In the morning, it's perfect for cleansing. It's light and non-irritating to the skin. In the evening, it seems to lack sufficient cleansing power. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinApr 26, 2025
I bought this Lagom cleansing foam for my morning routine after seeing Risabae use it exclusively in her YouTube Shorts. The name made me think it'd be super gentle. When I tried it in the morning, I was surprised by the lack of foam, but then I checked the box and realized it's supposed to be that way! While I usually just rinse with water in the morning, I figured this would be better at washing away the oils that build up overnight. It's nice that it's so gentle on the skin. It feels like I've just washed with water. Doesn't leave that refreshed, clean feeling. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinMar 3, 2025
As someone with dry skin, I usually feel dryness and deep tightness when cleansing with foam in the morning. However, with this product, I hardly noticed any dryness. It removes the uncomfortable oiliness, leaving my skin feeling fresh yet hydrated. I also appreciated the cool gel texture, which helped lower my skin temperature during cleansing. Those who prefer cleansers with strong cleansing effectiveness or have oily skin might find this product's cleansing power insufficient. However, that's precisely why I like it, and I'm already on my second bottle. This seems to be an excellent product for those with dry skin to use during their morning cleansing routine. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinDec 15, 2024
Texture - It feels like a slightly slippery aloe gel or soothing gel. At first, I wondered if it would actually cleanse. It seemed like it might just slide around on my face. However, it spread evenly without clumping, making it easy to massage. It glided smoothly without any irritation. Usage experience - I applied it to my dry face for my morning cleanse and massaged it in. The texture doesn't drip, so there was no discomfort while massaging. It felt like using a cleansing milk. Then I added some water and massaged again. It didn't foam up. I finished by rinsing well with water. It has a slight fragrance, which made for a pleasant experience. Cleansing effectiveness - As the dry season approached, I switched from cleansing foam to cleansing milk for my morning routine. Then I changed to this product for my morning cleanse. While cleansing milk is less drying, I was looking for an even gentler cleanser and tried the Lagom Gel Cleanser. It was definitely non-drying and felt good. However, its cleansing power seemed quite low, feeling like it only removed dust and sebum accumulated overnight. Still, I use a generous amount to ensure proper cleansing. The Lagom Gel to Water Cleanser seems to be a product with a clear purpose, so it's good if it fits your needs. For my skin, which tends to be oily, it's not suitable for evening cleansing but works well for morning cleansing. Even then, it might not be strong enough for summer and I'll likely only use it during the dry seasons. Due to its uncommon texture and application method, it felt a bit awkward at first. Because of its low cleansing power, it seems best suited for dry skin types and those without much sebum or dead skin cells. I recommend it for morning cleansing during dry periods as it doesn't leave a dry feeling. It's convenient as you don't need to work up a lather like with cleansing foams, and you can apply it directly to dry skin. - Hwahae UserDry SkinMar 9, 2024
A gentle and moisturizing foam cleanser. Perfect for a light morning cleanse. Disappointing for removing makeup. It barely lathers, making you wonder if it's actually cleansing. It feels more like cleansing with a slightly foamy aloe gel. If you're used to that squeaky-clean feeling, this might leave you skeptical. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinFeb 23, 2024
As someone with oily yet sensitive skin due to its thinness, I bought this for my morning cleanse. Since water alone doesn't cut it, I was pleased to find this left my skin feeling moisturized and soft after use. The finish isn't squeaky clean, which might make you wonder if it's cleansing properly, but its cleansing effectiveness is actually quite good. I love that my skin doesn't turn red after washing. It's a great cleanser for a gentle cleanse. It's a bit disappointing that it doesn't remove makeup or brightening moisturizer very effectively. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinOct 19, 2023
Skin type: Dry, sensitive, prone to redness and facial heat. Fragrance: Almost unscented, but if you put it close to your nose, there's a very faint scent reminiscent of men's toner. It's not bothersome though. If you apply it casually, you won't even notice the scent - it's that subtle. Texture: It's a thin gel type that transforms into a water-like consistency when applied. For those with dry skin who find it inconvenient to carry a water cleanser, this could easily be decanted into a small container or pouch for on-the-go use. Cleansing and Hydration: The cleansing power is decent, though I used it as a second cleanser so I can't speak to its makeup removal capabilities. From a dry skin perspective, when used as a second cleanser, it didn't feel overly stripping. Instead, it left my skin feeling cleansed yet moisturized, seemingly preserving the skin barrier. It's incredibly gentle - my eyes barely stung during the entire cleansing process, suggesting it's non-irritating. Unique selling point: As a gel-to-water cleanser, it seems particularly suitable for those with dry skin. Due to its gentleness, it might not be suitable as a primary cleanser for removing makeup. - Hwahae UserOily SkinJun 24, 2022
I highly recommend this as a morning cleanser, even for oily skin. Although the non-foaming formula took some getting used to at first, it's perfect for morning cleansing. It doesn't strip away excess sebum, and you can instantly see your face looking more hydrated and brighter. The cleansing effectiveness isn't particularly strong. I'd suggest using a separate cleanser for your evening routine. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinJun 7, 2022
It seems great for a very gentle morning cleanse. Though I noticed it still leaves a slight oily residue on the nose. It's hard to tell if it's actually cleansing. Whether I apply it evenly on dry skin without water, lather it up with water, or use it on damp skin, the cleansing effectiveness is barely noticeable. I wouldn't recommend this for those with oily or combination dehydrated skin. However, applying it to dry skin seems to provide better cleansing effectiveness. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinMay 30, 2022
As a morning-specific cleanser, it seems incredibly gentle. There's no fragrance either. It doesn't lather up, and as I'm rubbing it on my face, I start to wonder if I'm actually cleaning properly. The cleansing effectiveness doesn't seem that great either.
