the container, so I can scoop it out easily. Without that, it might be difficult to get the product out. I don't melt it with a hair dryer, I just apply it directly to my nose and gently melt it, then pat it in with the built-in sponge as the store employee showed me. That way, there's no flaking or sliding at all. The employee said not to rub it with your hands and the sponge, but to just gently pat it in, and that's how I've been using it. The feel when applying it is not as nice as the professional version, but over time, it seems to control the oil well, and the adjustable amount is nice. I used the professional version for over 5 years, but I've switched to this one now.
