It's moisturizing and absorbs well. It feels like water slowly flowing on your skin, haha! The skin finish is truly beautiful. As expected from the amazing Espoir, the color is genuinely pretty in true Espoir fashion. I'm grateful it comes out bright enough to suit my fair complexion. It works great with both a foundation brush and Espoir's rice puff. The scent is also quite pleasant, somewhat floral. The coverage isn't great... not really impressive. It's good for seasonal changes or cold days, but it's the kind of product that looks prettier and more natural the thinner you apply it. Also, I have allergic rhinitis, and after using this, I noticed my allergic reactions on my nose seemed to flare up more easily when I wasn't feeling well. It was tough to deal with. I think it might be due to the fragrance. The lasting power and adherence are both lacking. Since it's moisturizing but lacks coverage, I'd recommend applying it with an Olive Young moisturizing puff or Espoir's rice puff. Absolutely do not use this together with MAC Strobe Cream. When I used them together, I broke out in small bumps and my skin reacted badly. Also, while the skin finish is pretty, it can sometimes pill slightly or look too dewy, which might appear messy if you're not careful. If hair or dust gets stuck on it, it's a real problem. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinDec 30, 2017
The color and application are really good. I highly recommend it, especially for those with brighter skin tones than 21. I have combination skin, and in the winter, it tends to get quite dry overall. In the winter, if you mix it with the Maxstrop cream at a 2:1 ratio and apply it, it will give you a radiant glow!! And I've been using it since the year before last, and I saw that Director Pai uploaded a video on YouTube saying the ingredients are good, so I feel even more assured using it. And the color is really the best. Espoir really nailed the color selection! When it breaks down, it gets a bit messy. So in the summer, the breakdown happens a bit faster. But the color is so pretty that I've been using it continuously. In the winter, if you mix it with the Maxstrop cream at a 2:1 ratio and apply the air cushion, it will give you a radiant glow makeup!! The coverage isn't bad either!! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinDec 16, 2017
The skin expression is so beautifully done! The adhesion and spreadability are not bad either. And the best part was... I've always had such a hard time finding the right shade that matches my skin tone when using foundation, but this porcelain shade is just so perfect. I'm so thrilled! It's not as hydrating as I expected. Those who prefer a more hydrating formula should definitely avoid this. The coverage is not bad, so it can conceal minor blemishes, but it doesn't cover larger imperfections very well. And the thing I disliked the most was that the T-zone gets oily very quickly. Since it's more on the matte side, make sure to prep your skin thoroughly with a good skincare routine before applying the foundation! - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinNov 20, 2017
It seems to have good spreadability and high moisture content, so it's good for dry skin. It washes off easily. It's fine if you finish with a matte product. Since I haven't found anything that really suits my skin, it was okay. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinOct 28, 2017
Since my skin is on the fairer side, I usually use shades 13-17, but this one was just perfect - it brightened my complexion nicely and matched my skin tone beautifully. The color is a lovely ivory shade ❤ I had been using the Jini foundation, but it was causing me some breakouts, so I switched to this one. It's great - no more breakouts, and it's moisturizing yet has pretty good coverage. Most importantly, the color is absolutely gorgeous, and it applies very smoothly, giving my skin a lovely finish!! Wearing this makes my skin look so healthy and radiant 💕 I'll definitely repurchase once I run out 💕 There seems to be a lot of the foundation left inside the container, but I can't really tell how much is left 😞 The Espoir blending puff works amazingly well with this foundation 💕 - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinOct 19, 2017
First, 21 was bright and 23 was dark, but Espoir's colors came out in stages, which was good. The application was also good. When I applied it, I felt like my face was stuffy, and the coverage didn't seem that great. When I first bought it, I didn't have any trouble, but when I bought it a second time and started applying it, I started breaking out. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMay 21, 2017
I purchased this product after searching and searching, having lived a nomadic cushion life and wanting to try liquid foundation. ㅋㅋ Although I have trouble-prone and very sensitive skin, I had no problems at all using this product. ㅎㅎㅎ It applies thinly and is so nice! After applying, if I go over it once with the Innisfree No Sebum Mineral Powder, it lasts until late at night!! What's more, there are so many color options, so I was able to find the perfect shade for my skin. After applying, it felt moisturized, and with my moisturizing base cream, there was no tightness at all. When removing it with cleansing tissues, it came off completely clean. I'm completely satisfied!! I will repurchase~~ +For those who prioritize coverage, this is not recommended!! You should think of the coverage as almost non-existent.. ㅋㅋㅋ It applies incredibly thinly~~ There's nothing disappointing about the product itself, but the brush that came with it is a bit of a letdown ㅠㅠㅋㅋ There was a brush giveaway promotion when I purchased it, and the brush has a wide face that's good for sweeping across the face, but it gets stiff and dry after using just a little foundation (it could be that I'm just not good at using brushes ㅋㅋㅋ) So I'm currently relying on a Daiso puff! Scoop out an amount the size of a bean, dot it around your face, and then gently pat and spread it out with a damp makeup sponge for a thin, seamless application! - Hwahae UserDry SkinMay 17, 2017
My skin is fair, so 21 was a bit dark, but this shade is most similar to my skin tone and doesn't cause many breakouts, which I really liked. It applies smoothly and moisturizes well, so I don't need much touch-up. The coverage could be better, which was the most disappointing part. If only the coverage was good, I would continue using this product. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinApr 26, 2017
It's complex but moisturizing and great. It's a bit runny, so it applies well and breaks down beautifully. The best part is that the glow is so nice and lovely. As a combination skin type with oily nose, it seems to just melt off my nose as soon as it gets hot in the summer afternoons. It's moisturizing, but the longevity doesn't seem to be great. While it had a slight sheen in the winter when it broke down, in the summer it just disappears from my nose. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinApr 14, 2017
The coverage seemed just right, and the application was smooth as well! My skin tone is 21 cool, but it can sometimes be a bit lighter than 21. It matched my skin tone well! I don't know if it's because I have oily skin, but the makeup completely broke down within an hour.. It was completely gone. I thought Espoir would be reasonably priced, but that wasn't the case.
