It prevents eyeshadow from creasing and, most importantly, it really enhances color payoff.
ConsI was using it well until my skin became sensitive. After application, my eyelids would get itchy and swollen. Without it, my lids turn red and itch, but at least they don't swell. I'm not sure if it's slightly irritating or not.

ConsHowever, on days when I use the NARS primer, my eyes become irritated and tear up frequently, causing my eye makeup to smudge. It's completely counterproductive. Even when I apply it a bit further from the lash line to avoid the mucous membrane, my eyes still sting, possibly because my eyelids fold inward. I'm not sure if it's due to excessive tearing or an allergic reaction, but the outer corners of my eyes become red, irritated, and sore. I tried using it a few times just in case, but the reaction was the same each time, so I had to stop. My eyes are already sensitive and prone to irritation, and the stick format makes me worry that the product might spoil faster.
