It's a beautiful orange nude shade that's perfect for everyday wear. Although it's matte, it doesn't excessively highlight dead skin cells. The packaging doesn't even look like typical Missha - it's so pretty! The transparent lid is fantastic, allowing you to instantly check the color.
ConsThe scent... well, it wasn't exactly my preferred fragrance. But honestly, that's about the only drawback I could find!

At first glance, they might look identical, but there's a noticeable difference when applied. I initially bought BBIA's 'Sensual' hoping for a natural lip color, but it had such a pale undertone that people asked if I was feeling unwell when I wore it out! Unintentional patient cosplay, I guess. However, the Missha one has a lovely coral tint that looks vibrant and incredibly natural. It's exactly the color I was hoping for when I bought BBIA's 'Sensual'. It doesn't make me look sickly at all, so I often reach for it when I'm going bare-faced or want to add a subtle touch to my eye makeup. If you're like me and have been searching for a natural shade but haven't had much luck, or if you've been hesitating about this product, don't hold back - go for it! It's also beautiful when used as a base and layered with other tints or lipsticks. Highly recommended!
ConsWhile I was satisfied with both the color and design, there was one disappointing aspect - the lipstick tends to smudge easily on the outer surface and cap. Unfortunately, the cap is transparent, so even a small smudge makes it look messy, which bothers me. Apart from this issue, considering it's a matte lipstick, it doesn't emphasize dead skin cells too much, and I really love the color!
TipFor those with dry lips and severe dead skin cells who've been hesitant to use lipsticks, I understand your struggle. I'm no stranger to lip flakiness myself. That's why I make sure to apply lip balm before bed, after waking up, and throughout the day. The most crucial tip is to avoid rubbing the lipstick on harshly - we all know that can cause dead skin cells to flake up, right? Instead of forcefully rubbing it on, try gently patting the color onto your lips. You'll achieve a beautiful finish without irritation. As for lip balms, I use a tube-type Himalaya lip balm in the morning and evening. During the day, I carry around a stick-type Uriage lip balm. Hope this helps!

I usually go for pink/red lip colors, so when I first received Merry Da Brown, I was worried the salmon color wouldn't suit me. But I gave it my all for this review. While my review may not be perfect, I hope it can be of some help to others. 1. Color payoff The product itself comes in a sleek, beautiful case, and the hint of salmon/coral color peeking through is gorgeous. One application didn't show much, but after two or three layers, it appeared more salmon than brown on me, despite the name. It toned down my lips from my usual look, and I found it paired nicely with a red lip color applied to the inner part of my lips. The difference might not be obvious in photos, but I've attached some anyway. 2. Application Since it's a matte lip product, I applied lip balm first, wiped it off, then used this. It glides on smoothly, and the color spreads evenly with each application. When blending for a gradient effect, it felt slightly matte but didn't emphasize dead skin cells and left a pleasantly powdery finish.
Cons3. Staying power While I was satisfied with the color payoff and application, the staying power left something to be desired. It didn't stain my lips, and I found that only the red lip color I applied to the inner part remained while this product had faded. But hey, we're always touching up our lip color anyway!
TipIf you have fair skin, try layering this with a red or pink lip color rather than wearing it alone!

I highly recommend it to those who love coral-orange shades. With the right amount, it's a great color for everyday wear. Missha, being a road shop brand, offers this lipstick at an affordable price. As shown in photo 1, you get a generous amount of product. The lightweight, transparent case is also a plus. What I really loved is that it comes off easily with cleansing tissues without leaving any stains. This is important because staining can lead to darker lips over time with repeated application. As someone who personally dislikes heavy staining, I found this quite satisfactory. Photo 3 shows the blended version in outdoor lighting, while photo 2 displays the full lip application in indoor lighting.
ConsThe scent might be divisive. It has a somewhat fruity fragrance. While not overpowering, it's noticeable since it's right under your nose. This is an extremely matte lipstick - truly 'supreme matte'. I'm known for preferring moisturizing lipsticks and can usually wear most matte formulas without emphasizing dead skin cells, but with this one, I had to apply lip balm first. As a summer cool-tone, I can't say it suits cool skin tones well. The color in the event photo looked less orange and closer to an MLBB autumn shade, which is why I chose this over the pink. However, the actual color is quite different. It has a strong orange undertone, making it more suitable for summer than autumn in my opinion. Photo 4 shows a comparison swatch with other orange-toned lipsticks I own. The saturation is similar to Pia's, but the color is slightly more orange. The shade I expected based on online photos was closer to a slightly deeper version of Hourglass's 'Peacemaker'.
TipWhen applying full coverage: Be cautious as it can pill slightly over lip balm. This seems common with lipsticks that have a hint of white in them. I recommend just exfoliating your lips and applying the lipstick vertically and carefully. While it's a daily color, a full lip application might be a bit much for some. For blending: When applying a small amount, mixing with lip balm works well. The blending looks more natural and pleasant this way.

While the product photo might show a slightly reddish tint, I didn't notice it when I applied it. It's not too orange either, more like a subtle brick color. - A great shade for when you want to appear calm and composed.
Cons- The scent is typical of old-fashioned lipsticks, reminiscent of what our mothers used to wear. Aside from that, I didn't find any particular drawbacks.
Tip- Since it's matte, it can accentuate dead skin cells. Apply a thin layer of lip balm before use for a perfectly matte look without emphasizing dry patches.

The color is a brick shade with orange undertones. There's no hint of pink, so it should be suitable for warm-toned individuals. I expected it to feel like applying crevasse filler, similar to MAC's matte line, since it's marketed as a matte lipstick. However, I was pleasantly surprised by how smoothly it glides on - it's remarkably soft for a matte formula. In my opinion, if you exfoliate and apply a thin layer of lip balm first, it won't feel heavy at all. It's a comfortable matte that doesn't weigh down your lips! I was surprised three times: first, when I saw the lipstick itself, which looked more orange-coral than expected; then when I swatched it on my hand and it appeared more brown than the bullet color; and finally when I applied it to my lips, where it looked less brown than on my hand. It's quite the chameleon! I absolutely love the texture of this lipstick.
ConsI can't say the staying power is exceptional. However, rather than breaking down messily, it seems to blend more naturally with my lip color over time. I have a light complexion with a deep undertone, so I usually prefer brighter, more moisturizing formulas (my holy grail is MAC's Huggable in Fashion Force). For me, this shade looked a bit dull and aging. I think it would be perfect for those with deep, muted undertones! Cool-toned individuals should definitely steer clear of this one.
TipAll the photos below were taken with an iPhone 6 rear camera using the default filter. (I've blurred my skin as I'm not wearing any makeup.) The lip swatch appears slightly more coral in the photo than in real life. It has a bit more of a brown undertone in person. Since I don't have any lipsticks in a similar shade, I've compared it to some well-known products for reference... MAC See Sheer - MAC Vegas Volt Woodbury Sugar Rose - Missha Merida Brown This shade has noticeably stronger orange undertones compared to these three distinctly different products.
