1. Even though I chose the less whitening option of the two types, it still significantly brightens the skin. The brightening effect is definitely noticeable. 2. It applies smoothly without pilling (the texture is similar to sunscreen) and quickly leaves the skin feeling velvety. 3. Since it's a makeup base, it seems to provide a slight skin-perfecting effect as well. 4. It maintains its initial state for about 4 hours. 1. The product itself has a BB cream color, but when applied, it gives a slightly grayish, dull white appearance. 2. If you only use this product, your face might look too ghostly. To achieve a more natural look, you need to mix it with an emulsion or other products. 3. It breaks down suddenly all at once. If you apply it in the morning, by lunchtime it becomes very oily. Mixing ratio: Emulsion to brightening moisturizer = 2:3 - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinMay 15, 2019
1. Works well for dry and super sensitive skin 2. No eye irritation 3. Naturally evens skin tone 4. High sun protection factor 5. Affordable price 6. Absorbs reasonably well 1. Seems to have been discontinued recently when I tried to purchase it... 2. Insufficient for cleansing with foam cleanser alone. (Double cleansing is necessary, but it was generally fine since I always do a double cleanse after applying sunscreen and makeup) - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinFeb 27, 2019
I love how it leaves my skin feeling soft and powdery. My complexion tends to be a bit dull and dark, but this product evens my skin tone beautifully. The lasting power is excellent! If you don't moisturize adequately in your skincare routine, you might experience some deep dryness. Apart from needing to be thorough with your base skincare, there's not really anything else to complain about. - Hwahae UserDry SkinJan 20, 2019
It leaves my skin feeling soft and fresh, with great staying power! I love that it also evens out my skin tone. Hmm, I'm not quite sure, but as someone with dry skin, I found it a bit drying when I used it in winter. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinOct 17, 2018
The subtle white cast allows for a natural complexion correction The matte finish might not work for extremely dry skin, but those with normal to dry skin should be able to use it Like most Etude skincare products, if you apply your base products carefully and exfoliate dead skin cells before use, your skin will look as smooth and beautiful as a peeled egg - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSep 17, 2018
It naturally evens out skin tone, so I found that applying it before foundation creates a more natural look. It's an excellent sunscreen for summer use. As the weather has gotten a bit chilly recently (writing this in mid-September), I think a more hydrating organic sunscreen would be better than this one. Firstly, if you want to apply this product on a dry day, I recommend making your base skincare routine a bit more hydrating to prevent dead skin cells from flaking. Secondly, the volume is 50g (not a lot). I purchased it during a buy-one-get-one-free promotion. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinAug 19, 2018
I'm a student who originally had oily skin that was super greasy even in winter without any dryness. But due to neglecting skincare and barely using any basic products, I developed combination dehydrated skin. This sunscreen has a tone-correcting effect, so I was quite surprised at how white it was at first. However, if you keep patting it in or use a puff, it becomes more natural-looking. It's labeled as both a makeup base and sunscreen, and the actual color is slightly pinkish or light red. So instead of just leaving a white cast, it gives a somewhat brighter, radiant effect. Despite my combination skin, I still prefer matte products due to my oiliness, and this one is truly powder-smooth! I love it! While I like how powder-smooth it is, it feels a bit stiff? That's the only downside I noticed. When applying, try using a damp puff, misting your face, or using a hydrating setting spray to help with the stiffness. Give that a try! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinApr 3, 2018
If you're looking for a subtle tone correction on blemish-free skin, this product allows for a truly beautiful and natural-looking complexion. When I go out wearing it, everyone compliments my skin. Compared to other sunscreens, it doesn't leave my face excessively shiny. The staying power... On dusty days, it feels a bit unpleasant to reapply over a face covered in particles. Rather than saying it breaks down, it feels like it disappears without a trace... - Hwahae UserCombination SkinOct 25, 2017
1. Whitening Effect - When applied, it becomes incredibly white, and it's not just a temporary whitening effect, but a whitening-like effect that lasts a bit longer, so even if you just apply this once a day, it can help balance your skin tone. 2. Oil-free - When applied, it doesn't become overly shiny or greasy, but just the right amount. I wanted a bit more of a matte finish, so I lightly dusted it with a brush. 1. When applied on the cheeks, it makes the area look blackish. The nose area tends to break down. 2. If you don't do peeling (exfoliation), the skin looks dirty :( 3. You need to apply about half a finger's worth of sunscreen, but if you apply that much, it makes the skin look too white and ashy :( 4. It's a bit thick, and if you apply a lot, it can feel heavy. There are two ways to apply it - with your hands or with a puff. - I don't apply it with my hands... They say that sponge puffs like the ones used for BB creams absorb the moisture from the sunscreen, so it's best to avoid those. That's why I use the puff that comes with my cushion compact! Instead of letting the sponge puff soak up the moisture, I just pat it on one more time with the cushion puff, and I find that it absorbs into my skin better that way :) - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinOct 4, 2017
The tone was naturally adjusted, which was great. There was no acne either. The scent was too strong and there was too much oil. When applying the same amount as other sunscreens, it became too white, so it's a bit disappointing that I had to apply it the size of a 50-won coin to look natural. It's better to apply about the size of a 50-won coin and use powder to control the oil. It's better to apply with a puff rather than with your hands.
