It's pleasantly moisturizing and the volume for the price is incredible! It worked great as an exfoliating toner. The fragrance is overwhelmingly strong... It's definitely a scent that people will either love or hate, but for me, it wasn't enjoyable at all. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinSep 19, 2020
I've been consistently buying this when it's on sale at the supermarket and using different scents. Back when the '7-skin method' was trendy, I remember my skin feeling super hydrated when I applied multiple layers. Now I use it after cleansing, soaking a cotton pad to wipe my face. The price and volume are so reasonable that I can use it generously without worry. In my younger days, I experienced blemishes and used expensive skincare, but now I just use whatever works as long as it doesn't cause irritation. I'm seeing a lot of reviews mentioning issues with ingredients and blemishes. As I'm pregnant, I'm worried if it's safe to continue using. I wish the ingredients were gentler. For those with dry skin, it might not provide enough hydration when used as a moisturizer. I use it to wipe my face before applying toner and essence. I also decant it into an empty bottle to use as a body mist after showering and even as a hair mist. When sprayed before blow-drying, it leaves a lovely scent in your hair. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinApr 29, 2020
First off, I absolutely adore the scent of this product! The natural floral fragrance lifts my mood every time I use it. What's more, I'm thrilled with the generous amount you get for the price - it's practically a jumbo size! When applying, there's no dryness at all. My skin feels instantly hydrated, and even though I have super sensitive skin, I experienced no major discomfort! I love using it chilled for a fantastic cooling effect. It also helps reduce redness, which is why I've made it a staple in my skincare routine! Hmm... you know what? I can't think of anything negative to say! Here's a pro tip: Instead of just using it as a cleansing toner, try it as a soothing mask. Apply it with Bioderma's round cotton pads for even better results! - Hwahae UserDry SkinApr 5, 2020
- Skin type: Very dry, lacking in both oil and moisture - Usage: Currently on my second bottle, I apply 3 layers each time but it's still long-lasting due to its large size It feels incredibly light and refreshing. Applying it right after cleansing is so invigorating! As someone with very dry skin, I layer toner and cream multiple times. This toner is perfect for layering. The large size allows me to generously hydrate my skin without worrying about running out. After cleansing, I soak a cotton pad generously with this toner. It effectively removes any remaining dust that might have been left on my skin from the towel. It feels like the hydration evaporates quickly after application. The moisture doesn't last long. Despite being marketed as deeply hydrating, it feels completely different from the more viscous 'snail mucin' type toners. With my dry skin, I need to apply two or three layers to feel like I've used just one layer of a more hydrating toner. I've heard that very dry skin tends to become even drier when there's heat on the face. Storing this in the refrigerator and using it in summer helps cool down the skin and seems to control both heat and excess oil. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinSensitive SkinMar 27, 2020
The volume is beast-sized, but the price is so friendly! I love that I can use it generously without holding back. It's great because it keeps your skin moisturized and cool on the inside while leaving it soft and smooth on the outside. This would be perfect for those with oily skin or anyone whose makeup tends to break down quickly in summer or who sweats a lot! Since there's so much product, it's also convenient for quick cleaning of brushes or removing makeup residue with a cotton pad. As big as it is, it's inconvenient to use, and maybe because it contains too much alcohol, it stings and causes redness when applied. To be honest, apart from the large quantity and low price, it doesn't have many advantages. The ingredients aren't great either, so I'd rather spend a bit more on a better toner. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinFeb 25, 2020
I bought two varieties during a sale - Aloe and Orange Blossom. I've experienced using both. The Aloe is perfect for fall and winter, while the Orange is great for controlling sebum in spring and summer. They're both moisturizing, come in generous sizes, and have subtle fragrances. While using them, I didn't notice any particular drawbacks. However, when I checked the full ingredient list on the Hwahae app, I felt a bit... I use it as a '7-skin method' by applying it with a cotton pad. It also works well as a mist. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinJul 31, 2019
For combination skin types, this product is great for the 7-skin method. The large volume means you need to apply it multiple times, not just once. I highly recommend it to those who practice the 7-skin routine. When you pat it in several times, you can really feel your skin becoming deeply hydrated. As someone who does the 7-skin method, I'm on my second bottle. The price is reasonable, making it affordable for the 7-skin routine. If you don't use the 7-skin method, it might feel a bit superficial. You need to apply it at least 4 times for a single use, otherwise your skin feels tight. Also, the bottle is too large, so you need to transfer it to a mist container for easier use. That's how I use it. Once decanted, it's easy to spray and pat in for better absorption. Personally, after cleansing, I transfer it to an empty mist bottle and spray it directly on my face, then pat it in. I repeat this about 5 times. Afterwards, my skin feels more hydrated than oily. But as I've mentioned, if you're only planning to apply it once, it's better not to buy it. I recommend this to those who want to try the 7-skin method. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinApr 19, 2019
This is a product my husband and I have been using together for years without any issues! The scent is pleasant, the texture is nice, and it's great value for money. When layered and patted in multiple times, it's surprisingly soothing and hydrating for its price point. That's why we keep using it! The ingredients don't seem to be particularly outstanding, but it still seems to be a product that can be used without any problems. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMar 19, 2019
1. Monster-sized bottle I use it like a skin pack when drying my hair - soak cotton pads generously, wrap them all over my face, finish drying my hair, toss the pads, then wipe my face again. Even after repeating this, there's still an insane amount left. 2. Moisturizing with a refreshed skin feel Feels cool upon contact with the skin, and leaves a fresh finish 3. Affordable price 4. Effectively refines skin texture I always use an exfoliating toner after cleansing, and this one not only smooths out skin texture well but also seems to remove excess oil while replenishing moisture 1. When I first used it, there was a slight tingling sensation It went away with continued use 2. It's called an Orange Blossom toner, but... the smell is unpleasant The scent was really off-putting when I first smelled it 3. Even though I don't have sensitive skin, I felt a slight warming sensation when I first used it, similar to point 1 When I first bought it and opened the cap, there was something like limescale around the rim of the lid. It was gross, but I used it anyway because it was cheap and I couldn't be bothered to return it I use it more for skin packs and soothing rather than as a primary exfoliating toner, mainly because it's so cheap - Hwahae UserOily SkinMar 14, 2019
The generous amount of essence allows for multiple applications, providing ample hydration to the skin. The scent might be off-putting at first. However, you get used to it as you continue using the product.
