This was my first foundation, and I loved its powdery finish and radiant complexion! For my dry skin, it was a bit too harsh to use in winter. It emphasized dead skin cells and showed some cracking. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinFeb 2, 2018
The generous amount of product is a plus. It's somewhat better to use in summer. There's a variety of shades available. Sigh... For my combination dehydrated skin, it severely emphasizes dead skin cells and is far too matte. I absolutely can't use this in winter. The coverage isn't great either. I can't find a single appealing feature, except that it's the lightest shade among foundations. I'll have to try their new product next time. If you have extremely dry skin like mine with no moisture, please avoid this if possible and focus on deep hydration. Also, since the staying power isn't great, a touch-up compact is essential. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJan 24, 2018
I'm on my third bottle of this product, and the main reason I keep repurchasing is the color. With other brands' shade 21, my face would look more yellow or my neck would appear whiter, with no noticeable difference from my bare face and lacking radiance. I used to apply a white makeup base and then foundation on top. But with this Porcelain shade, I just need to apply it, and it gives me the right amount of brightness. It provides a subtle glow that makes my skin look dewy. Despite having sensitive skin that often breaks out with the wrong products, this one doesn't cause any blemishes. That's why even after trying other cushions, I always come back to this one for its color and how it doesn't trigger breakouts. When my skin is in good condition, this product gives an amazing glow and makes my skin look gorgeous. However, when I have dead skin cells, blemishes, or dry patches, applying this makes those issues more noticeable. The appearance varies depending on skin condition. It doesn't stay as moisturizing as you might expect over time, and while the coverage isn't great, applying too much can emphasize wrinkles and cause the product to separate. Once when I had a bit of flaking on my cheeks, I applied this and it made it so obvious that I had to wash my face and redo my makeup. I use a damp puff to gently blend it in, then lightly pat to finish. Patting vigorously from the start can cause it to separate and emphasize any dead skin cells. I'm starting to feel like trying something new. Any recommendations? - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinOct 28, 2017
The skin expression is so pretty when applied thinly!! I have a bright skin tone, and even bright colors from regular drugstore brands would make me look dull, but this one is truly brightening and the color is so radiant - I love it! Hmm, on days when my skin is not great, everything just gets accentuated, and if I apply without caring, it goes on thick, which makes it feel a bit heavy and cakey... I'm looking for a lightweight foundation, so I don't think I'll be repurchasing this one. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinOct 22, 2017
The colors are diverse and beautiful, so there is a wide selection, and it is moisturizing, so it is good for dry skin! When it breaks down, it really crumbles messily. The creasing, accentuation around the nose, and caking are quite severe, and the transfer is no joke. It pairs well with a damp sponge~ - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinOct 8, 2017
The product didn't feel too heavy on my dry skin and worked well for me. I'm not sure if it's because my skin is very dry, but over time it emphasized some flakiness, and I chose the lightest shade possible but it still didn't look that bright on my skin. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinMay 26, 2017
I only looked at the color and bought it.. It's hard to find a porcelain-like bright shade among the foundations available, but the color is really beautiful. The adhesion is too poor.. The uneven texture is also severe, and it even accentuates the flaky skin. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinMay 21, 2017
This is a liquid type foundation. 1. I don't like it when the skin expression becomes thick and stuffy, but if you apply it in small amounts, it can express a thin and moisturized look! On the day when you have had a good sleep and your skin condition is good, you can express your skin with this and after about an hour, you can get a really nice glow and porcelain-like skin expression. This is a foundation that makes good skin even better! 2. It's quite moisturizing, but the coverage is not zero at all. I think blemishes and spots should be covered with a concealer, so the coverage doesn't seem to be a big problem. I would recommend this foundation to those who want a more transparent and thin skin expression, rather than those who have a lot of trouble or blemishes and want the foundation to cover them a bit more. 3. The color spectrum is relatively wide, so you will have a lot of options to choose from. In my case, I went to the store with just sunscreen on and told the staff member about the skin expression and color I wanted, and then tested it and used it. For those with porcelain-colored skin who feel that they don't look radiant even when using shade 21, it would be good to test it out. Let me summarize the drawbacks I've experienced after using it for a year. 1. Exaggerates poor skin condition As mentioned in the advantages, it can elevate your skin to the best on good skin days, but when applied on bad skin days, it seems to accentuate the issues. If you use it on days when you haven't had proper sleep or have flaky skin, it can have the opposite effect. Your pores may become more prominent, and flakiness may occur. 2. Breaks down due to temperature changes Since it's quite moisturizing, I think many people might use it in the winter. However, when you go from the cold outside to the warm indoor environment with heaters, it seems to break down quite messily at times. Of course, the foundation breaking down also depends on what you have applied underneath, but in my experience, the temperature difference also plays a role. 3. Dryness As this foundation is famous for dry skin types, many dry-skinned people might want to try it. But rather than just purchasing it, it's better to test it first. At first, it may feel moisturizing, but over time, it can start to feel dry and flaky. However, if you apply too many moisturizing base products, it may not absorb properly and start to slip. I'd recommend doing a test. 4. Longevity In the summer, it might be better to look for a different foundation. I have combination skin, and while the cheek area is relatively fine with powder application, the T-zone area severely lacks longevity. Especially in the summer, I wouldn't recommend this to those who dislike frequent touch-ups. I would recommend this foundation to those who want a more transparent and thin skin expression, rather than those who want to heavily cover up their skin imperfections. I think this is a foundation that makes good skin even better! - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinFeb 5, 2017
The product itself had a wide range of colors, so I was able to purchase a color that matched my skin tone. It was much drier than I expected, and it caused flakiness and patchiness. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinDec 2, 2016
The color was nice and it seemed to be quite moisturizing. First of all, the crumbling is not very pretty and the lasting power is not great either. And while it's fine in the summer, once winter comes, it tends to cling and emphasize flakiness. It also lacks adhesion, so when you apply it and then take a call, it ends up all over your phone.
