It's perfect for those times when you don't want to use something heavy. It's hydrating, absorbs well, and doesn't cause any pilling with makeup.
ConsWell, since it's a basic hydrating base, I can't really tell the difference between this and other hydrating gel creams... There's no compelling reason to choose this one specifically.
TipI have dry skin, and typically gel creams are more popular for oily skin types or summer use, right? But for me, in summer, it felt like it didn't mix well with my skin's natural oils and didn't absorb properly. Interestingly, I found it worked better for me in fall or winter mornings as a light layer. Being dry-skinned, I did feel some deep dryness, but when I applied toner and serum beforehand, it wasn't too bad! While I didn't reach for it much in summer, I found myself using it often in fall and winter, and ended up finishing the whole jar.

Cons- The pot packaging isn't very hygienic - The hydration doesn't seem to last long... It feels like it evaporates quickly, almost like water

However, in summer, I often stick to just a hydrating cream before makeup to avoid pilling. Sometimes, using only a hydrating cream can cause makeup to pill, but after using the Ample:N product for about a week, I've found it to be a refreshing cream that moisturizes without causing pilling! It has a smooth, bouncy texture that absorbs well. After application, it feels like it creates a thin moisture-coating layer on the skin, preventing hydration loss. The best part? The finish is fresh and silky, allowing makeup to adhere beautifully and creating a radiant complexion. It's perfect as a summer hydrating cream!
ConsIt seems best suited for solo use in summer. For fall and winter, you'll likely need to pair it with an additional moisturizing cream.
TipWith the weather being unbearably hot lately, I've found a great way to soothe irritated, reddened skin. I keep the Ample:N hydrating cream in the fridge, then generously apply it in the evening before bed. It quickly calms irritated, flushed skin and helps reduce that overheated feeling.

It spreads smoothly and evenly. While it absorbs quickly on the back of the hand, you need to gently pat it into the face for better absorption. It's not a heavy moisturizer, making it perfect as a hydrating cream for this season. As someone with combination dehydrated skin, I found that applying makeup over this cream creates a smooth, adherent base without any pilling. It's a pleasant surprise! I won this from The Hwahae Testers, and it feels like an unexpected gem. Despite the ingredients not being particularly outstanding, I didn't experience any blemishes, which is great for my hormone-sensitive skin.
ConsThe only downside is that it doesn't absorb instantly, but other than that, it's great! I didn't experience any blemishes either.
TipI don't have any specific tips, but I found that taking your time to pat the cream gently into your skin before applying makeup allows for better absorption. This method helps create a smooth canvas for makeup application and achieves a dewy complexion.
