The color is bright and pretty, and it's so moisturizing! The coverage is a bit lacking and the staying power is disappointing - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinApr 17, 2018
Why, Espoir? Why discontinue this? My sensitive skin made me avoid foundation for a while, but this one has such a beautiful color and pairs perfectly with Chobyang BB cream. The application, feel, everything's a winner! It's not too matte or too dewy - just right for combination skin. It's a godsend! I finally found my holy grail and now it's discontinued? Why are you doing this to me? Please bring it back! On its own, it has short-lasting power and low coverage. As someone with sensitive skin, the BB creams and foundations I've used before all had low coverage, so it wasn't really an issue. In fact, it made my skin look beautiful. Try mixing it with Chobyang! I have shade 13 skin - fair but with redness, so I prefer yellow-based foundations. The Porcelain shade is light, but when mixed with Chobyang, its yellow base tones down Chobyang's pink base, creating the perfect brightening shade. It makes my skin look so radiant that I've even received compliments on my complexion when wearing this combo. Oh, why did they have to discontinue it? - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinFeb 28, 2018
It's moisturizing and absorbs well. It feels like water slowly flowing on your skin, haha! The skin finish is truly beautiful. As expected from the amazing Espoir, the color is genuinely pretty in true Espoir fashion. I'm grateful it comes out bright enough to suit my fair complexion. It works great with both a foundation brush and Espoir's rice puff. The scent is also quite pleasant, somewhat floral. The coverage isn't great... not really impressive. It's good for seasonal changes or cold days, but it's the kind of product that looks prettier and more natural the thinner you apply it. Also, I have allergic rhinitis, and after using this, I noticed my allergic reactions on my nose seemed to flare up more easily when I wasn't feeling well. It was tough to deal with. I think it might be due to the fragrance. The lasting power and adherence are both lacking. Since it's moisturizing but lacks coverage, I'd recommend applying it with an Olive Young moisturizing puff or Espoir's rice puff. Absolutely do not use this together with MAC Strobe Cream. When I used them together, I broke out in small bumps and my skin reacted badly. Also, while the skin finish is pretty, it can sometimes pill slightly or look too dewy, which might appear messy if you're not careful. If hair or dust gets stuck on it, it's a real problem. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinNov 7, 2017
I've been using it for almost 3 years now, I've tried Porecelin Porecelin Worm Cream and mainly using Porecelin, which fits me perfectly. It's moisturizing and the crumbling is pretty. I really dislike the porous crumbling, so as long as it doesn't have that, I'm good with it. It's ivory-colored, not yellow or pink, which I like. If it gets discontinued, I'll go and complain about it. It's moisturizing, but I'm not sure about the longevity. It lasts a long time, but it's just inconvenient to carry around. The price is also terrible. I use the wedge puff, and it's a perfect match! It doesn't need to be super glowy, so I use a no-sebum product to control that. - Hwahae UserDry SkinOct 2, 2017
There were so many color options, so I was able to choose the one that suited me best. It was just so great! It seems really moisturizing, so it should be good for dry skin! The porcelain color is so pretty! The longevity isn't that great, and the coverage... :( I wouldn't recommend it for people with a lot of blemishes.. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAug 26, 2017
The color is so pretty! When you apply it, your face instantly looks radiant and glowing. Even with just a little bit of patting, it spreads evenly across your entire face. And it's so moisturizing, which I think would be great for those with dry skin. The coverage seemed a bit lacking, I think. But since it's so moisturizing, that's not really a big deal. The longevity is just so-so though... I'm not sure if the adhesion is that great either, since it tends to peel off easily. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinJul 15, 2017
The colors are diverse and the skin expression is natural. No darkening. The coverage is weak and the longevity is not that great. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinSensitive SkinJul 14, 2017
Since my skin is quite fair, I was worried that even wearing a light-colored foundation would make me look yellow and dark. But I tried this product based on a friend's recommendation. The main reason I bought this was because the color is so pretty. It's moisturizing and doesn't feel heavy when applied. The foundation shade is a lovely ivory color. When I used the typical shade 21 from drugstore brands, it would look a bit dull and yellowish on me, but this one seems to match my skin tone well. The base makeup applies smoothly with an air puff, leaving a dewy, nice finish. I think it looks best right after application. I'd recommend this to people with good skin. To be honest, the coverage is not great, so you'll need to use a concealer separately. I have combination skin that's on the drier side, and the staying power doesn't seem that great. The T-zone area, which is more oily, tends to break down messily. You'll probably need to use powder in the oily areas. Due to the way it breaks down, I'm not sure if I'll repurchase this. When applied with an air puff, it has good adherence. Those who find it still looks too dark should mix it with a whitening cream or makeup base. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinApr 26, 2017
It's complex but moisturizing and great. It's a bit runny, so it applies well and breaks down beautifully. The best part is that the glow is so nice and lovely. As a combination skin type with oily nose, it seems to just melt off my nose as soon as it gets hot in the summer afternoons. It's moisturizing, but the longevity doesn't seem to be great. While it had a slight sheen in the winter when it broke down, in the summer it just disappears from my nose. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinApr 24, 2017
My skin tone is around #21, and I really enjoy applying makeup to look radiant. I was using the Estée Lauder Double Wear Cool Bone on its own, but I found it to be a bit too yellow, so I decided to mix it with a slightly lighter foundation. I really like Estée Lauder's longevity and formula, so I didn't want to switch to another brand. Instead, I chose the more affordable Espoir, which has a wide range of shades. When I tried it, I didn't experience any breakouts, but I still wasn't fully satisfied with the formula, so I started mixing a small amount with a porcelain-toned foundation. Surprisingly, the combination works really well for me, and I'm able to achieve a beautiful, luminous makeup look. Even people who don't know my bare skin tone think I have a naturally bright complexion. Of course, I apply the foundation lightly all the way down to my neck, as I don't like the look of just a bright face. Overall, I'm very satisfied with this setup and continue to use it regularly. I don't have any major issues, but I found that this product on its own didn't have great longevity for me.
