Hydration Unlike most gel creams where moisture seems to evaporate quickly, this one stays on for quite a while. I have very dehydrated skin, so I'm particularly sensitive to this aspect, but I didn't experience any deep dryness.
Cons1. Slow absorption Typically, gel creams absorb quickly, but this one lingers on the face. It's not a big deal before bed, but it was inconvenient when getting ready to go out due to its slow absorption. 2. Slippery texture It looks like a gel, but when applied to the face, the texture is quite unique. It's almost like a peeling gel... very slippery. Those who prioritize a fresh feel might not like it. Note: When I applied sunscreen before the cream was fully absorbed, it mixed with the cream and became slippery. It might react differently depending on the type of sunscreen. With my hybrid sunscreen, it eventually absorbed, but with mineral sunscreens... I'd recommend applying a thin layer and letting it absorb thoroughly. 3. Ingredients The ingredients aren't the best. There are three concerning ingredients that worry me a bit. Many people these days prioritize ingredient lists. Skin type recommendations: Dry skin: Recommended for summer, might be too dry for other seasons. Oily, Combination skin: Should be fine for all seasons except winter. Sensitive skin: Not recommended due to the presence of ethanol. Many people with sensitive skin react to ethanol.
TipI searched online and found that, for a limited time perhaps, it's available for under $10 with free shipping.

ConsWhile it turns water-like when applied, the finish feels sticky, leaving a residue on hands. It's less noticeable on the face, but doesn't feel fresh on hands Hydration doesn't seem to last long. Might need to reapply multiple times. It wasn't suitable for my skin that needs deep hydration.
TipJuly 23 Update My skin: Becomes dehydrated when it heats up in summer, and blemishes pop up if not cared for After further use, I found this product works best as a layering option. It was effective when reapplied during summer as my skin got hot and dehydrated. Pros: Has a slight cooling effect, which is nice. Cons: Not enough on its own for my initial skincare routine! Needs to be used with another moisturizer for hydration. Not suitable for night care as it doesn't provide enough moisture. How to use: For morning skincare and frequent reapplication. Apply before moisturizer in the morning. Use alone for reapplication when skin feels hot and dehydrated. It's fine on the face, but leaves an unpleasant residue on hands. + Review after finishing the whole jar Surprisingly, it improved my skin during summer. I often experience redness and heat on my face, and applying this gel cream helped with hydration and lowering skin temperature. For those with facial redness or high skin temperature, using products that can improve skin temperature, not necessarily this specific one, could be beneficial. Currently using Nomoreblue Therapy Anti-Redness Cream in winter. Using face masks to lower skin temperature is also effective!
