  Pros

  I used this as both a soothing cream and a moisturizer, and it worked really well for my skin. The hydration is great, but what impressed me most was its effectiveness in calming my skin. When I had some blemishes for a few days, consistently applying this cream helped them disappear!

  Cons

  Unfortunately, it felt too greasy and sticky when applied, which was disappointing.

  It didn't suit my oily skin well. Since it's quite rich, I wouldn't recommend it for those with oily skin types

  Pros

  It didn't leave my skin feeling dry when I used it in winter. I think it would be great for those with dry skin.

  Cons

  After applying, it felt a bit greasy on my face and left an oily sensation. It didn't seem to have much effect on blemishes. I don't think products like cica derma work well for me.

  Pros

  This is truly the best in the Madecassoside series. I highly recommend it! As a student, I had redness and blemishes on my face, but after using this, I achieved a beautifully clear complexion. Unlike other products in the series, I didn't find the scent off-putting at all.

  Cons

  The reason I said 'achieved' is because now my skin seems to have adapted, and the issues have returned. Also, since it's summer, using this product a lot leaves my skin feeling slightly sticky with a bit of excess oil.

  Pros

  It's wonderfully rich and works great under makeup. I apply it daily after my toner and emulsion. I really like it and will definitely repurchase when I run out.

  Cons

  If you have very oily skin, this might make your face look too shiny. The rich texture could also make your skin appear a bit greasy.

  Tip

  It's great to use after your toner and emulsion, or right before applying makeup and heading out. (Just my personal opinion)

  Pros

  Among the cica balms I've used, this has the thickest texture, so I'm using it like an ointment. It contains madecassoside, so I'm using it instead of lip ointment. My lips, which used to be covered in tree bark-like dead skin cells and cracked daily despite pharmacy and prescription treatments, have finally become human lips.

  Cons

  For those with oily skin, it might feel greasy and heavy. The texture is really like an ointment, so you shouldn't apply it too generously. When used on the lips, I felt the need for lip balm after some time.

  Tip

  1. Apply the madecassoside cica gel to your lips. 2. When the gel is absorbed and feels slightly dry, apply the 'madecassoside cica balm'. 3. Once absorbed, apply lip balm. 4. Wake up to soft, supple lips.

  As someone with super sensitive skin, my face tends to react when seasons change or when I switch skincare products like toners or cleansing foams. I used to use Etude's Cica Balm, and honestly, the effectiveness is quite similar. However, this product's plastic container is more convenient than aluminum, and it seems to absorb better. With consistent application, especially at night, blemishes appear to fade gradually. In severe cases, I apply a thin layer as a protective barrier before makeup. If it works for my skin, it should suit most sensitive skin types! I wanted to leave an honest review after finishing an entire bottle. I'm now on my second purchase and still using it.

  In my case, I found the quantity a bit small for the price. I wish they'd offer a larger size at a more affordable price point. Also, for those with oily skin, it might feel slightly rich, so I'd recommend using it only at night!
