As someone with dry skin, I usually feel dryness and deep tightness when cleansing with foam in the morning. However, with this product, I hardly noticed any dryness. It removes the uncomfortable oiliness, leaving my skin feeling fresh yet hydrated. I also appreciated the cool gel texture, which helped lower my skin temperature during cleansing. Those who prefer cleansers with strong cleansing effectiveness or have oily skin might find this product's cleansing power insufficient. However, that's precisely why I like it, and I'm already on my second bottle. This seems to be an excellent product for those with dry skin to use during their morning cleansing routine. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinApr 17, 2023
I'm writing this review because some of the other reviews seem clueless. This product is meant for morning cleansing to remove excess oil and add hydration - it's not a typical cleansing foam. Its primary purpose is for makeup removal and morning cleansing. It's not designed for deep cleansing power, folks. You use it on bare skin, almost like a cleansing gel, get it? The effect is that when you use it in the morning, gently massaging it onto your bare face and then rinsing, your skin becomes super smooth and hydrated. The price can be a bit of a hurdle. Many might think it's steep for a 'morning cleanser', so I doubt most people would pay full price for it. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinJun 7, 2022
It seems great for a very gentle morning cleanse. Though I noticed it still leaves a slight oily residue on the nose. It's hard to tell if it's actually cleansing. Whether I apply it evenly on dry skin without water, lather it up with water, or use it on damp skin, the cleansing effectiveness is barely noticeable. I wouldn't recommend this for those with oily or combination dehydrated skin. However, applying it to dry skin seems to provide better cleansing effectiveness. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSep 19, 2021
Perfect for morning use. It eliminates that greasy shine. I used to only rinse with water in the morning, but I've learned it's important to cleanse properly too. Unfortunately, I noticed some small bumps appearing. I think I need to pay closer attention to the ingredients. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinJan 9, 2021
It's great for a gentle cleanse on bare skin in the morning or evening. Even though I have oily skin, it removes just the right amount of oil, which I appreciate. The cleansing effectiveness is a bit weak, and it doesn't give that squeaky-clean feeling. Also, there's a slight deep dryness after use. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinOct 15, 2020
I tried using this for the first time to remove morning oiliness. After use, I felt like my skin was moisturized. I think it's better than just washing with water alone, so I'm continuing to use it. It feels like applying an ampoule? I can't tell if my skin is cleansed or not. I'm not sure if it's controlling oil or not... I'm used to foaming cleansers, so this non-foaming one leaves my skin feeling slippery rather than squeaky clean. I understand why, but I'm having trouble getting used to it. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinApr 7, 2020
It's absolutely perfect as a first-step cleanser for morning and evening routines! It doesn't excessively strip moisture or oils from your face. While I understand it's a water-gel formula, I can't help but feel a bit uncertain about how much product is just right to use. I've found that using about one and a half finger-joint's worth of product is the perfect amount! - Hwahae UserDry SkinMar 16, 2020
It's great for those who don't get oily in the morning, leaving your skin feeling hydrated and nice As expected from a morning cleanser, you'll definitely need an evening cleanser to complement it - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinJul 17, 2019
Can be used conveniently without water. (You can use it even in waterless places with just tissues) Provides a noticeable hydration. Really effective at removing facial oil. As it's a gentle product like a morning cleanser, its cleansing effectiveness isn't great. Tends to cause eye irritation. (When it accidentally got into my eyes... the tingling sensation was even worse than getting an eyelash in your eye.) The scent isn't my style. I mainly use it to remove oiliness in the morning - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinFeb 20, 2019
As someone with combination dehydrated skin that's becoming increasingly dry, I've been using this as my morning cleanser since foam cleansers leave my face feeling tight. It effectively removes overnight dust and oil, leaving my skin clean yet moisturized. After cleansing, my skin feels soft and supple without any deep dryness - it's wonderful! There aren't really any downsides. However, if you're looking for that squeaky-clean feeling, this might not be for you. It's perfect for a morning facial massage routine.
