Wow, when I first applied it, my face felt refreshed! Is this what they mean by facial disinfection...?!!! I heard that tamanu is effective for soothing blemishes too. And yes, it definitely has a calming effect. It's just a shame I can't apply it in the morning. Although it's an oil, it doesn't feel like one. Usually, oils make your face feel coated in grease, but this one doesn't. It actually feels a bit drying? - dk*********Dry SkinAcne SkinRecommendedDec 10, 2023
It's a viscous green oil with a scent that's a mix of nuts and rubber. Personally, I didn't find it unpleasant. I bought it because it's supposed to be good for dark spots and blemishes. Given its texture, it might be too much for those with oily skin. However, if you have dry skin, it could be worth trying. It provides decent hydration, doesn't cause irritation, and is said to help with dark spots and blemishes. It causes eye irritation. Don't use eye drops after applying this product. I ended up with tears streaming down my face. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesRecommendedOct 10, 2023
This product was the most effective for my blemishes! After cleansing, I applied it to the troubled areas before bed, and it made a significant improvement! The scent is really unpleasant, but you get used to it. If you don't apply it thoroughly and let it absorb properly, you might wake up with white pimples the next day. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedSep 29, 2023
If you apply this and sleep with it on overnight, those tiny blemishes seem to calm down... However, the scent is so strong it can make you dizzy. Therefore, I'd only recommend using it on days when your skin is really acting up. - j2******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedJan 17, 2023
It's moisturizing and blends well with creams. No blemishes and it absorbs well into the skin. It has a distinctive scent and color that might be hit or miss for some people. - a2*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedDec 11, 2022
12/10/22 ⭐⭐⭐ - Noticeable fading of blemish marks! - Effective in calming acne! - Gentle, making my face feel comfortable - Often get allergic reactions in winter causing itchiness, but this prevents flare-ups - Love the herbal scent 1/23 ⭐⭐⭐⭐ - For some reason, my face turns red when used with skincare high in Centella Asiatica extract - Too light to fully tame dead skin cells: Applied a drop directly on flaky areas, but flakiness returned after a while 1/23 - Suddenly stopped causing redness! - Surprisingly, using the same single drop no longer leaves my skin dry..? - The scent is getting stronger. Not a fan of the fragrance - aa******Dry SkinSensitive SkinWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedNov 19, 2022
I love how it instantly works from face to hands. It leaves my skin feeling moisturized and healthier. I especially recommend it for hand care during winter months. The scent is really hard to get used to! But the effects are good enough that I can overcome the smell and keep using it. Since I don't like sticky textures, I mix it with a hydrating gel when applying to my hands. It absorbs quickly and keeps my skin moisturized for a long time. - vj*****Dry SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsRecommendedNov 7, 2022
This is seriously amazing for acne! I'm not sure about summer since it's November now, but I was shocked at how effective it is. It flattens bumpy acne and even helps with blemish marks. There's nothing bad to say... I'm honestly at a loss for words. I absolutely recommend this without hesitation! Try mixing it with your cream or toner before applying - na*********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinJul 15, 2022
It definitely seems to be effective for skin hydration... but there are too many drawbacks First of all, I developed blemishes. The box warned against use for those with nut allergies, so I applied it to my arm and neck first. When nothing happened, I added about three drops to my cream and applied it... Just like other reviews mentioned, I broke out in non-squeezable, purulent acne and inflammation. Wow, I went to the dermatologist last week, what a waste of money. If you have sensitive + oily skin, do not buy this. Absolutely not - gk*******Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinJun 12, 2022
It seems to provide great hydration with just a single drop. It's like an oil that doesn't feel heavy on the skin? To see effects on acne scars, you need to use it consistently for a long time, but I think it's my fault for buying it in summer. I mixed one drop with my moisturizer and applied it for a few days. On the first day, my skin looked smooth and nice when I woke up, but as I continued using it, it seemed to cause blemishes due to excess oil. So I stopped mixing it and decided to use it as a spot treatment on scars or mix it with modeling masks. It's good when applied sparingly, but as the weather is hot, oil builds up on my face after a while. It seems difficult to use in summer. It might be fine for those with dry skin, but even though I'm not particularly oily and have combination to normal skin, it was too much. It might be better to use this in fall and winter.
