Hello, this is a review from the Hwahae Trial Reviewer. Scent! The best part was the scent hahaha It's not an artificial fragrance, but contains eucalyptus essential oil, so every time I wipe my face, it's a whole new world... it was truly touching. I love The Face Shop (love confession) I mainly used it to remove my makeup, and before applying makeup, like using a toner... but I got so intoxicated by the scent.. 🤪 hahahaha Couldn't give an objective review... (?) Makeup really comes off well..!! Of course, I do it lightly_< First. The scent was very much to my liking Second. As a first-time pad user, it wasn't too scratchy and was quite soft Third. Nothing new or emerging on my face. These are the pros ♡

As for the downside.. if I should call it that? One time, I just left it on my cheeks like a face mask for about 10 minutes(?) There was no heat or itchiness, but when I took it off, the areas I had left it on were reddened, as if irritated or burned(?), and I was so shocked that I applied an atopic cream and went to sleep ㅠㅠ So surprised.. (If anyone has had a similar experience with hoxy.. please share ㅠㅠ)

Pros
✔️ The pads were well-soaked with toner. There was enough toner that I could wipe my entire face with just one pad. ✔️ It was convenient that I didn't have to separately soak the cotton pads in toner, as I could just take one out and gently wipe my face. ✔️ The pads did not have any annoying fuzziness.
Cons
✔️ I have sensitive skin, and to be honest, I felt a slight itchiness when I first used it. ✔️ The pads are thin. While they seem to exfoliate with the embossed part and cleanse with the soft cotton side, the thinness made it hard to distinguish the two sides. ✔️ The scent, which is noticeable when you open the lid, might be divisive. It wasn't a scent I particularly enjoyed. ✔️ The toner lacked moisture. Being on the drier side, I felt the toner quickly evaporated and didn't leave my skin feeling very hydrated. ✔️ As for the exfoliating function... I'm not sure. It felt more like it was just removing dirt rather than effectively exfoliating.

Pros
It was so nice that the product was easy to use and the tweezers could pick up each sheet well. Especially, the pad material was soft and the embossing was thick, so the first experience of using it was great. The essence didn't drip too much even though it was moisturizing...! It wasn't too stimulating as a peeling pad, and the scent was also fine.
Cons
ㅠㅠ I have sensitive skin and usually AHA/BHA peeling products work well for me, but after using this, my skin felt a bit stiff and I had a lot of breakouts. Maybe it's because my lifestyle habits weren't good while using this product My face felt hot, itchy, and the painful breakouts came up a lot, so I had to stop using it...
