I haven't found a spare bottle yet, so I've been mixing two drops with my emulsion. It's been working so well that I keep using it. I bet it would be even better with the toner! This oil is non-irritating, hydrating, and doesn't leave my skin overly greasy. It feels lighter than argan oil, more similar to jojoba. After use, my skin texture improves, it seems to minimize small bumps, and my skin feels smoother. I plan to use it forever! I especially love that Sidmool's version is 100% tamanu oil.
ConsThe scent can be a bit strong since it's 100% tamanu oil. While the smell dissipates over time and doesn't linger, it can be slightly off-putting when applying. However, considering its effectiveness, the scent is a minor issue. If it's improving your skin, why worry about the smell? It's not overwhelmingly unpleasant, just a bit bitter. It's definitely tolerable enough to use regularly.

I'm on my second bottle now. It's not greasy at all. Instead, it feels like it forms a moisture barrier. I've never experienced any blemishes while using it. In fact, it seems to calm existing ones. I've noticed a significant reduction in folliculitis on my chin, and I think this tamanu oil has contributed to that. I mix it with my cream as the final step in my skincare routine, and they blend together seamlessly without separating.
ConsDue to the nature of the oil, the green tint is unavoidable. This makes it practically impossible to use during the day. When I apply it at night, it tends to transfer onto my pillowcase, resulting in frequent laundry sessions.
TipI recommend mixing it with other products rather than using it alone. Alternatively, you can drop some onto your palms, rub them together, and then gently pat it onto your face for better absorption.

Since it doesn't use synthetic fragrances, you can experience the pure essence of tamanu oil.
ConsI bought this because the Sidmool website claimed it was good for dry, red, and sensitive skin, but it didn't work for me. I also think it's overpriced for the amount you get. The strong oil scent makes it difficult to apply before going out, so I only use it before bed. As a result, I don't reach for it often, and it's becoming a neglected product. I'd say it's just an ordinary oil. I was curious to try a product with tamanu since I'd never used one before, but I won't be repurchasing.

Since I've had good experiences with Sidmool's Tea Tree Oil, I was curious about their Tamanu Oil, especially after hearing it helps with dryness. I decided to give it a try, and I'm happy to report the results were great! My skin's dryness has noticeably improved. Plus, it's less irritating to my skin, and despite being an oil, it doesn't feel greasy at all! I've been using it after cleansing, warming 2 drops between my palms and gently patting it onto my skin. The photo shows how my blemishes have improved after using it. It's been 7 days, and while I can't be certain if the improvement is solely due to this product (as I've also changed other skincare items), I'm just glad I'm not breaking out anymore!
ConsThe scent took some getting used to at first, and to be honest, it's not the most pleasant fragrance...

It's versatile and exceeds expectations wherever you use it. When applied with a non-greasy moisturizer, it combats extreme dryness. It's incredibly gentle, causes zero irritation, and has a soothing effect on super sensitive skin. Thumbs up!
ConsThe scent is a bit off. That's the only downside... everything else is great!

It's not too greasy and provides just the right amount of hydration, making my skin barrier feel healthier. The hype around Tamanu oil is definitely justified!
ConsWhile I personally don't mind this herbal scent, I can see it being quite polarizing. My partner absolutely hates it, so I can't wear it when I'm going out with them.
TipMixing a drop or two with aloe gel allows for an even application across the face without being too heavy for oily skin. It keeps my skin moisturized all day without needing additional emulsion. It's also great when mixed with toner and used as a mist.

I read that tamanu oil has antibacterial properties that are good for acne. After trying it, I found it wasn't too greasy and provided just the right amount of hydration.
ConsThe scent... it smells like freshly sharpened pencils or wood. While I don't have major complaints about the product, initially I thought it was helping with my blemishes. However, recently I feel like it might be causing more breakouts, so I've stopped using it.

I discovered tamanu oil's anti-inflammatory benefits from YouTuber Ria Yu's video and decided to give it a try. I apply 2-3 drops all over my face as the final step in my skincare routine. Even though it's summer, it doesn't feel greasy or heavy! After about a month of use, I've noticed a significant reduction in my blemishes. This product really works hard!
ConsThere's nothing I particularly dislike about this product! The nutty scent is actually quite pleasant to me. I generally don't prefer products with strong fragrances, so this suits me well.

As someone with combination skin, I used to avoid oils, but surprisingly, this even reduced my excess oil production. It's amazing!
ConsThe high solidification point of 25°C makes it freeze easily, which can be inconvenient.
TipMake sure to mix it with aloe gel when applying! I've tried using it alone, mixing it with cream, and even adding it to toner as a mist, but mixing it with aloe gel worked best for me.
