Perfect for this season. I've always favored bright reds or oranges, but after winning this from The Hwahae Testers, I tried a more muted color for the first time. Surprisingly, I quite like it! When applied, it gives off a very feminine vibe... It's also a lovely coral shade. Paired with a knit sweater, this lipstick gives you that warm, approachable senior colleague look - like someone who's got all the answers. I love it! While it's great on its own, it also works wonderfully as a base color for lip layering, creating a natural look. Personally, I like to apply Merida Reun first, then dab some of my go-to The Saem Dangerous shade in the center of my lips. Being in the coral family, it pairs nicely with orange lip products.
ConsIf you don't exfoliate, it might not adhere well to your lips. To be honest, I deducted a star because of the dead skin cells issue... Some reviews mentioned a lipstick scent, and while I'm not particularly bothered by it, I can't deny there is a slight smell. However, it's not overpowering, so I'd still recommend it unless you're extremely sensitive to scents! Also, since it's a matte lipstick, you might consider it a drawback that you need to layer it with a lip gloss or moisturizing tint if you want a glossy finish.

I highly recommend it to those who love coral-orange shades. With the right amount, it's a great color for everyday wear. Missha, being a road shop brand, offers this lipstick at an affordable price. As shown in photo 1, you get a generous amount of product. The lightweight, transparent case is also a plus. What I really loved is that it comes off easily with cleansing tissues without leaving any stains. This is important because staining can lead to darker lips over time with repeated application. As someone who personally dislikes heavy staining, I found this quite satisfactory. Photo 3 shows the blended version in outdoor lighting, while photo 2 displays the full lip application in indoor lighting.
ConsThe scent might be divisive. It has a somewhat fruity fragrance. While not overpowering, it's noticeable since it's right under your nose. This is an extremely matte lipstick - truly 'supreme matte'. I'm known for preferring moisturizing lipsticks and can usually wear most matte formulas without emphasizing dead skin cells, but with this one, I had to apply lip balm first. As a summer cool-tone, I can't say it suits cool skin tones well. The color in the event photo looked less orange and closer to an MLBB autumn shade, which is why I chose this over the pink. However, the actual color is quite different. It has a strong orange undertone, making it more suitable for summer than autumn in my opinion. Photo 4 shows a comparison swatch with other orange-toned lipsticks I own. The saturation is similar to Pia's, but the color is slightly more orange. The shade I expected based on online photos was closer to a slightly deeper version of Hourglass's 'Peacemaker'.
TipWhen applying full coverage: Be cautious as it can pill slightly over lip balm. This seems common with lipsticks that have a hint of white in them. I recommend just exfoliating your lips and applying the lipstick vertically and carefully. While it's a daily color, a full lip application might be a bit much for some. For blending: When applying a small amount, mixing with lip balm works well. The blending looks more natural and pleasant this way.

This one seems to highlight dead skin cells less. It only shows the natural texture of my lips, which I think is expected for a matte lipstick. The color has more of a coral tone than I expected. It's more coral in person than in the photos, and on my lips, it appeared as a subdued brown-tinted coral. Of course, the color may vary from person to person, so take this as a reference. I think it would suit warm-toned individuals well. As for staying power, true to its matte formula, it stays put unless you eat something. When I first went to apply it, I was intimidated by how matte it looked. But once I swiped it on, it applied better than expected and didn't emphasize dead skin cells as much, which I appreciated. Oh, and the lipstick handle has a rubber-like texture that feels nice to hold!
ConsThere's nothing really disappointing about this lipstick. I just hope this one is sturdier, as my previous Missha lipstick broke off not long after I started using it.
TipPro tip: Apply a generous amount of lip balm the night before for fewer dead skin cells the next day. And on days when you have a lot of flaky skin... maybe skip the matte lipstick!

It absorbs beautifully Despite being a matte lip product, it's not dry at all and applies incredibly smoothly. I loved how well it showed up even when I patted it on! The finish feels powdery soft. 2. Color payoff The shade is coral with a few drops of brown mixed in. It would make a pretty blush color too. It looked great on its own, but using it as a base color was a game-changer. If you apply a burgundy shade on the inner part of your lips over this, you'll create the most beautiful lip look ever. If you get your hands on this lipstick, you absolutely MUST try this! I mean it! I have an autumn warm complexion and never suited lips with even a hint of neon, but when I tried a gradient with this, it looked great! It seems to tone down any fluorescent undertones. 3. Scent The fragrance is very subtle. You really have to put your nose right up to it and sniff to notice any scent at all. I'm not sure how to describe the scent, but I liked it. 4. Packaging The handle part has a smooth plastic-like texture, which gives it a nice grip. It feels luxurious.
Cons1. As it's a matte lip product, it does accentuate dead skin cells ever so slightly. I think it would be good to apply lip balm before makeup and put this on last! 2. The ingredients...
Tip1. I mentioned this in the pros, but I want to emphasize it again. Use this as a base color and then apply burgundy over it - you absolutely must try it! 2. With matte lip products, it seems to accentuate dead skin cells less when you apply it vertically along the lip lines or pat it on, rather than swiping it horizontally.
