  Pros

  In the photo, NARS is on the left and Urban Decay is on the right. NARS is white and has a more matte finish, while Urban Decay is a light beige color and applies with a slightly moisturizing feel. After drying, both are thin and matte, but Urban Decay seems to be even more matte. On days when I use these, my eyeshadow definitely lasts longer. Shimmer and glitter also stay on longer. NARS feels like it applies a bit thinner compared to Urban Decay.

  Cons

  Although it's white, when you blend it out it becomes transparent, but there's a subtle brightening effect. It might be preferred by those with fair complexions or those who want to brighten their skin tone a bit. Come to think of it, it contains talc, and I'm wondering if it's a good quality talc...

  Tip

  Applying it to the aegyo sal (under-eye area) also improves longevity.

  Pros

  This product truly excels at its job. When thinly applied to the eyelids and set with eyeshadow using a brush before it dries, the adherence and longevity become absolutely phenomenal. There's no creasing or smudging either. Ever since I started using this, it's become an essential step in my makeup routine. I rarely give 5-star ratings, but this product definitely deserves it.

  Cons

  While not exactly cons, here are some points to consider: 1. Applying too much at once can lead to pilling. 2. The quantity might seem small for the price, but given its effectiveness and the fact that you only need a small amount, I think it's still worthwhile.

  Tip

  If you apply it too widely around the eyes, your foundation might pill. Don't panic if this happens - just gently pat the area with your fingers or lightly press with a tissue, then reapply your foundation by tapping it on.

  When applied thinly and evenly, it really boosts the staying power of eye makeup

  Cons

  If you don't control the amount well, it can pill a bit. But if you apply too little, there's no difference from not using it at all, and creasing still occurs. It's decent overall, except for the tricky application amount

  Pros

  This is my go-to item that I stock up on whenever I have a duty-free shopping opportunity! After applying my skincare and sunscreen, I spread a thin layer of this, and it creates the perfect base for eye makeup. It makes the application of eye shadows so smooth and effortless!

  Cons

  Unfortunately, if you apply eye makeup immediately after putting this on your eyelids, it doesn't really serve its purpose. When you're in a rush, the effects can be somewhat underwhelming.

  As someone with oily skin and double eyelids, I always struggled with eyeshadow smudging and creasing. But this product has been a game-changer! Even a thin layer provides long-lasting effects. It controls oil without over-drying and enhances the pigmentation of eyeshadows. I've tried various eye makeup bases, but this one tops them all in terms of satisfaction!

  Cons

  The product's volume relative to its price is somewhat disappointing. However, since it's applied to the sensitive eye area, I'm quite conscious of its shelf life. The small quantity ensures I use it up within 8 months of opening, which is a plus. Still, I can't help but think it would be more hygienic if it came in a squeeze tube without an applicator brush.
