It provides a transparent and clear color payoff that doesn't become cakey or too intense. You might have wondered if it's worth the price, but compared to other blushers, you'll fall in love with Cheek Pop's unique watercolor-like hues that melt into your skin. It definitely has merits in terms of pigmentation and texture. I have a winter cool tone strong type with neutral skin that leans yellow, and thanks to the clear color that builds up beautifully even after multiple applications, it was perfect for creating a pretty lavender-pink makeup look! Pansy Pop is a medium-brightness, high-chroma lavender blusher. While many review photos show it as very purple, on the face it's actually about 70-80% cool pink, resulting in a light purple-pink shade! As you layer it, the color intensity increases without becoming muddy, so it might be a bit challenging for dark or mute tones. I'd recommend it for summer cool light, summer cool true, winter cool bright, and strong types. Pansy Pop, being a lavender shade, will definitely suit those with a cooler undertone better than those with a more neutral complexion. The pigmentation allows for thin, light layering, creating a natural 'barely-there' look that all cool-toned individuals can utilize well! Looking at the swatch, even though I've layered it heavily with my finger, you can see the sophisticated pearl finish and how it blurs beautifully without being excessive. Notice how the color remains clear in the photo despite multiple applications? This is absolutely my holy grail blusher!
ConsThe color payoff tends to be weak with most standard blush brushes on the market. While I recommend using a sponge puff, if you prefer brushes, you might want to use one with dense, even bristles.
TipFor cushion puffs, dab the product onto the puff, then start patting it onto your skin from where you want the most color, blending outwards to soften the edges. For layering, keep tapping and repeating until you achieve your desired intensity. Puffs and sponges give much better color payoff than brushes, so always test on the back of your hand first!

When I apply the cool-toned shade, it brightens my complexion. Among the purple shades, this one has a more intense saturation. Instead of applying it all over, I use it as a subtle accent after applying a softer lavender base. Initially, before using the light purple, I would apply it like a watercolor wash all over and then add an extra layer for emphasis. But after purchasing another product in a very light purple shade, I now use this one solely as an accent.
ConsIt's a bit disappointing that it doesn't come with a brush like Benefit's products do, but it's fine since I don't usually use brushes anyway. I apply it with my fingers. The color payoff is good.

The color payoff is beautiful and it lasts really well on the skin.
ConsWith the pan-type blush, you need to be careful with the amount you apply. If you use too much, it can look quite unnatural, so make sure to control the quantity well.

The color payoff is great, so you don't need to apply multiple layers, which is a plus.
ConsIf you have blemish-prone skin, it might emphasize redness around troubled areas, making them more noticeable. I wouldn't recommend this for those with redness issues as it could exacerbate the appearance. Also, if you carry the blush around, there's a small chance it might detach from the case if dropped or if you happen to get a product with weaker adhesion.
TipIf applied heavily, gently patting over it with a light layer of foundation or cushion can actually help the color blend more naturally, minimizing any drawbacks and creating a beautiful finish. When using a brush, opt for a smaller blush brush rather than a large powder brush to prevent over-application and achieve a more natural, subtle color. For a more intense look, build up the color with 2-3 layers. Using a puff can result in more vibrant color payoff. If your eye area isn't sensitive (note that this is a blush and hasn't undergone eye safety testing), you can use it as an eyeshadow for a cohesive, natural makeup look. Matching your eye color to your blush can elevate your overall makeup game. In case the blush pan separates from the compact, you can reattach it using adhesive.

ConsIt seems to clash a bit with lighter undertones, which is a bit disappointing.

I don't wear foundation, so I'm not sure about my shade number... Anyway, I have a light, presumably cool-toned skin, and this is my holy grail blush!!! I saw all these unique colors at Olive Young... I tried it on my cheeks thinking I'd remove it right away when I got home, but it adhered so well that I bought it on the spot! It really gives a high-intensity, clear pink color that I absolutely love!! The fact that it applies sheer is both a pro and a con!
ConsI checked on Hwahae and the ingredients aren't great... Also, the color payoff is a bit weak so you need to layer it, but I didn't find it too inconvenient!

The color payoff is fantastic, giving a vibrant, lively look. It applies with a clear, soft, and luminous finish.
ConsIt's a bit disappointing that it seems to fade away quickly. Using a puff is definitely better than applying with fingers or a brush.

I've emptied several containers - it's my holy grail! The watercolor-like pigmentation reminds me of Clinique's Cheek Pop line. If you enjoy subtle, sheer color, you'll love this!
ConsThe pigmentation is quite weak, and the case seems flimsy. The blush always separates from its container.

Color: At first glance, I thought the purplish tint and high saturation might be too intense for my light grayish undertone. However, when applied lightly, it creates a beautifully natural, flushed look. Cool-toned individuals of any shade can achieve a pretty result by adjusting the application. Application: The color builds up transparently with each layer, making it easy to control the intensity. This makes it suitable for beginners too. It blends seamlessly into the skin, looking natural without appearing heavy. The subtle shimmer brightens the complexion and gives a translucent effect to the skin. I usually avoid shimmery blushes due to concerns about them making my skin look messy, but the fine particles in this product actually make my skin look better.
ConsThe baked formula requires using a puff or a dense brush, which can be slightly inconvenient. However, once applied, the beautiful result makes you forget about this minor drawback.
TipFor those who prefer a matte finish, have a light undertone, or are grayish like me, try applying this product first, then layer a milky blush like A'pieu Pastel Blush VL02 around the edges. This creates an even more velvety and beautiful look.

ConsNothing really, except it's relatively pricey. However, the satisfaction level is high.
