The color payoff is transparent and clear, without becoming cakey or overly deep. You may have wondered if this product is worth the price, but once you experience the watercolor-like blending of the Cheek Pop's unique shade, you'll be hooked. The formula and pigmentation are certainly impressive for the price point. As a cool-toned, neutral-skinned individual with a strong, winter complexion, the lavender-pink hue built up beautifully on my cheeks, creating a lovely, fresh-faced makeup look. The Pansy Pop blush is a medium-to-high intensity lavender shade, though photos often make it appear more purple than it actually is on the face - it's more of a cool-toned pink-lavender. The color does build up in intensity with layering, but maintains a non-powdery, seamless finish. This shade may work best for those with cooler complexions, like summer cool-toned light, true, and bright/strong winter skin tones. Overall, the Cheek Pops, especially the lavender-leaning Pansy Pop, are excellent blush options that provide a luminous, natural-looking flush of color, well-suited for cool-toned skin types.
ConsMost standard blush brushes have relatively weak pigmentation. I would recommend a sponge puff, but if you prefer a brush, you'll need to use one with dense, numerous bristles.
TipWith the cushion puff, gently dab and press the product onto your face, starting from the focal points and blending outwards towards the edges in a smudging motion. For layering, lightly dab on the product until you achieve your desired coverage and intensity. Puffs and sponges tend to provide better color payoff compared to brushes, so be sure to test on the back of your hand first.

The color payoff is great, so I don't need to apply it multiple times, which I really liked.
ConsFor troubled skin, applying it can actually accentuate the troubled areas by making them appear more reddened. I also don't recommend it for those with rosacea, as it can enhance the redness. When carrying the blush around, you may accidentally drop it or, in rare cases, the blush can become loosely attached to the case and detach.
TipIf you apply it too heavily, you can lightly dab on some foundation or cushion to make the color appear more natural and prevent the flaws from standing out. It looked really pretty! When using a brush, use a blush-specific brush rather than a powder brush to prevent the blush from being applied too broadly. Applying it with a brush gives a more natural, subtle color payoff. You can build up the intensity by applying 2-3 layers. Using a puff can give you a more intense color payoff. For those without sensitive eyes (since it's a blush and hasn't undergone eye safety testing), you can use it as an eyeshadow for a sultry, natural makeup look. Coordinating the eye and blush colors can really elevate the overall makeup. If the blush becomes detached, you can reattach it using a small amount of adhesive.

ConsThe longevity is disappointing Especially when wearing a mask, it just rubs off onto the mask And it seems to spread and seep into the entire face? The flushed look on the cheeks has disappeared and my whole face looks reddened But this may be because it doesn't suit my skin tone I bought it based on the recommendation of a personal color analysis company, but when I apply it, it makes me look too flushed (21C summer cool pale tone, with reddish skin)

I recommend this to those who want a seamless, natural-looking blush.
ConsI have some redness, so I usually prefer lavender colors with a more opaque coverage, but this product actually accentuates the redness. It swatches much more burgundy-toned on my face than the soft lavender I was expecting. Unfortunately, this color just doesn't work for me.

For cool-toned skin, this is a vibrant and striking option! Unlike the bold and deep base color, it applies as a lovely lavender on the skin without any sense of incongruity. It's not a pure purple, but more of a 90% purple and 10% pink blend. The formula is on the firmer side, which is great as it prevents any powdery fallout. For those with redness, this shade blends nicely with the redness, appearing more of a pink tone. It also seems to help counteract redness well.
ConsNot really any downsides. If I had to nitpick, maybe it could be a bit tricky to use as an eyeshadow.

I'm a 22 shade summer cool-toned person. I bought the Clinique blush because it's so famous, and I don't regret it at all. I usually use powder-type blushes, and this was my first time trying a baked type. The formula and application were really different. The baked type doesn't have any powder fallout. Powder types apply and show up as you apply them, so you have to be careful with the amount, but this one has a slight sheen and applies softly and naturally (of course, it gets more intense if you layer it). It doesn't clump up, so it's a good formula for beginners to control. It seems to work well with brushes that can pick up the color well or have a slightly firm shape, rather than fluffy brushes. A sponge works well too. The color is a purple-pink. It has more saturation than a muted purple, so it gives a nice flush of color.
ConsI like lavender-pink blushes because I have redness, but Pansy Pop is a bit too high in saturation to help with the redness. It's definitely not a muted, whitened purple blush. Over time, it starts to pull a bit more red. It's expensive, so it's a burden for students. The case is weak, so the blush can fall out. If you drop it, it's just over.

Compared to other drugstore products, everything about it is superior. There's no powdery fallout, and the application and especially the adherence are really good. The staying power is also quite good - I applied it around 7:20 am and it only faded a little by after 5 pm, staying almost intact. The color is also great - I can assure you that any fair-skinned ladies who buy this will find it to be a holy grail product.
ConsIf I had to nitpick, it would be the case... it's a bit flimsy, but not inconvenient. And the color payoff - you have to be careful, as just a little bit more can make you look like a baked sweet potato.
TipModeration is key! Don't be heavy-handed, just apply it lightly and it'll be perfect.

I was pleasantly surprised at how smoothly it applies without any powdery fallout or clumping. It absorbs into my skin seamlessly without any patchiness, which is why I now understand the hype around Clinique's Cheek Pops. As a cool-toned person, most shades tend to suit me well, and even some warmer spring shades (excluding orange-based ones) work for me. I really loved the Pansy Pop shade, but I find that layering it over a slightly paler blush first creates an even prettier look.
Cons1. The case is quite flimsy for the price point I wish the case was more sturdy. It has the same material as a regular eyeshadow compact, so it feels like it could easily crack or break.
TipFor those of you who find Pansy Pop a bit flat on its own, try layering it over a paler blush first - it creates a really lovely, dimensional flush!

It blends really nicely on top of foundation without disturbing or moving the foundation underneath. It's such a lovely blush! Whether you apply it with a brush or a sponge, the blush looks gorgeous. The color may look a bit too purple in the pan, but when applied on the cheeks, it comes across as a soft pink that is so flattering on cool-toned skin.
ConsWhile I didn't experience any breakouts from using this, it does contain quite a few questionable ingredients.

ConsIf I had to say, it's best to buy when the price is discounted even a little bit
TipThe initial coated fabric may make the color payoff a bit difficult, but you can use it after rubbing it several times
