After using this, I noticed a significant reduction in my small, bumpy blemishes. There seems to be an ingredient that causes a tingling sensation, making it a bit uncomfortable to apply. - ea*******Oily SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRecommendedSep 27, 2023
As someone with oily skin prone to occasional blemishes and excess sebum, I must say this product works wonders for my skin texture. After cleansing, I apply about two dropper-fulls all over my face, wait for 10 minutes, then rinse off with water. It's amazing how it exfoliates without any physical scrubbing. Every time I touch my skin while rinsing, I can feel how effectively it's removed the dead skin cells. In my case, there was only a slight tingling sensation during application, which completely disappeared after washing it off. First-time users might find it a bit intense, but you'll likely get used to it over time. I don't find it problematic anymore. Besides, any sensation of irritation goes away once you rinse it off with water. I used this in combination with The Ordinary Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution (a low pH toner). - lt*******Combination SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedAug 25, 2023
With regular and consistent use, your skin becomes incredibly soft and smooth. It stings a bit, even though I don't have super sensitive skin. I think it might be irritating if used too frequently. This isn't an ampoule to use before makeup application. I occasionally use it at night before bed. - ja*********Dry SkinSensitive SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedFeb 13, 2023
The lightweight formula absorbs well into the skin. Its main advantage is that it's pure ingredients, making it affordable. It seems to help balance oil and moisture levels in the skin. There's a noticeable difference when I'm not using it. To be honest, there's nothing particularly disappointing about it. However, it doesn't dramatically improve your skin as much as you might expect. When first using this product, I recommend mixing it with a soothing gel or another cream before applying it directly. Use it only in your evening skincare routine. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinSep 23, 2022
It absorbs well and spreads easily. Even a small amount is sufficient for effective skin care. Be careful when opening the lid as it can easily cut you. I wonder if the ridges on the lid were really necessary. - Hwahae UserDry SkinRecommendedSep 2, 2022
When my skin texture feels terrible, I apply this at night and after cleansing in the morning, my skin feels significantly softer. It's different from cleansing oils or peeling gels. I'm satisfied with it as an emergency treatment. For those with super sensitive skin, it's really challenging to find the right timing to use this. If used incorrectly, your face can feel a tingling sensation for days. Usually, when skin texture is rough, overall skin condition tends to be poor... It's troublesome having to carefully time the application, control the amount, and consider combinations with other products. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinRecommendedJun 30, 2022
Even though I have a lot of dead skin cells, this doesn't cause any blemishes when applied. I found it gentle enough to use daily. The small quantity isn't disappointing. Not sure why I need to write 20 characters though. It works well when mixed with an emulsion. - mn*****Combination SkinRecommendedNov 6, 2021
My skin fluctuates between combination dehydrated and combination. It's fairly resilient, with some dead skin cells on my nose. I was pleasantly surprised that it didn't tingle as much as expected, and I loved how quickly the formula absorbs. It has a very watery consistency. For a high-concentration AHA, lactic acid tends to be somewhat moisturizing. However, it can still dry out and sensitize the skin. Those with dry or super sensitive skin might find it challenging to use. I use it every other evening as the first step after cleansing, or apply it 20 minutes before a cleansing mask. It removes dead skin cells, leaving your skin incredibly smooth. The difference in skin texture when using this versus not using it is remarkable. It's especially effective for those with stubborn dead skin on their nose. Soak a cotton pad generously and gently wipe your nose to remove the dead skin. Just keep in mind that the dead skin will return if you stop using it. - so*****Dry SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRecommendedJun 5, 2021
Since AHA ingredients work well for me, I bought the 10% version instead of the 5%. My skin feels so soft and smooth the day after using it. The price is affordable, and it suits me well, so I'll likely repurchase when I run out. I don't really have any complaints. It's not sticky, the price is reasonable, and it seems to be a good product overall. I apply this after my toner and essence, which makes it feel less tingly. That's how I've been using it. - ym*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedFeb 27, 2021
I bought this to manage my dead skin cells. Since I heard cotton pads aren't great, I thought chemical exfoliation would be better. I actually enjoy the tingling sensation - it makes me feel like it's working on those stubborn dead skin cells! It stings if it gets near my eyes. At first, I applied it before my cream, but now I apply it after I've put on all my other skincare products. If you find it irritating, try applying it as the last step in your routine.
