The fragrance is also quite pleasant, so it's nice to use!
ConsEven after applying it, there are times when the outer parts of my face or my forehead feel dry. Since it's an ointment-type, it's difficult to squeeze out the last bit when it's almost used up.

Powerful moisturizing power! I applied it before bed and in the morning, and it felt comfortable all day long without any tightness. I have dry skin, and my cheeks were even cracked and bleeding due to lack of moisture and oil. Regular products tend to make my skin feel tight during the day, so I often have to reapply, but with this, I hardly had to reapply except around my mouth area after brushing my teeth. It seems to lock in moisture very well, even just using the toner twice before. 2. Soft feeling after cleansing When I cleanse my face in the morning and evening, there's a soft, smooth feeling the moment the water touches my skin... It feels supple without any stickiness or tightness. Those who have tried it will know what I mean, but it's hard to describe in words. 3. Makeup applies well. With the good moisturizing, my skin doesn't get as flaky, so my makeup doesn't cling or look uneven. I don't have to put in as much effort to touch up my makeup throughout the day. Some people have mentioned their makeup sliding off, but for me, the lack of visible flakiness allowed for a smoother makeup application. 4. No fragrance! I don't really like strong fragrances, so I appreciate that this product has almost no scent. 5. Packaging The jar design prevents the cream from getting recontaminated, which is great for hygiene. It's also easy to use up the product completely.
Cons1. Spreadability Since it's winter, my hands are often cold, and the cream didn't spread as easily or melt as well... When I warmed my hands and then applied it, it spread well, but I remember being startled when I first tried to apply it with my cold hands. Haha. 2. Feeling of heaviness With the great moisturizing, there's a thick, clogged feeling when you first apply it? Especially when the air from your nose touches the skin, it feels a bit stuffy. A strange sense of heaviness? It's better once it's absorbed, but those who dislike that heavy feeling might find it challenging. 3. Difficulty mixing with other products I usually like mixing creams, but since this has a balm-like texture, it doesn't blend in well with other products, which is a bit disappointing. 4. Strangely, I developed some breakouts along my hairline. My skin is otherwise smooth and I'm using it well, but the hairline area... I wonder why? 😢

This is an honest user review. 1. Fragrance-free It wasn't particularly good, but the lack of fragrance wasn't bad either. It was clean and decent. 2. Moderate stickiness After cream absorption, there is a slight glossiness and a bit of stickiness left. It feels plump on the skin (it seems to be perfect for dry skin). 3. Lasting hydration The hydration seems to last quite a long time after application.
Cons1. Absorption Like all creams, this one is not particularly fast-absorbing either, and you have to keep massaging it in... The only slightly disappointing thing is... the price-to-volume ratio, I suppose?
TipIn the winter, applying a facial oil after the cream can help lock in moisture and prevent dryness for a long time!

Container Personally, I really prefer this kind of metal container. I like the feeling that it minimizes contact with air, allowing me to use the product freshly. The product was sealed, and I opened it using the cap like a tube of ointment. 2. Moisturizing Power So far, I've used products in this kind of metal container from brands like Centellian24, C&P, and Avène. Among them, this cream had the best moisturizing power. It matched the claim about suppressing flakiness. Due to the nature of the main ingredient glycerin, this product doesn't seem to directly provide a lot of moisture to the skin. However, it seems to well preserve the moisture the skin already has or the moisture from the previous cosmetics applied. Lately, as I've entered my mid-20s and the winter season, my face has been getting dull and flaky, but after using this product and doing my makeup, the flakiness miraculously disappeared! 3. Gentleness The cosmetic products from the brands I mentioned earlier... I experienced clogged pores and irritation, so I didn't repurchase them. But this product adapted to my skin without any such issues. I also like that it doesn't contain artificial fragrances. 4. Brightening Effect Honestly, I didn't have high expectations, but the more I used it, the more my complexion seemed to brighten in a strange way. It's not that it makes my skin whiter, but brighter. I'm not sure about its wrinkle improvement function.
Cons1. Price I have no intention of purchasing it at the original price in the 50,000 won range. It's not like there are any patented ingredients, so why is it so expensive? Honestly, it's not even a well-known brand (I acknowledge the blood, sweat, and tears of the Cosmecca researchers), so I'm curious how this pricing structure came about. If it were in the 20,000 won range, I would have continued using this product until alternatives came out! If it were 19,000 won for a 30ml volume, that would have been even better. 2. Difficulty in Blending Recently, I've been using a toner to smooth my skin texture, then applying a mix of facial oil and a Physiogel lotion/aloe gel. When I tried to mix this product with my current facial oil, they didn't blend well. So I gave up on blending and just apply this as a final protective layer. 3. Lack of Moisture Using this product alone lacks moisture, so those with dry skin may feel it's drying. I think if you first provide moisture to the skin with a lotion or serum and then apply this, the moisture level can be sufficiently covered! 4. Forgettable Product Name There are so many brands with "derma" in the name. Also, when I asked my English-native friend, they said the "z" in the name sounds a bit strange. Why not just use a Korean name? When I searched for "Dermaflats" on Naver, I only saw blog posts about advertising model recruitment and promotions. Of course, initial promotion is necessary, but I think if they changed the name and lowered the price, it would sell much better.
TipTo maximize the moisturizing feel, it's better to use this cream not on its own, but after applying a serum or lotion to provide that extra boost of moisture beforehand!

It's a bit thick when applying, which is a bit of a concern. It feels like my skin is stretching...However, unlike that, it absorbs quickly. Maybe because I have very dry skin...Haha. I was surprised that there's no oiliness. Anyway, I'd give 8 out of 10 points for spreadability and absorption. Fragrance - Slight medicinal smell? It's not completely fragrance-free, and there's a slight medicinal smell, but I couldn't really notice it when applying. You'd have to sniff the back of your hand to detect it...Anyway, I was fine with it. And since I really dislike fragranced cosmetics, I was happy with it.
ConsMoisturizing Power - Doesn't resolve the tightness When my skin condition is good, applying it before bed and waking up the next morning, my skin feels moisturized. But as I approach my menstrual cycle, now my skin feels tight and pulled just 4 hours after applying. I'm currently using the 7-skin method and only changed my regular moisturizer, but this is happening...I'm writing this post right now and my skin feels so tight, it's driving me crazy... Price - 53,000 won?! That's so expensive... The amount isn't that much, and there are 2 cautionary ingredients, but it doesn't work for me, so I'd better just use my regular moisturizer for 53,000 won. Plus, it's been stinging lately...ㅠㅠ

I used it consistently for 9 days and am leaving a review. First of all, the spreadability is excellent! I expected the high-moisture cream to be very oily and heavy in texture, but it turned out to be lighter and smoother than I anticipated. I think this product is perfect for the current weather. The oil-to-water ratio is around 7:3, so those with extremely dry skin may not even need to use a separate oil. I liked that it's fragrance-free (I don't like the typical cosmetic scent). At first, there was a slight medicinal smell, but it turned out to be fragrance-free as I continued using it. Since I've only used it for 9 days, I haven't noticed effects on wrinkles or whitening yet, but I think the benefits will show with more consistent use. Compared to the ointment-type Bepanthol I was using before, this is definitely more moisturizing and plumping. I intentionally applied Bepanthol on the left side and this Active Cream on the right side before bed, and the next day, the skin on the Active Cream side felt more supple and smooth. Great!
ConsSince I'm prone to clogged pores, I tend to prefer products with more moisture than oil. Considering this, the oiliness of this product is a bit disappointing for me. The heavy, oily feeling makes my skin feel stuffy. It's almost as if a film has been applied to my skin, if that makes sense. So when I use it before makeup, the makeup tends to slip. It's a shame that I can only use this as a night cream. Even though I'm already prone to clogged pores, during the 9 days of using this, the bumps have become more noticeable. When I properly hydrate my skin, the bumps are at least less prominent, but during the time I used this cream, the bumps just wouldn't go away...it's a bummer.
TipIn the end, I will be passing this product on to my extremely dry-skinned and non-clogged pore friend, after completing the Hwahae review. This is simply a case of the product not matching my skin type, not a fault of the product itself. I highly recommend this to those with extremely dry skin and non-clogged pores. Please, acne bumps, just go away...

I applied this product for a week after using a skin lotion, and it had a somewhat thick feel to it. The scent was almost odorless, with a faint hint of a medicinal smell, which was good for me as I don't like sweet fragrances. It's quite creamy, so it's good to apply in the evening.
ConsThe absorption is extremely slow! The Vichy Aqualia Thermal or Physiogel creams I used previously absorbed relatively quickly, but this product just sits on the surface for a long time before being absorbed. It leaves a white cast that lingers for a while.
TipIt seems best to thoroughly absorb the lotion first, then apply this product in small amounts, patting it into the skin with the palms of your hands.

When applied, there is a slight oily feeling, but the advantage is that it doesn't dry out easily. : ) I liked that the fragrance is not too strong. : )
ConsAlthough it has moisturizing properties, if you want a more moisturized, hydrated feeling, I would recommend a different formulation. :)
TipTo prevent the cream from sitting on the surface, it's a good idea to gently exfoliate with a cotton pad and toner first, then pat it in to help it absorb. : ) If the foundation you normally use doesn't have much oil, using them together may make your skin look a bit shiny. :) (Using a slightly matte foundation would be a good idea. : ))

As a dry-skinned person with an oily-dry complexion, I think it would suit those with oily skin well, as it has little oil content. I thought the scent was almost non-existent, like a familiar ointment-like fragrance. Being sensitive to smells, I had no aversion to it at all.
Cons1. Ingredients Looking at the full ingredient list, you can see that phenoxyethanol is included at the very end. Of course, since it is listed last, the concentration is likely very low. But the fact that this ingredient is present at all, even in a small amount, is something that makes me hesitant to use it. That's why I deducted one star. 2. Packaging As you can see in the photo, there is no aluminum seal, so once purchased, it has to be used right away. This means it's not possible to stock up on it during sales periods. However, the expiration date is 12 months, which is quite long. It's a tube-type packaging made of aluminum that you have to squeeze out. If you don't dispense it neatly from the start, as we all know, the packaging can tear or burst, and the contents can leak out, making it difficult to use economically. Some improvement in the packaging material seems necessary.
TipIt's important to apply it thinly. It's a bit thick, so you need to rub it in several times for it to absorb well. And since the packaging is made of aluminum, which is classified as a can, be sure to dispense it neatly from the end. That way, you can use it up economically without wasting any.

The scent is not particularly fragrant, but it's not unpleasant or overpowering either. As others have mentioned, I'm not sure about the chemical smell. When applied, there is an oily residue on the face, but it gets absorbed within about 5 minutes, leaving the skin feeling more supple. In the morning, the skin feels soft and smooth. I normally use a different cream, but this one seems to work better for me in the winter.
ConsI have dry skin with a slightly oily T-zone, so this worked well for me. But I'm not sure how it would perform for those with oily or acne-prone skin types.
