I've attached a photo, but please be aware it might be a bit graphic. My cheeks were always red, but after applying this cream generously before bed, I'd wake up to see the redness significantly reduced. I've almost finished the jar now, and my complexion has become much more stable. It seems to work wonders for blemishes too. Whenever I feel a small pimple coming up, I apply a thick layer of this cream like it's a spot treatment. After a few days, it gradually subsides and disappears. While its hydration might not be as intense as Cicative Calcium, it's clear that its soothing properties are more prominent than its moisturizing effects. If your skin is feeling particularly sensitive or your skin condition isn't great, try using it as an overnight mask. Apply it generously before bed, and you'll likely notice a significant improvement in your skin's condition the next morning. Personally, I've seen amazing results with closed comedones. My skin was in terrible shape at one point. I tried using Stridex (the red box) for daily exfoliation and slathering on Aromatica's aloe gel, thinking closed comedones were caused by dead skin cells and dehydration. But instead of improving, it just got worse. I bought this cream on a whim because it was cheap, intending to use it as an emulsion. But the results were incredible. As you can see in the photo, my entire cheeks were covered in closed comedones that wouldn't pop. I'd heard that whiteheads were sebum plugs trapped by dead skin cells, so I tried managing it with Stridex, but it didn't help. Stridex is expensive and needs to be imported, so I did some research and found a much cheaper alternative available in Korean pharmacies called Cleartin. It has the same ingredients as Stridex. I used Cleartin for exfoliation and this cream instead of aloe gel. After a few months of consistent use, my skin improved dramatically! As you can see in the photo, the bumps have subsided, and the red marks are just scars from previous breakouts. I really hope this combination of Cleartin and this cream can help those struggling with deep, unpoppable blemishes or closed comedones. I bought the Aromatica aloe gel after reading reviews saying it was good for closed comedones, but it didn't work for me at all!
ConsWhile Cicative Calcium has a soft texture that absorbs well into the skin, this zinc cream doesn't feel like it absorbs as effectively. It's fine if you apply a small amount, but if you use too much, it doesn't seem to sink in. Instead of absorbing, it feels more like it's sitting on top of your skin, almost like a mask. The texture is soft but slightly thick, which makes it a bit challenging to use as a moisturizer before makeup. It can leave a white cast, especially if it gets into your eyebrows. While the residue does eventually disappear, I wouldn't recommend using it in the morning before applying makeup unless you use an extremely thin layer. My suggestion would be to use Cicative Calcium in the morning, and save this zinc cream for nighttime use, as a spot treatment for blemishes, or as an overnight mask when your skin is red and irritated. That's when it seems to be most effective.
TipThis product works best when used: - On reddened skin - As a spot treatment on areas with blemishes - Applied generously all over the face when your skin condition isn't great If you have very dry skin, I'd recommend Cicative Calcium. For those with dry but sensitive skin, try using Calcium in the morning and this zinc cream at night as a sleeping mask. This approach seems to yield the best results.

The recent harsh winds left my face swollen, red, and my eyes so puffy I could barely open them. It was truly awful, with an explosion of tiny blemishes! I tried using hydrating masks and soothing gels for relief, but the effects were only temporary. After a short while, the itching, redness, and swelling would return. This miserable state lasted for three days... I couldn't even wear makeup because my face hurt so much, so I had to wear a mask for those three days. Then I remembered I had some samples of a zinc cream with Madecassoside (the Madecassoside cream itself didn't work well for me). The sample said it was good for soothing skin, so last night I applied it generously before bed (applying so much made it hard to absorb, and I looked like a ghost!). But when I looked in the mirror this morning, I was shocked! The redness had calmed down, the swelling had reduced significantly, and my skin looked much more soothed! It really works wonders for sensitive, burning, inflamed skin like mine! I ended up buying the full-size product because I loved it so much! I've added a photo for reference.
ConsIt seems this should only be applied at night when sleeping... It doesn't absorb well, so applying it before makeup would be disastrous. You'll look like a ghost! Also, when I applied too much around my chin area, it seemed to clog my pores and cause more tiny blemishes to appear (probably due to the zinc oxide). So I'm planning to avoid applying it on my chin area! Oh, and while it seems okay for pustular acne, it doesn't seem very effective for those tiny bumps.
TipApplying this to red, inflamed areas before bed works amazingly well! It seems to really help reduce redness.

If you want to use it as a cream, you need to apply only a tiny amount. When your face feels hot and red, apply a thick layer of this product all over, then rinse it off after a while. Amazingly, it calms your skin down quickly!
ConsThis product is more like a wash-off mask than a cream! If you want to use it as a cream, you need to apply only a tiny amount. The biggest drawback is that this point isn't explained in detail on the packaging. If you apply it like a regular cream, it doesn't absorb at all.

However, when A'pieu released three cica creams at such a reasonable price, I couldn't resist my curiosity! So I bought it, but I don't use it as a regular cream. Instead, I use it as a mask when my skin feels sensitive or when blemishes appear. The soothing effect is remarkable - you can actually see the results even when used as a mask. Zinc oxide has antiseptic and anti-inflammatory properties, which reminds me of the zinc cream once recommended by dermatologists. That memory prompted me to buy this and use it as a mask... and I love it!
ConsIs it possible to use this as a regular cream? The white cast seems severe, so I doubt it would absorb well, and it might emphasize dead skin cells... The instructions say to use a small amount, but I question whether such a small quantity can provide the full benefits of a cream.
TipSince it has a strong white cast and contains pore-clogging ingredients, I have no complaints using it as a mask. I bought it intending to use it as a mask from the start. When blemishes appear or your skin feels sensitive, try applying it thickly like a mask. The effects were quite good! As I use it as a mask, I wash it off and finish with my regular skincare routine.
