It's incredibly hydrating, and even though I have oily skin, it doesn't contain particularly harmful ingredients, so it's worth trying at least once. It's a bit too moisturizing for my oily skin, leaving a slight oily feeling. No special tips to share. - qk**********Dry SkinRecommendedNov 27, 2020
I bought this product for light use during summer. It felt hydrating when applied, which made it pleasant to use. Being unscented, the fragrance wasn't bothersome, and it absorbed well into the skin. I'll likely repurchase it for the summer season. There wasn't anything particularly negative to mention. The quantity was good, and I didn't find any aspects that were bothersome. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedApr 22, 2020
You can get this product at a great price, and it absorbs beautifully. It's incredibly hydrating, so I highly recommend it for those with dry skin. There's a slight artificial scent, and the absorption could be a bit better. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMar 30, 2020
Recommended for all skin types, but especially for those prone to redness! The texture & absorption: It's a gel-type moisturizer with a soft feel. However, despite being lightweight, if you apply too much, it can sit on top of the skin, which is a bit disappointing. It absorbs best when spread thinly. Applying a large amount at once can lead to pilling and slow absorption, rather than sinking in. But when applied in a thin layer, it adheres well to the skin, so I don't recommend using too much. After 3 weeks of use: This product grew on me over time! It gives a similar feeling to snail cream, leaving the skin surface feeling smooth. As someone who typically applies skincare products generously, I was initially unsatisfied with its absorption and adherence. However, when I started applying a small amount twice, I could immediately feel the skin's texture becoming softer. With mask-wearing causing a resurgence in chin blemishes and sinus issues leading to heat on my nose, the cooling effect of this product helps calm things down. It's particularly effective as a base product under a modeling mask for those dealing with frequent blemishes, showing significant soothing effects. I bought it on a 1+1 deal and now use it as a hydrating mask too. Applying this product before a modeling mask noticeably reduces redness. While it might be a bit light for dry skin types, I bought it to use with the Ceramide Shot Ampoule. For those with dry skin, I highly recommend using both together. The slow absorption of both the ampoule and cream is a bit disappointing, but considering the price, it's not bad. You can adjust the amount as you use it. I'm using it as a pack by storing it in the refrigerator! After extracting blemishes and doing a 5-minute skin pack, applying this product before a modeling mask helps soothe the skin quickly. - db********Combination SkinSensitive SkinDec 15, 2019
I'm not a fan of heavy creams, so I appreciate the light and refreshing texture of this product. While it's not particularly lightweight, it's easy to apply and feels comfortable on the skin. I've been using the firming ampoule from the same brand and really like it, so I thought the cream would be good too. However, the ingredients aren't that impressive, and I actually broke out after using it. Now it's just sitting unused. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinRecommendedAug 24, 2019
It's wonderfully hydrating, and when you apply it to your hands, you can feel the water droplets forming and absorbing. It's absolutely fantastic for summer use! If you have dry skin, this might feel a bit dehydrating. To use this effectively, you'll probably need to layer it over a more rich, moisturizing product. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedApr 27, 2019
A tiny amount goes a long way, covering every nook and cranny of your face. It's one of those products that seems like a small quantity but transforms into a water-like consistency, allowing for ample coverage. My first thought when testing it on the back of my hand was how hydrating it felt. While there's an immediate sense of hydration, it doesn't penetrate deeply for long-lasting moisture. It's more of a surface-level hydration. When applied all over the face, it doesn't absorb exceptionally well. As mentioned, it has a water-like texture, so you need to pat it in for better absorption. For combination dehydrated skin, it might feel a bit light to use alone at night. However, it could work well as a pre-makeup moisturizer in the morning, as long as you ensure it's fully absorbed. While the application and initial hydration feel nice, it's disappointing that it doesn't address deep dryness or provide long-lasting moisture. If you have dry skin, you'll definitely need to layer a richer cream on top of this. It might be suitable for those with oily skin. For combination dehydrated skin types, I recommend applying an additional hydrating cream over it. - rl*********Normal SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedDec 29, 2018
The biggest advantage is how lightweight it feels when applied! It's perfect for those times when you don't want to use something heavy. It's hydrating, absorbs well, and doesn't cause any pilling with makeup. Well, since it's a basic hydrating base, I can't really tell the difference between this and other hydrating gel creams... There's no compelling reason to choose this one specifically. I have dry skin, and typically gel creams are more popular for oily skin types or summer use, right? But for me, in summer, it felt like it didn't mix well with my skin's natural oils and didn't absorb properly. Interestingly, I found it worked better for me in fall or winter mornings as a light layer. Being dry-skinned, I did feel some deep dryness, but when I applied toner and serum beforehand, it wasn't too bad! While I didn't reach for it much in summer, I found myself using it often in fall and winter, and ended up finishing the whole jar. - su*******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedDec 28, 2018
I used this during summer and loved the cooling effect. The refreshing and hydrating sensation was perfect for hot weather! The downside is that it absorbs rather slowly. It's frustrating when you're tired and have to keep patting it in. Also, since it's not very rich, it might be too drying for those with dry skin outside of midsummer. - st***Combination SkinDec 28, 2018
- Doesn't pill before makeup application - It's a gel type, so I didn't expect it to be moisturizing, but surprisingly it is quite hydrating - At first I thought this was causing skin irritation, but now that I'm using it again, I realize that's not the case - The pot packaging isn't very hygienic - The hydration doesn't seem to last long... It feels like it evaporates quickly, almost like water
