In the morning, it's perfect for cleansing. It's light and non-irritating to the skin. In the evening, it seems to lack sufficient cleansing power. - ba*****Oily SkinRecommendedMay 12, 2025
Perfect for morning use. It's not irritating at all, so I highly recommend it for those with sensitive skin. There's absolutely nothing bad to say about this product. - ki*******Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMay 6, 2025
I've been using this for about a month after hearing great word-of-mouth reviews. It's a fragrance-free, transparent gel formula that I bought for my morning cleanse when just water doesn't feel like enough. At first, I wondered if it was actually cleansing well, but after use, my skin feels clean without any tightness. I'm very satisfied and continue to use it as my morning cleanser. Those looking for a rich lather might find this less satisfying. - kb********Combination SkinSensitive SkinInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessMay 4, 2025
The price point is unbeatable. But compared to other non-foaming gel cleansers, it falls short in other aspects. With great options like Medipair, Pyunkang Yul, La Cider, Rovectin, Troiareuke, Estée Lauder, and more... There's really no compelling reason to choose this one. Here's why: 1. It's less effective at cleansing than its competitors 2. It causes irritation, which is unexpected for a non-foaming cleanser 3. Is it more hydrating than others? Absolutely not. It's actually less moisturizing. 4. The texture is subpar compared to alternatives... it's just disappointing overall. I used it once and never touched it again. I suspect the limonene might be causing a tingling sensation. Some people swear by Lagom as if it's a secret weapon, but honestly? I was left completely baffled by the hype. - es*****Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsMay 2, 2025
I can't really find any positives. I bought it after seeing an ad, but it seems like a total flop. Feels like I fell for clickbait. It's genuinely disappointing. I have dry skin, and this makes my face feel even tighter. I don't even have super sensitive skin, but when I use this alone, my face turns bright red like I need to see a dermatologist. I'll probably have to throw it out. I don't understand how they can claim it's gentle on the skin. - dm*******Combination SkinAcne SkinApr 27, 2025
I bought this Lagom cleansing foam for my morning routine after seeing Risabae use it exclusively in her YouTube Shorts. The name made me think it'd be super gentle. When I tried it in the morning, I was surprised by the lack of foam, but then I checked the box and realized it's supposed to be that way! While I usually just rinse with water in the morning, I figured this would be better at washing away the oils that build up overnight. It's nice that it's so gentle on the skin. It feels like I've just washed with water. Doesn't leave that refreshed, clean feeling. - ro***Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedApr 19, 2025
I'm using this as my first step cleanser. The gel texture makes it easy to spread on the face and rinse off with water. (The photo shows my skin after the first cleanse.) I follow up with a soap for a second cleanse. It's so convenient to remove makeup in one go in the bathroom - super practical! It's also great for morning cleansing, so I'll definitely repurchase when I run out. I recommend it as a daily item since it's gentle on the skin. As it's a lightweight product, I wouldn't recommend it for removing waterproof liners or mascaras. While it's good for morning cleansing, I highly recommend it for makeup removal. It effectively removes foundation, eyebrow products, blush, and lip color. - gj*********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinInner DrynessRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedApr 10, 2025
My sister uses this product really well. For reference, she was born with naturally strong and good skin, so she can use pretty much anything. It seems like a great daily option for those with good, balanced skin. It didn't work well for me. Not only is it expensive, but as someone with blemish-prone, super sensitive skin, I didn't notice any significant effects. I don't plan on using it again. - ji*******Dry SkinAcne SkinInner DrynessRednessRecommendedMar 3, 2025
As someone with dry skin, I usually feel dryness and deep tightness when cleansing with foam in the morning. However, with this product, I hardly noticed any dryness. It removes the uncomfortable oiliness, leaving my skin feeling fresh yet hydrated. I also appreciated the cool gel texture, which helped lower my skin temperature during cleansing. Those who prefer cleansers with strong cleansing effectiveness or have oily skin might find this product's cleansing power insufficient. However, that's precisely why I like it, and I'm already on my second bottle. This seems to be an excellent product for those with dry skin to use during their morning cleansing routine. - yu***Dehydrated SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedDec 15, 2024
Texture - It feels like a slightly slippery aloe gel or soothing gel. At first, I wondered if it would actually cleanse. It seemed like it might just slide around on my face. However, it spread evenly without clumping, making it easy to massage. It glided smoothly without any irritation. Usage experience - I applied it to my dry face for my morning cleanse and massaged it in. The texture doesn't drip, so there was no discomfort while massaging. It felt like using a cleansing milk. Then I added some water and massaged again. It didn't foam up. I finished by rinsing well with water. It has a slight fragrance, which made for a pleasant experience. Cleansing effectiveness - As the dry season approached, I switched from cleansing foam to cleansing milk for my morning routine. Then I changed to this product for my morning cleanse. While cleansing milk is less drying, I was looking for an even gentler cleanser and tried the Lagom Gel Cleanser. It was definitely non-drying and felt good. However, its cleansing power seemed quite low, feeling like it only removed dust and sebum accumulated overnight. Still, I use a generous amount to ensure proper cleansing. The Lagom Gel to Water Cleanser seems to be a product with a clear purpose, so it's good if it fits your needs. For my skin, which tends to be oily, it's not suitable for evening cleansing but works well for morning cleansing. Even then, it might not be strong enough for summer and I'll likely only use it during the dry seasons. Due to its uncommon texture and application method, it felt a bit awkward at first. Because of its low cleansing power, it seems best suited for dry skin types and those without much sebum or dead skin cells. I recommend it for morning cleansing during dry periods as it doesn't leave a dry feeling. It's convenient as you don't need to work up a lather like with cleansing foams, and you can apply it directly to dry skin.
