  Does anyone else find this product effective? For me, it didn't work at all. Texture: Gel-like, non-sticky, absorbs quickly, has some oil content. Scent: Very strong, I was a bit surprised when I first applied it. It might be the signature scent of Madecassoside cream, but with a hint of lemon mixed in! Effectiveness: It didn't suit me at all... absolutely no results.

  1. Zero effectiveness 2. As someone with sensitive skin, it made my face red and caused a burning sensation over time 3. The fragrance is extremely strong, so please keep this in mind when purchasing 4. The opening is too large, dispensing too much product at once 5. The amount of product is also quite small..

  Cons

  Perhaps due to my dry skin, I find its hydration power lacking. It feels like a texture between an emulsion and a cream. While it may not have strong soothing effects, it's not bad if you think of it as a gentle, non-irritating application.

  Tip

  I've noticed that this product is often given as a free gift when you buy the serum from the same line! Personally, I preferred the serum, so if you need a serum, I recommend purchasing it and trying this cream along with it.

  I've been obsessed with A'pieu's cica line lately. I generously apply a cica toner from another brand, then layer on A'pieu's cica ampoule, and finish with this cica balm. Everyone's been telling me how much my skin has improved!

After application, it leaves the skin feeling moisturized - great for seasonal changes or winter use! It gave me the feeling that my skin was being refined. It's a type with more viscosity than a toner Absorbs quickly with absolutely no stickiness! Note: Using only the Fluid can lead to dryness over time Cica Gel: It seems like a more fluid version of Vaseline?!   As someone who loves multi-purpose balms, I've tried various types, but this Madecassoside Cica Balm is less thick than others. It absorbs well, and the 15ml size makes it convenient to carry around.

  Cons

  Since I prefer balms that provide intense hydration, form a strong barrier, and really seal my pores, I probably won't repurchase this. The amount is also quite small - exaggerating a bit, it might be gone after just 5 uses!

  Tip

  This balm works well for under-eye areas and nasolabial folds. Warm it up thoroughly in your hands, then apply it to dry areas as if you're creating a protective layer.

I used to use Etude's Cica Balm, and honestly, the effectiveness is quite similar. However, this product's plastic container is more convenient than aluminum, and it seems to absorb better. With consistent application, especially at night, blemishes appear to fade gradually. In severe cases, I apply a thin layer as a protective barrier before makeup. If it works for my skin, it should suit most sensitive skin types! I wanted to leave an honest review after finishing an entire bottle. I'm now on my second purchase and still using it.
