It's very gentle with minimal skin irritation. The moisturizing effect lasts long after cleansing, making it great for dry skin types. There's a slight slippery feeling left on the skin after cleansing. It doesn't give that squeaky clean sensation. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJan 12, 2021
Am I the only one who was surprised using this product? I was genuinely shocked when no matter how much I rubbed, there was zero foam... I usually enjoy low-pH foam cleansers that don't lather much, but this one really caught me off guard. I'll elaborate on this in the drawbacks section. First off, the scent is reminiscent of dried tangerine peel, but it's not overpowering. As someone who prefers unscented or mildly fragranced products, I found this one just right. The texture, as the product name suggests, is a transparent gel that's almost water-like. Expect virtually no foam. Rather than feeling like you're applying a cleansing foam, it's more like using a cream mist. It feels less like you're cleansing your skin and more like you're infusing it with hydration, hence the cream mist comparison. After rinsing, your skin feels smooth and silky. It's not extremely slippery, but more of a soft, supple feeling. It's almost like washing your face with toner rather than a cleanser. As a result, there's absolutely no dryness. This could be a game-changer for those with extremely dry skin who find even low-pH cleansing foams too drying. It forms a moisture barrier without any hint of dehydration. Despite containing some potentially problematic ingredients, I didn't experience much skin irritation. I think this is due to the gentle, absorbing texture rather than a harsh, gritty feel. There's a very slight eye sting, but not enough to make your eyes water profusely. Even with my sensitive, seborrheic dermatitis-prone skin, I didn't really notice the effects of the less-than-ideal ingredients. Update after extended use: While cleansing was fine, I noticed my skin feeling unusually itchy after using this product. It's like a widespread, hive-like reaction. Those with super sensitive skin should be cautious. ✔ Highly recommended for those with extremely dry skin who've experienced tightness or dryness with every product they've tried so far. As mentioned earlier, this product produces absolutely no foam. No matter how much you rub, it just doesn't lather. I even tried using more product, thinking I might not have used enough, but it still didn't foam - it just absorbed into the skin. Consequently, it's hard to tell if it's actually cleansing or not. It feels like you're just massaging in a cream mist. Is this really cleansing? Even similarly slippery oils might not foam when applied, but they usually lather a bit when water is added. This doesn't foam at all, so I'm really unsure if it's cleansing effectively. It might be okay for morning cleansing, but I can't find a compelling reason to specifically choose this product. It's not like the ingredients are exceptionally good, nor is it particularly cost-effective. While the lack of skin tightness or dryness after cleansing could be a big plus, that's something that can be quickly addressed with proper skincare. So it's debatable whether this is a standout feature for a product meant primarily for cleansing. ✔ In summary, I'd say there's no significant merit to using this specifically as a cleanser. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinOct 15, 2020
I tried using this for the first time to remove morning oiliness. After use, I felt like my skin was moisturized. I think it's better than just washing with water alone, so I'm continuing to use it. It feels like applying an ampoule? I can't tell if my skin is cleansed or not. I'm not sure if it's controlling oil or not... I'm used to foaming cleansers, so this non-foaming one leaves my skin feeling slippery rather than squeaky clean. I understand why, but I'm having trouble getting used to it. - Hwahae UserDry SkinApr 3, 2020
It's a lightweight gel cleanser with mild cleansing power but excellent hydration. I didn't buy it expecting strong cleansing, but rather for gentle use, so I'm quite pleased with it. I use it as a second cleanse after my cleansing oil or after using a face mask. The design is also clean and appealing. I had the impression that Lagom's brand image would mean exceptionally good and gentle ingredients, but I was surprised to find the ingredients weren't as good as I expected. It contains dimethicone, which creates a silicone film, leaving a slippery feeling after use. If you're not sensitive to this ingredient, you can apply your skincare products directly afterward. However, if you are sensitive, you'll need to rinse until that slippery sensation disappears. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMar 12, 2020
The gel texture makes it feel light and easy to use in the morning While it's comfortable to use, it leaves a slippery feeling afterwards, making me unsure if I've cleansed properly - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinAug 4, 2019
After cleansing, my skin feels incredibly hydrated. When I first tried it, my skin was in terrible condition, but this product helped draw out a ton of excess sebum. There's a slightly slippery feeling after washing, so if you don't cleanse thoroughly, it might lead to blemishes. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinJun 4, 2019
It feels slippery, but the cleansing effectiveness seems better than expected. Seems great for morning use. The slippery texture was new to me, so I wondered if it was cleaning properly. But it seems to do the job well. I find myself using quite a bit of product though! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinMar 18, 2019
My skin feels so nice and hydrated after washing! It's perfect for a gentle morning cleanse. It doesn't lather up much, so I'm not sure if it's actually cleansing well. The slippery texture isn't my favorite either. While the quantity is generous, it feels a bit watery to me. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAcne SkinFeb 2, 2019
As expected from a morning cleanser, it gives a gentle, non-irritating cleansing sensation. I used it after hearing that using a cleanser is better than just water, and it seems perfect as a morning face wash. It's not a foam, but a gel texture. Perhaps because of its gel texture, it feels too slippery. Even after rinsing, I feel like I haven't cleansed thoroughly. Personally, I prefer a squeaky-clean feeling, so I only used half of this while I finished my entire bottle of micro foam cleanser. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinSep 25, 2018
People say this is effective enough to remove makeup on its own, but I still feel a bit uneasy, so I use it as my first cleanse and follow up with a foam cleanser. Before using this, my skin felt really tight after washing, but since I started using it, my skin feels less tight and more hydrated. It seems to have a slightly slippery texture, but other than that, I think it's pretty good.
