Pros

The winter has made my skin very dry (dehydrated), but when I used to apply the Physiogel AI lotion, the oiliness would sometimes cause a pimple or two to appear. However, this product doesn't have that issue at all and just soothes my skin, which I really like :-) It has a rich texture, but melts nicely when applied, and it's a really great cream for me! Definitely a winter must-have.

Pros

This is a very dense cream. When my face feels too tight and I'm about to go crazy with an oil mess, I've found this formula like Vaseline to be very helpful. There's a comforting feeling to it, and even after applying, it has a luminous finish. If you have dry skin, you'll know the feeling - your pores and individual skin cells cracking open like a drought... It's agonizing, not even allowing for makeup. Slathering on oil might provide some relief, but then there's the issue of the greasy sensation... And if you do try to apply makeup, the oxidation causes darkening due to the oil... So I'm glad I found this. Thank you. This was my experience through the winter, and nowadays in the rainy summer season, I don't use it as much. The skin feels heavy too... :) But I'm keeping it for use in the winter. It didn't cause any milia around my eyes. There are no other active ingredients, but that's a plus. (Niacinamide could have been used for brightening, but it's probably not dosed high enough to make a difference anyway, so they didn't go that route.) A moisturizer just needs to moisturize, after all.

Cons

It creates a film on the skin. Of course it's great in the winter, but in the summer it feels suffocating, and it has a heavy, greasy feel from all the glycerin they've packed in. If you dislike that 'coated' sensation, you won't be able to use this, and if you have oily skin, it's likely a product you won't reach for year-round.

I bought it through home shopping, and it seems to have decent absorption and good moisturizing properties. The fragrance is also quite pleasant, so it's nice to use!

Cons

Even after applying it, there are times when the outer parts of my face or my forehead feel dry. Since it's an ointment-type, it's difficult to squeeze out the last bit when it's almost used up.

Pros

The fragrance is odorless, and the texture is like an ointment. When applied heavily, it leaves a white cast, but it absorbs well if gently patted. You should apply the right amount for your skin condition. While it feels slippery when washing hands due to the oil content, it doesn't feel greasy or slick when applied to the face, which is nice. It just applies cleanly. It's also good that it contains brightening and anti-aging ingredients in addition to being a moisturizing product! Using it, I felt like the surface dead skin on my skin was soothed, and my skin felt incredibly smooth and supple the next day after cleansing. This cream seems like a good option for the winter. (Review from a Hwahae Trial Reviewer) I have combination skin, and for my daily care routine, I apply a hydrating mist several times after cleansing, followed by layering a nourishing lotion. On very dry days, I add a small amount of facial oil. On healthy skin days, this product alone leaves my skin feeling comfortably moisturized. I also like the tube packaging. During the nearly 2 weeks of using this, I didn't experience any trouble or breakouts, even with my sensitive skin.

Cons

After a dermatological treatment, my skin became a bit drier, and using this product alone for daily care caused my face to feel tight and painful when I woke up in the morning (but applying Physiogel and going to sleep resolved the issue by morning). It's quite dense and rich, and I thought it would be enough to just use this alone before bed, but the moisturizing effect doesn't last long. I personally don't prefer products with a lot of layering steps, so I had to add other essences to help with the moisturizing function of this cream. (Is this an 'active layered cream' that requires active layering?) After application, I can feel an oily, slippery residue on my hands and face surface. I don't like that slippery, heavy feeling, so I had a poor first impression of this cream. The slipperiness and heaviness mean I have to apply it thinly, but then the moisturizing power is lacking. And even if I apply multiple layers to get better hydration, the slippery feeling doesn't go away no matter how much I pat it in. I have dry skin, and my cheeks were even cracked and bleeding due to lack of moisture and oil. Regular products tend to make my skin feel tight during the day, so I often have to reapply, but with this, I hardly had to reapply except around my mouth area after brushing my teeth. It seems to lock in moisture very well, even just using the toner twice before. 2. Soft feeling after cleansing When I cleanse my face in the morning and evening, there's a soft, smooth feeling the moment the water touches my skin... It feels supple without any stickiness or tightness. Those who have tried it will know what I mean, but it's hard to describe in words. 3. Makeup applies well. I won the event and received it! This is a review of 6 days of use. 1. The packaging is a tube type, which was good for hygiene. Personally, I prefer tube-type packaging over jar-type, but many cream products are jar-type, which is a bit disappointing. This product is tube-type, which I liked! 2. The creamy texture was great.
