I loved how it wasn't too oily, allowing for a matte finish without any shine. It might be too low in oil content for those with dry skin, potentially causing flakiness and dead skin cells to appear. As someone with combination skin, I'd recommend mixing it with a bit of essence or toner for dry areas, and applying it as is on oilier parts for best results. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinMay 11, 2019
This product is absolutely amazing! It's perfect for my super oily T-zone, leaving my forehead and nose wonderfully matte. I'm so thrilled! Since my skin became ultra-sensitive, I couldn't wear foundation, so I've been using this every day. It's fantastic... It keeps me matte, and with just a touch of powder, the staying power is incredible. I love how it brightens my complexion too. What's really impressive is that a sunscreen can provide coverage - it's mind-blowing! While it doesn't fully conceal, it does an excellent job at covering light blemishes. I highly recommend everyone to try this! If you apply more than two layers, it tends to pill a bit. Also, it's disappointing that even on powdered areas, when oil comes through, it can bunch up and separate. Since it's a mattifying product, layering it can make your skin feel quite dry. For best results, don't apply too much of your emulsion. Instead, apply it lightly for hydration, then gently pat this sunscreen on with a puff. This technique really helps achieve that matte finish. The more you pat with the puff, the better the staying power. Plus, applying with a puff seems to enhance its coverage! - Hwahae UserDry SkinApr 26, 2019
I love how it applies smoothly without feeling greasy, even when used alone. The natural brightening effect and clean finish are so appealing that I'm on my umpteenth bottle. There's not really anything to complain about, except that the scent can be a bit bothersome at times. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinSensitive SkinFeb 15, 2019
I loved how it left my skin feeling fresh and matte without any greasiness. The natural brightening effect was great too. Plus, it was more affordable than I expected and came in a generous amount! I have extremely sensitive skin, so I'm really prone to reactions. After about a week of use, I noticed some redness and what looked like dark, raised blemishes on my face. It might be best to use this product with caution if you have super sensitive skin like mine. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinSep 2, 2018
I've unintentionally been using somewhat oily sunscreens until now, but discovering this one has been a game-changer. Despite the limited reviews, I was skeptical at first, but it seems to have all the features I need rolled into one product. First off, it's non-greasy and leaves your skin feeling fresh and matte. It seems perfectly optimized for oily skin types. If you feel like you need more hydration, I'd recommend either amping up your skincare routine or using a more moisturizing base product. The skin tone correction is impressive. Instead of an unnatural white cast, it has a sort of apricot tint that gives your skin a natural, slightly pink-toned brightness. As someone who often can't be bothered with makeup, I find that on lazy days, just this sunscreen and a lip tint is enough to look presentable. It also doesn't transfer easily. The sun protection and staying power are excellent too. I wore only this for a day at the beach and it held up wonderfully. Even after playing in the sea, my skin still looked bright, and I didn't look as disheveled as I'd expected. For reference, I don't have particularly resilient skin - I've had acne breakouts from using the A'pieu Tension Pact Perfect Cover, but I had no issues with this sunscreen. Good staying power = difficult to remove. This is more a matter of preference than a real drawback, but it does feel like it leaves residue on the skin when using just a cleansing foam. I use cleansing oil to remove it thoroughly. Also, some people have mentioned the scent, but I didn't find it unpleasant at all. To me, it just smelled sweet. I think this might vary from person to person. Apply after a thorough skincare routine. Use after exfoliating dead skin cells. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinApr 3, 2018
Unlike other sunscreens that tend to be greasy when they have a brightening effect, this product offers excellent tone-evening benefits without feeling oily. Amazingly, when I apply it in the morning, the brightening effect is still visible when I get home in the evening, right up until I cleanse! I keep repurchasing and using it. Even though I have super sensitive skin, I haven't experienced any irritation or blemishes from this product. It leaves a soft, matte finish, making it perfect for those who want a one-step skincare routine or for students. I highly recommend it! There's not really anything to complain about. It's not expensive, and it lasts quite a while. Instead of applying it haphazardly like regular sunscreen, it's best to apply it as you would foundation for a flawless complexion. Of course, you'll need to be thorough with cleansing afterwards. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinApr 3, 2018
If you're looking for a subtle tone correction on blemish-free skin, this product allows for a truly beautiful and natural-looking complexion. When I go out wearing it, everyone compliments my skin. Compared to other sunscreens, it doesn't leave my face excessively shiny. The staying power... On dusty days, it feels a bit unpleasant to reapply over a face covered in particles. Rather than saying it breaks down, it feels like it disappears without a trace... - Hwahae UserCombination SkinOct 25, 2017
1. Whitening Effect - When applied, it becomes incredibly white, and it's not just a temporary whitening effect, but a whitening-like effect that lasts a bit longer, so even if you just apply this once a day, it can help balance your skin tone. 2. Oil-free - When applied, it doesn't become overly shiny or greasy, but just the right amount. I wanted a bit more of a matte finish, so I lightly dusted it with a brush. 1. When applied on the cheeks, it makes the area look blackish. The nose area tends to break down. 2. If you don't do peeling (exfoliation), the skin looks dirty :( 3. You need to apply about half a finger's worth of sunscreen, but if you apply that much, it makes the skin look too white and ashy :( 4. It's a bit thick, and if you apply a lot, it can feel heavy. There are two ways to apply it - with your hands or with a puff. - I don't apply it with my hands... They say that sponge puffs like the ones used for BB creams absorb the moisture from the sunscreen, so it's best to avoid those. That's why I use the puff that comes with my cushion compact! Instead of letting the sponge puff soak up the moisture, I just pat it on one more time with the cushion puff, and I find that it absorbs into my skin better that way :) - Hwahae UserDry SkinAug 20, 2017
I don't do separate skin makeup, so I specifically chose this whitening sunscreen. For me, it doesn't get oily and finishes matte, and it becomes more natural-looking over time. It also helps cover blackheads and things like that a bit because of the whitening effect. While the whitening is good, I can't really apply the proper amount because of that. When my skin condition is bad, it can sometimes cause flakiness. And the scent is a bit strong... You have to be careful not to layer it too much. When I apply extra, my skin feels a bit stiff and it's hard to spread. I think it's causing me a bit of trouble too. It doesn't seem to be a very gentle formula. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinJul 26, 2017
With the basic base makeup, my skin tone is lifted by one shade and the oiliness is perfectly controlled. If the oil around my nose and mouth area is not completely removed, it becomes emphasized and looks patchy. Before using, I applied skin toner and a more moisturizing and oily lotion, and then put on sunscreen, so it didn't feel dry and it controlled the oiliness well.
