On very dry days, I add a small amount of facial oil. On healthy skin days, this product alone leaves my skin feeling comfortably moisturized. I also like the tube packaging. During the nearly 2 weeks of using this, I didn't experience any trouble or breakouts, even with my sensitive skin.
ConsAfter a dermatological treatment, my skin became a bit drier, and using this product alone for daily care caused my face to feel tight and painful when I woke up in the morning (but applying Physiogel and going to sleep resolved the issue by morning). It's quite dense and rich, and I thought it would be enough to just use this alone before bed, but the moisturizing effect doesn't last long. I personally don't prefer products with a lot of layering steps, so I had to add other essences to help with the moisturizing function of this cream. (Is this an 'active layered cream' that requires active layering?) After application, I can feel an oily, slippery residue on my hands and face surface. I don't like that slippery, heavy feeling, so I had a poor first impression of this cream. The slipperiness and heaviness mean I have to apply it thinly, but then the moisturizing power is lacking. And even if I apply multiple layers to get better hydration, the slippery feeling doesn't go away no matter how much I pat it in. I find that products like Physiogel or Eucerin provide longer-lasting hydration and leave less of an oily, slippery residue on my skin after application. It's kind of like makeup with poor adhesion... I'll use up what I have, but I don't plan to repurchase this.

The opening is relatively large, so you can apply just a small amount (about the size of my little fingernail) and cover your entire face. It is a rich, oily cream, so it's good to use as a final step to protect against moisture loss. Given the overall volume, the amount needed to apply seems quite substantial, so I think it will last me for a while. The oiliness doesn't disappear immediately, but after about 3 hours, it becomes less noticeable (though individual experiences may vary).
ConsMoisture As this is a highly oily cream, applying too much can lead to a breakout of small pimples. On the first day, I may have applied too much, and I ended up with bumpy pimples on my cheeks. On the second day, I reduced the amount I applied, and the pimples gradually subsided. The oiliness can also transfer to your bedding or clothes, so it's good to be mindful of that.
TipAbsolutely do not mix this with oils (even a small increase in amount can cause pimples to appear / it's great when applied in moderation). Apply a light moisturizer, let it absorb, and then apply this - your skin will be soft and supple the next day!

But I was amazed that when I just used this product and did my makeup in a hurry, it didn't flake off! The scent is almost unscented, and even though it's a cream formula, I thought it would be really sticky, but the moment I applied it to my face, it became so moisturizing!
ConsIt didn't sting, but I did get some small pimples. And the absorption wasn't great - it had a bit of a greasy feel. And over time, a lot of oil started coming through.

The absorption is not bad either. And when it gets very dry, if you apply it very thinly, it won't get as dry.
ConsThe excessive oiliness compared to the moisture and the price are disappointing... I used this and the oil came up too much, and acne also came up... There's also a bit of a tight feeling... Not recommended for dry acne-prone skin..
TipWhen very dry, just apply a thin layer to the dry areas!

While the formula is quite thick and feels heavy on the face, it has been perfect for when my skin feels irritated and dry due to the cold, windy weather.
ConsHmm, when I first opened the lid, I was a bit surprised that there wasn't a seal. When using this product along with other products, the oil can get a bit excessive, so you'll need to adjust the amount applied, especially in the T-zone area.
TipIf your skin is not extremely dry, I would recommend using this product on its own rather than layering it with other products. At first, I made the mistake of applying it like a lotion and then using it as a cream, which led to a very oily and shiny look the next morning. However, I found that using this product alone after toner works perfectly. For those who want to simplify their skincare routine or don't want to use multiple products, this could be a great option for getting through the winter!

It's so high-moisture that even though I have very dry skin, when I applied the thin toner and emulsion that I use in the summer and then layered this cream on top, it wasn't dry at all. The moisture is amazing! Moreover, my skin gets very dry and itchy sometimes, but this is suitable for all skin types and helps with itchiness, so I tried it on the itchy areas and the oiliness was just a bonus - the itchiness went away completely. It also lasts a long time. I really liked it!
ConsThere is a bit of stickiness and a heavy feeling when applying it. You have to apply it moderately. The moisture is good, but if you apply too much, it gets very oily and shiny all over. You could become an oil king, with oil shining all over your face. I wouldn't really recommend it for oily skin types. Unfortunately, when I applied it on my face that was breaking out, there was a bit of irritation. The price is quite high considering the amount. But I feel lucky to have been selected as a Hwahae Trial Reviewer and able to use this product. If I had tried to purchase it regularly, I probably would have hesitated due to the price.
TipEven for dry-skinned people, it can make your face oily after application, so those with very oily skin should consider it carefully. Given how moisturizing it is, the thick texture is recommended for nighttime use.

So I only applied it around my eyes and the areas that tend to get dry, like the corners of my mouth. In conclusion, I'm extremely satisfied. I was worried about the pore-clogging ingredients, but when I applied it thinly over my blemishes, there were no issues, and the next morning, the moisturized feeling remained around my eye area, just like an eye cream. For nighttime! A fuss-free moisturizing cream!
Cons* Hygiene of the container?: Someone uploaded a photo, and there was a protective film (like Madecassoside) on the lid, so I thought, 'Oh, that's nice,' but when I opened the lid, the cream was just directly exposed..haha * For oily skin, it's a bit greasy to apply all over the face.
Tip* If you want to use it before your morning makeup, apply it very thinly and then use a matte sunscreen/foundation to prevent the makeup from clumping around the sides of your nose later in the day.

The scent is not particularly fragrant, but it's not unpleasant or overpowering either. As others have mentioned, I'm not sure about the chemical smell. When applied, there is an oily residue on the face, but it gets absorbed within about 5 minutes, leaving the skin feeling more supple. In the morning, the skin feels soft and smooth. I normally use a different cream, but this one seems to work better for me in the winter.
ConsI have dry skin with a slightly oily T-zone, so this worked well for me. But I'm not sure how it would perform for those with oily or acne-prone skin types.

It has excellent lasting power and is easily absorbed. At first, I applied the same amount as my previous moisturizer, but this product is quite oily, so it felt a bit stuffy. Then I squeezed out a small amount (about the size of a bean) and mixed it with a lotion or light moisturizer, which made it feel comfortable without the stuffy sensation. The texture is a bit thinner than Madecassoside, so it was easy to apply. The scent is slightly like ointment if you bring it close to your nose, but it didn't bother me at all. The biggest advantage of this product is that while the surface of the skin appears oily, it doesn't feel stuffy or uncomfortable at all. I think this would be a great product for those with dry skin.
ConsAs I have combination skin, I felt the oil content was a bit too much for me. My hair got stuck and it felt greasy, so adjusting the amount was a bit tricky. I wouldn't recommend this to those with oily skin.
TipFor those with combination skin, it might be best to mix it with a lotion or light moisturizer before applying.
