For those with extremely oily skin among oily skin types: I urgently needed sunscreen, so I rushed into the first Etude House store I saw and bought this product on sale, intending to use it only once or twice. Honestly, I was quite surprised. As described, it's a sunscreen that doubles as a makeup base, naturally brightening my skin from shade 23 to 21. I thought it wouldn't be too overwhelming to wear on its own. This made me realize what they mean by 'natural brightening'. Maybe because I bought it without expectations, but I ended up loving this sunscreen way more than I anticipated! After being outside for about 4 hours and returning home, I noticed the staying power had decreased. More importantly, the oil production was not just noticeable, but quite excessive. While it's true that my extremely oily skin requires powder with any product I use, even with powder applied as usual, the visible oil buildup was significant. The way it broke down wasn't graceful either, leaving my skin looking more greasy than glowy. If you have oily skin, I definitely recommend using this and following up with powder or a setting spray! Personally, I found using a setting spray to be particularly effective, giving a sense of the makeup being locked in place. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinJan 13, 2019
I absolutely recommend this! As someone with combination skin, it's been hard to find a sunscreen that works for me. I tried this one without much expectation, but I'm already nearly finished with my fifth bottle! When I only apply this, the staying power is poor and it causes significant darkening of the skin. If you're just using the sunscreen alone, I found it works better if you dust some powder over it after application! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinApr 3, 2018
If you're looking for a subtle tone correction on blemish-free skin, this product allows for a truly beautiful and natural-looking complexion. When I go out wearing it, everyone compliments my skin. Compared to other sunscreens, it doesn't leave my face excessively shiny. The staying power... On dusty days, it feels a bit unpleasant to reapply over a face covered in particles. Rather than saying it breaks down, it feels like it disappears without a trace... - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinDec 16, 2017
I usually can't use just any sunscreen, but this one seems to fit me perfectly. It seems to work really well for my dry skin - it's moisturizing and has a nice, powdery finish! The sunscreen does apply moisturizing and powdery, but it doesn't seem to have very good staying power...
