  Pros

  It's a decent product. I bought it to use instead of an exfoliating toner, but it doesn't give that thoroughly cleansed feeling. The pads leave a slight residue. They're quite soft and a good size.

  Cons

  There's nothing particularly outstanding about this product, good or bad. It doesn't feel better than other similar items, so I won't repurchase. It's not cheap either. There's a medicinal scent, and it doesn't seem to exfoliate dead skin cells as described in the product description.

  Tip

  This might work better in winter than in summer.

  Pros

  1. Gentle Compared to other products, I found this one to be gentler, which I appreciated. As someone with oily and sensitive skin, I often break out when using the wrong products, but this didn't cause any blemishes. It also didn't feel heavy on my skin, which was great. 2. Hydration Usually, pads and other basic skincare products tend to dry out quickly, but this one felt more moisturizing compared to others. When I use it right before applying makeup, it helps prevent my makeup from looking patchy. 3. Tweezers I loved that it came with separate tweezers, allowing me to pick up one pad at a time cleanly. When using your hands, you might accidentally grab 2-3 pads, but the included tweezers made it convenient and hygienic.

  Cons

  1. Texture The surface of the pads is a bit rough. It's not so rough that it's unusable, but you can feel a slight coarseness when it touches your skin. Using these pads doesn't give you that smooth, gentle wiping sensation. 2. Scent This might be a matter of personal preference, but it has a somewhat medicinal scent. Personally, it reminds me of a mentholated ointment, which isn't really my taste. However, if you enjoy refreshing scents, you might like this.

  Tip

  1. If you use these pads to wipe your face right before applying makeup, but after using emulsions or creams, your makeup won't start to separate as quickly! 2. When your skin is acting up, do you sometimes do a 'skin pack'? Instead of a traditional skin pack, I found it soothing to just place these pads on my skin. It seemed to help calm my skin down.

  This review is based on being selected as a Hwahae Tester. I have combination dehydrated skin with some blemishes around my cheeks. 1. Ingredients The ingredients are undoubtedly excellent! There were no skin irritations or other issues due to the great formulation. I applied to be a Hwahae Tester because of the impressive ingredient list. As someone with somewhat sensitive skin, I'm very satisfied that it didn't cause any blemishes. 2. Effectiveness As a Hwahae Tester, I prioritize ingredients, so I took some time to observe the effects before writing this review. To be objective, there weren't any dramatic results. However, my makeup did apply more smoothly the next day! In my subjective opinion, it's difficult to achieve dramatic effects from toner pads, so the improved makeup application is a good outcome. I believe the skin prep helped my makeup adhere better. 3. Toner Amount The amount was perfect for use as a swipe-on toner. Sometimes I find too much product uncomfortable, but these pads had just enough to leave my skin feeling hydrated. It wasn't overly saturated, but had enough moisture that after patting it in a few times, you could feel it absorbing. The quantity was spot-on! 4. Pad Texture The texture wasn't rough and was great for evening out the skin! The embossed side definitely felt like it was smoothing the skin, and following up with the soft side left a nice, clean finish that I really liked.

  Cons

  While not necessarily a drawback, I think the scent might be polarizing for some. Being a dermatological product, it had a slight medicinal smell. However, the scent isn't overpowering or unpleasant, so I think most people won't mind it during use.

  Pros

  You know how it can be a hassle to carry separate cotton pads and toner? Well, toner pads have everything in one container, which seems so convenient! That's why I wanted to give them a try. These days, you see toner pads everywhere - Olive Young, Bla Bla, Lohb's, you name it. There are even some from famous brands. It was really tough to choose, but The SAEM caught my eye with its impressive ingredients. There weren't any concerning components, and I was intrigued when I heard that even if it gets in your eyes, it doesn't sting. Let's talk about the pros! ❗️First and foremost, safe ingredients If you check the Hwahae app, you'll see there are no cautionary ingredients - just gentle, worry-free components. As I mentioned earlier, I heard it doesn't sting if it gets in your eyes. Out of curiosity, I even gently rubbed it near my eyes, and truly, there was no stinging at all. It's so mild you might wonder if it's even doing anything! ❗️The role of toner pads I've been using these morning and night for about 1-2 weeks to refine my skin texture after cleansing. Despite it being summer, I have dry skin that often develops flaky patches around my nose and eyebrows. I used to use exfoliators occasionally, but they would cause breakouts, so I had to be careful. With these pads, I use them daily and I don't get any flaky skin or rough texture. No breakouts the next day either! I store them in the fridge, so they're nice and cool. There's plenty of toner on each pad, leaving my skin feeling hydrated and great. Plus, the pads are dual-sided - one side has a textured pattern, the other is smooth. I like to wipe once with the textured side, then once with the smooth side. ❗️The tweezers I saw a lot of complaints about the tweezers in the reviews, but I actually found them quite good at picking up one pad at a time. They're plastic, so they might seem flimsy, but maybe I just have strong fingers... ❗️Value for money + Ease of use When it comes to ease of use, there's no question - it's super convenient. I keep them in the fridge and just take out one whenever I need it. It's even easier than I thought it would be. No need to take out cotton pads and toner separately, pour, put away - it's really great. I think the value for money is good too. There are about 70 pads in a container, and since I use one in the morning and one at night, it lasts me about 35 days. I think it's plenty for just over 10,000 won for a little more than a month's use.

  Cons

  Cons: ❌ The scent This might be just my preference, but at first, I didn't really think about the scent. However, as I used it more, I noticed a kind of sour smell? Like bleach or detergent? It started to bother me a bit. ❌ Tweezer storage It's great that there are tweezers to hygienically pick up each pad, but I wish there was a separate storage space for them. I'm always wondering where to put them, and although I clean them occasionally while using, it would be nice if there was a built-in storage space inside or if they could be attached to the side somehow.

  Tip

  I think it's good to use one pad in the morning and one in the evening. If you have sensitive skin and are looking for gentle ingredients, I really want to recommend this. It doesn't dramatically improve your skin texture, but for those with slightly dry skin in summer, I think it's good if you use it consistently. *I don't have a before picture, but I've attached a photo taken after a week of use. I wanted to show you how the flaky skin around my nose area has disappeared!

  Out of all the pads I've tried, this product is the absolute best! • Dead skin cell removal I was truly amazed by this aspect. Recently, whenever I applied base makeup, my nose would be a disaster area of flaking skin, to the point where I didn't even want to put on makeup. But after using this, the dead skin on my nose... it's just gone. Wow, I was really impressed! • Hydration In terms of hydration, there wasn't anything super remarkable. It just felt like it gave a quick, simple moisture boost. • Packaging I was so happy that tweezers were included! Other pads don't come with tweezers, so this is absolutely top-notch in terms of hygiene.

  Cons

  • Scent While it's clearly not irritating to the skin, why does the scent have a slight alcohol-like, strong fragrance that lingers? Overall, it's a solid product for regular use!

  Tip

  I think it would be great to wipe with the pad, then apply an ampoule or essence, followed by a cream or emulsion.

  I find it works even better when I use it after cleansing with a pad before my skincare routine. It's perfect for days with high pollution, and it's excellent for removing dead skin cells too!

  Cons

  It's a bit disappointing that the pads seem to have a slight alcohol scent.

  In the morning, after cleansing, I wipe with the pad and it takes care of dead skin cells.

  It really reduced my noticeable dead skin cells, making my skin smooth and lovely. Best of all, I don't need a separate exfoliator, which is convenient, and I can use it daily without irritation - that's fantastic!

  The scent is more medicinal than cosmetic, which is quite strong.

  For even softer skin, use both sides of the pad to wipe from your face down to your neck every evening after cleansing.

  Here's my review after using The Saem Derma Plan Peeling Toner Pads for a week. To write this review, I skipped my usual mask and exfoliation routine and only used these pads for skincare before bed! I used 2 pads a day, morning and night. Let me tell you about these pads - they're low pH, suitable for sensitive skin, and contain houttuynia cordata extract. There are 70 pads in the pack! I think they'll last quite a while. As someone with acne-prone skin, I found this product great with its beneficial ingredients like houttuynia cordata, and its suitability for sensitive skin. Even when I ate flour-based foods and instant meals, I didn't get a single pus-filled pimple. My skin texture definitely improved, and when I cleansed with this in the morning before applying makeup, it went on smoothly! It's really convenient for touch-ups, and I highly recommend it to those who find it bothersome to use cotton pads soaked in toner. I've tried COSRX pads, Missha moisture pads, and Eraser pads, but they weren't anything special. The Saem is definitely cheaper than other brands. You won't regret buying it! (The packaging is simple and pretty too)

  There's not much to dislike. The reason I'm not giving it a perfect score is that I expected my skin to improve dramatically. I think I need to keep using it consistently to see more results! I recommend this to those who find it annoying to use cotton pads soaked in toner, but if you're looking to save money, you might want to skip this product. Also, the scent isn't great... The alcohol smell is quite strong. If they could improve the fragrance, it would be a perfect product

  Tip

  When doing touch-ups, cleanse with this and reapply makeup - it works like a charm! Instead of the freezer, keep it in the fridge. Using it in the morning helps reduce puffiness!
