- Skin type: Very dry, lacking in both oil and moisture - Usage: Currently on my second bottle, I apply 3 layers each time but it's still long-lasting due to its large size It feels incredibly light and refreshing. Applying it right after cleansing is so invigorating! As someone with very dry skin, I layer toner and cream multiple times. This toner is perfect for layering. The large size allows me to generously hydrate my skin without worrying about running out. After cleansing, I soak a cotton pad generously with this toner. It effectively removes any remaining dust that might have been left on my skin from the towel. It feels like the hydration evaporates quickly after application. The moisture doesn't last long. Despite being marketed as deeply hydrating, it feels completely different from the more viscous 'snail mucin' type toners. With my dry skin, I need to apply two or three layers to feel like I've used just one layer of a more hydrating toner. I've heard that very dry skin tends to become even drier when there's heat on the face. Storing this in the refrigerator and using it in summer helps cool down the skin and seems to control both heat and excess oil. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinFeb 21, 2019
The affordable price and large quantity are great advantages. It's nice that I can use it for a long time. I was using it as a pack by soaking cotton pads, but it felt tingling and slightly irritating, so I decided to just use it as a mist instead... - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSep 13, 2018
I've been using this regularly and I'm quite satisfied. The generous amount lasts a long time. It seems many other users have complaints. I must admit, it can be a bit drying. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinFeb 14, 2018
The fragrance is so lovely that it's great as a quick perfume substitute. For instance, when I went to a barbecue restaurant, a quick spritz on my hair and hands almost completely eliminated the meat smell. While it's not quite enough on its own as a toner, it works wonderfully as a pre-emulsion step. I found that wiping it on with a cotton pad before applying emulsion kept my skin hydrated for longer. It's perfect for refilling into a spray bottle to use as a mist! Plus, the large size means it lasts for ages. 1. While I enjoyed the scent, it's quite strong and might not be to everyone's taste. 2. It's nice as a mist, but it can sting the eyes and the skin feels dry soon after. 3. It lacks any specific skincare benefits. 4. The large size that allows for long-term use also implies potential downsides (like high preservative content and hygiene concerns). - Hwahae UserCombination SkinFeb 10, 2018
- The large volume lasts incredibly long. I used it twice daily for 2 months, then every morning for another month and a half, and there's still about 1/5 left. - It's not sticky and absorbs quickly, making it easy to layer other products on top without feeling heavy. - It doesn't particularly help with deep dryness (I applied it using one side of a Silcot cotton pad to wipe my face, then patted it in with the other side). - There's a somewhat irritating sensation and slight burning when absorbing into the skin (not a cool, refreshing feeling / not every day, but especially when my skin was sensitive). - I used a spray bottle (the gratis one that came with it). Since the product comes in a large container, sometimes too much pours out when soaking a cotton pad. Putting it in a spray bottle makes it convenient to spritz onto cotton pads, preventing oversaturation. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinMay 1, 2017
It is a toner with a mild, natural feel, without the cold sensation of alcohol ingredients. The large volume means it can be used for quite a long time after purchasing. I purchased it at the offline Watsons store, but was very disappointed to find a gap at the bottom of the toner dispenser after opening it. However, I am still using it well.
