You know what I'm talking about, right? Many Korean shampoos tend to cause itching with continued use. Among domestic shampoos, this is arguably the best value for money. I've tried almost every shampoo out there, including French brands. My scalp doesn't itch, it lathers well even with a small amount, and cleanses thoroughly. I used to be a shampoo nomad, but I've finally settled on this one. I haven't found a better shampoo. The only product that comes close is the French Le Nefertiti Cooling Shampoo.
ConsThere's nothing to complain about. If I had to pick something, maybe the scent? But then again, poorly added fragrances can cause allergic reactions, which this doesn't... It's so good that I can't find any downsides to this shampoo.

The foam is rich and it feels refreshing.
ConsThe foam is too abundant and the scent is too strong. I opened the Hwahae app for the first time in years, and I'm really disappointed with the ingredients. How is this considered a natural product? The volume is quite large too... I regret not checking beforehand. It did feel cooling though...

It lathers well... It's not bad, but I wouldn't highly recommend it.
ConsSometimes on cold winter days like this, my scalp gets itchy.

So much so that you might wonder how it's even possible. Seems to have excellent cleansing effectiveness.
ConsEver since I started using this, I've been experiencing excessive hair loss and thinning. Is this really supposed to be a good product?

As someone who values shampoo fragrance, I must say the scent is delightful. It lathers up nicely too. After applying the foam to my scalp, there's a pleasantly cool and refreshing sensation that's slightly intense. It's potentially addictive!
ConsThere's nothing particularly negative to mention. Once you try this argan oil shampoo, you'll find yourself reaching for it again and again.
TipWhen I use this product, I find that my hair becomes so shiny and manageable that I don't even need to use conditioner. It's that good!

My scalp tends to be sensitive, and when I use shampoos that don't suit me, I often get a lot of dead skin cells on my scalp. But when I wash my hair with this shampoo, it gets incredibly clean, and almost all the flakes disappear! Plus, it lathers up really well, which I think contributes to its great cleansing power!
ConsFirstly, after washing, my hair feels extremely dry and straw-like. It's absolutely essential to use conditioner or a treatment after using this shampoo. Secondly, after learning about Hwahae and checking the ingredients, I was disappointed to find out that they're not very good for your hair.
TipAs I mentioned earlier, on days when my scalp is itchy and has a lot of flakes, using this for a pre-wash really helps wash everything away! I usually start with a small amount for a quick initial wash, then follow up with a thorough second wash. This routine leaves my scalp completely free of dead skin cells!

I bought this at a department store because it was supposed to be a high-quality shampoo. However, when I checked Hwahae, I found out the ingredients are really not great. The staff promoted it like it was something amazing. It's so frustrating!
ConsI had clear skin with hardly any blemishes until my early 20s. Even at my worst, I'd have less than 5 spots. But a couple of months after using this shampoo, I started getting over 30 blemishes behind my ears, on my chest, back, and all over my face. It was a cycle of some clearing up and new ones appearing. I was so confused that I went to a dermatologist. They told me it was an allergic reaction to the shampoo manifesting as acne-like bumps. They advised me to switch shampoos. When I looked it up on Hwahae, I found it's full of problematic ingredients. The dermatologist recommended Zeroid Cleansing Gel, but I need to toss this shampoo and switch immediately. I also have Suaviss Root Nourishing Shampoo, but that has AHA which is even worse. Just a heads up... If it can wreak havoc on my normally non-sensitive skin... For reference, I also used Aromatica Tea Tree Shampoo for over 6 months, but it caused blemishes behind my ears too. I don't recommend it. Remember, your scalp and face are connected - there's no real boundary. Imagine using this shampoo as a facial cleanser - it would be a disaster!
TipI recommend Ato'gel Baby Bath and Shampoo for hair care. For body products, try Doctorbio Body Shower and Emulsion. They have 100% good ingredients. I hope you can quickly move on from this terrible product.

It produces a fine, rich lather. Perhaps due to the menthol ingredient, it works hard to remove all the grime and buildup. However, it does leave my hair feeling really dry.
ConsI'm worried because this shampoo has made my hair so dry and brittle. Even with treatments, it's still so dehydrated. Ironically, my hair felt less dry when I used cheap Pantene. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone who cares about shampoo fragrance either. The scent is really unpleasant. It was a gift, so I feel bad about throwing it away, and the large size makes me worry about how long it'll take to use up. I was surprised to see the price after looking it up, considering how disappointing I find it. I absolutely do not recommend this for dry or super sensitive scalps. It might work well for those with oily scalps, but for me, it's the worst. I'm almost scared to wash my hair now. Right after using it, my forehead and scalp started itching, and I developed some blemishes. It's quite harsh, so you need to rinse thoroughly at the end.
TipDue to its harsh nature, make sure to rinse thoroughly.

The scent is refreshingly familiar - a lovely blend of floral and cool herbal notes. The cooling effect on my scalp during massage is incredible! This is what I love most about it. It reminds me of that stress-relieving sensation you get during a scalp treatment at the salon. I'm really enjoying that feeling with this shampoo.
ConsThe downside is that it contains surfactants. Apparently, it's marketed as natural in department stores? Seems like the staff might not be fully informed. Suaviss themselves have stated they include surfactants for thorough cleansing and a satisfying lather. I used natural shampoos before, but missed that deep clean feeling, so I chose this knowingly. After using natural products, this makes my scalp and hair feel squeaky clean. It's refreshing, but I feel like I'd be in trouble without using conditioner or treatment afterwards.
TipI don't stick to just one shampoo. Just like how we adjust our skincare based on skin condition and season, I find it beneficial to do the same with shampoo. I've been using Le Quillaia Pure Ten as my main shampoo, alternating with Innisfree Mint and Aromatica Rosemary shampoos. Now that I've finished Pure Ten, I'm primarily using Aromatica Rosemary, with occasional use of this Suaviss Argan Scalp Care shampoo. I find this combination works well. While I mainly use natural shampoos, I've found there are some dead skin cells and excess oils that natural products alone can't tackle. That's when products like this come in handy. Also, instead of quickly lathering and rinsing, try massaging for about 3 minutes and leaving it on briefly before thoroughly rinsing. This tip from a scalp care specialist has been really helpful!

It feels incredibly light and refreshing, though I couldn't really tell from the texture if it contains a lot of argan oil as claimed.
ConsFor a scalp care product, this shampoo keeps leaving white flakes on my scalp, similar to dandruff. They fall off excessively while drying my hair, and if I don't shake them out thoroughly, it looks like I have dandruff. It seems to focus so much on being lightweight that it provides almost no hydration. Because of this, even when I only half-dry my hair with a blow dryer, the ends feel damaged unless I use a hair oil.
TipMake sure to take good care of your hair ends with a hair mask! A hair essence is a must!
