Even though I have sensitive skin, it doesn't cause any irritation and provides excellent hydration. With the windy and chilly weather, the moisturizing effect is really nice.
ConsInitially, the texture feels a bit thick and slightly rich, making it more suitable for fall and winter use. There's no included applicator, so I'm using a tool from my mask routine to scoop it out.

I love the texture as it seems great for hydration. It feels like it locks in everything I've applied before, creating a protective barrier. ◽Love the overall white packaging The Saem's derma line with its white and blue packaging gives a calming feeling. It makes me feel like my skin will improve just by looking at it. ◽Generous amount Although I haven't had it for long, I've been using it generously morning and night due to dryness. I even apply it to dry areas after the gym when I don't bring my body emulsion. There's still plenty left. I appreciate the generous quantity.
Cons◽No spatula included Using my fingers to scoop out the product every time might lead to hygiene issues. It would be great if they included a spatula. ◽It's heavy In the positive points, I mentioned it locks in moisture well, but that's because it's heavy. While it might suit those with dry skin like me, I wouldn't recommend it for those with oily skin.

The reason? Its hydration power is truly impressive! The cream's texture isn't as thick as you might expect. However, the moment you apply it to your face, it turns white like an ointment and then absorbs into the skin! Compared to other products, it's less dense than Atopalm Real Barrier's formula, but it offers similar levels of moisture. It applies like an ointment and while it doesn't absorb exceptionally fast, it doesn't feel sticky or leave residue. Just be careful not to over-apply, as it might feel a bit heavy.
ConsThe scent is reminiscent of ointment. It's not exactly pleasant, but it's not off-putting either, so I continue using it. Unfortunately, the product doesn't come with a spatula, which isn't very hygienic. The packaging is surprisingly large but not heavy, leaving me wondering why they made it so big.
TipFor those who find winter skincare routines tedious, you can simply apply toner followed by this cream without worrying about dryness! While I don't have extremely dry skin, it leaves my skin feeling incredibly moisturized. After application, it forms a slight protective layer on the skin!

(My skin is typically combination dehydrated on the T-zone and cheeks, dry on the U-zone, sensitive, and tends to be drier in winter.) To summarize the positives, it absorbs well and excels at preventing moisture loss! Despite my oily skin that usually reacts badly to thick creams with blemishes, this one didn't cause any issues. In winter, even when my U-zone feels tight and dry, I couldn't use oils or creams due to my super sensitive skin. Thanks to this opportunity, I think I've found a great product! Even after using ampoules or the 7-skin method, my skin would feel dry without sealing it with an oil or cream. If you have sensitive skin like me and couldn't use creams before, you'll likely be satisfied with this! I'd recommend this for all skin types except extremely oily skin! It's especially great for normal to dry, sensitive skin types! It absorbs well and leaves a clean finish, so if you dislike excessive shine, you might want to give this a try.
ConsThis isn't a hydrating product! True to its name, it creates a layer of oil on the skin's surface. If you're looking for hydration, you might want to choose a different product! One drawback is the lack of a spatula. Given the product's substantial size, a small mini spatula would allow for more hygienic use! Not recommended for oily skin types! This product creates an oil barrier, and people tend to have strong opinions about shea butter! While it's not slow to absorb, you might find it feels a bit heavy.
TipWhen softening lip dead skin cells, apply this product thickly and wrap it. It works really well, making removal less irritating later! My lips get very dry, so I keep some in a separate container to apply frequently. It's much better than lip balm (it feels a bit like Bepanthen! I switched to this because of the ingredients). I typically do a 3-skin method (usually with Mamonde Calendula, sometimes Innisfree Green Barley), then apply a hydrating ampoule (Torriden Hyaluronic Acid Ampoule, great for hydration with low molecular weight hyaluronic acid), and then use about a pea-sized amount of this product. I rub it evenly between my hands, then apply it starting from the driest areas to the oiliest, using the slight warmth. If it feels too dry, I mix in a drop of oil (cold-pressed, unrefined jojoba oil). For oil-based products, it's important to let them absorb fully to prevent pilling when applying makeup! Make sure to allow plenty of time for this product to absorb in the morning!

Here's my review: First, let me mention that I have sensitive combination dehydrated skin. Being combination dehydrated, I dislike lightweight products, but I'm not fond of overly rich ones either. This product, however, hit the sweet spot for me! My skin is quite sensitive, and it usually reacts badly to products with poor ingredients. But with this one, I didn't experience any blemishes, itching, or irritation. The texture is heavier than expected, making it perfect for winter use. Yet, it's not sticky, so I didn't have to worry about it clinging to my hair or pillow. While it's not exactly lightweight or fresh, it maintains hydration for a long time without drying out quickly. On lazy skincare days, I found that just applying toner followed by this cream was sufficient for me. This cream is ideal for the dry winter months. I'd recommend it for those with dry or combination dehydrated skin types.
ConsDue to its somewhat rich texture, you don't need to apply it generously. Even a small amount provided enough hydration for my combination dehydrated skin. Because of this, I'd suggest that those with oily skin test it out before purchasing. One slight disappointment is the lack of a spatula. Since it comes in a jar, having a spatula would be more hygienic, so that's a minor drawback.
TipI recommend applying small amounts multiple times rather than slathering it on all at once. Also, in my experience, it works better when applied before bed at night rather than in the morning.

The texture is rich and creamy, but it absorbs more smoothly than other balms. With 60ml, there's plenty to cover arms, legs, and dry patches. As someone with extremely dry skin, I appreciate moisturizing balms with less oiliness, and this one offers great value for money. It has a unique scent, not perfumed, which dissipates quickly.
ConsIt doesn't come with a built-in spatula, but I just use one from another cosmetic product.
TipI apply it generously as part of my nighttime skincare routine.

Great for soothing When my skin is irritated, dry, or exposed to a lot of pollution, I apply this before bed. Thanks to its calming effect, my skin feels much better the next day! 2. Minimal fragrance It's not completely fragrance-free, but the scent is very subtle. I have a sensitive nose, so I can detect it, but it's really, really mild!! 3. Non-sticky and absorbs well Since I have oily skin, products with even a little oil tend to feel too sticky. However, this one moisturizes well without any stickiness, which I really like!!
Cons1. No spatula included Usually, products that come in jars include a spatula for hygiene purposes, but this one doesn't. Well, it's not a big issue - you can just wash your hands well before use or buy a separate spatula!! 2. Difficult to control the amount This might vary from person to person, but I find it hard to use the right amount. If I apply too much, it clumps up, and if I use too little, it doesn't feel moisturizing enough.
TipI recommend applying this before bed! Since it's a bit tricky to apply thinly, if you use it in the morning and then apply cushion foundation, it might cause pilling.

After receiving this product, I've been using it exclusively for my skincare routine for two weeks. As someone with extremely dry skin, I've been in need of a deeply hydrating product, and this cream has been my go-to for the past fortnight! Despite being a balm cream, it has a surprisingly soft, creamy texture that glides onto the skin effortlessly. The absorption is really impressive! For those of us with very dry or dehydrated skin, applying a generous layer as night care leaves you with wonderfully supple skin come morning. It feels like the hydration penetrates deep into the skin, so even after washing my face, it doesn't feel overly tight. Since it's undergone sensitivity testing and human skin compatibility tests, I think it could work well for those with sensitive skin too. I've been dealing with a sudden acne breakout lately, but after using this cream, I noticed a significant reduction in my small bumps and redness. It seems to have really gentle, skin-friendly ingredients! I definitely recommend this product!
ConsRight after application, it might feel a bit oily, like it's sitting on top of the skin, though this sensation seems to subside after a while. I wouldn't recommend this for those with very oily skin types. Also, it doesn't come with a spatula, so there might be some hygiene concerns with potential dust or impurities getting into the product.
TipAfter applying the cream and allowing it to absorb for a bit, if you notice any excess oil, you can gently blot it with oil-absorbing sheets. This helps prevent clogged pores and reduces any feeling of heaviness on the skin.

Great absorption! - Regular price isn't the cheapest, but it's quite affordable during sales! If you find it pricey, aim for those sale periods. - It's mildly acidic with a pH of 5-6, which is great. - Extremely gentle and fragrance-free. However, it's a shame it clogs pores. - It's incredibly hydrating. I have extremely dry skin, but just applying this after toner is sufficiently moisturizing. - Sleeping with this on improves skin texture. When I touch my skin in the morning, it feels silky smooth. • Texture - Similar to Uriage Xémose Cerat. It has a thick, whipped cream-like consistency. The color isn't translucent white, but completely white.
Cons- There's no spatula included... Usually, it's built-in, but not with this one. - Even with a thin application, it clogged my pores and caused some small blemishes... Probably due to the stearic acid and its heavy texture. - Is it just me who finds it greasy? Looking at reviews, hardly anyone mentions oiliness. They could perhaps reduce the shea butter content a bit... - I usually apply cream before makeup as foundation or cushion can be drying, but while No More Normal didn't pill, this cream does.
Tip• Not recommended for oily skin • Highly recommended for very dry and dry skin! It's better as a night care product rather than for morning use. • For the forehead, regardless of whether you have dry or very dry skin, I recommend applying just a small amount. Otherwise, your bangs will get all greasy and messy.

Most toners and products with fermented ingredients are off-limits for me due to allergic reactions. Interestingly, during periods when my atopic dermatitis was under control, I had clear, blemish-free skin. Now, as I've aged, I've developed some dark spots, likely from times when I couldn't use sunscreen or foundation due to severe flare-ups. Currently, my skin is recovering from a recent flare-up, with redness around my eyes and cheeks that's sensitive to the slightest irritation. ✔ Why I Tried It - Selected as a Hwahae Tester I used to be wary of using affordable skincare products. However, after experiencing reactions to high-end brands like Estée Lauder and Su:m37, I realized that price doesn't always equate to compatibility. This product's gentle ingredients and dermatological focus appealed to me. ✔ Texture, Scent, Application - Medium-consistency cream - Nearly fragrance-free - Slightly thick texture but applies smoothly ✔ My Routine Avène Thermal Spring Water → Hyaluronic Acid Massage → The SAEM Ultra Balm Cream → 100% Horse Oil Cream ✔ Pros - Rich cream with a surprisingly light application - Improves skin texture, neutralizes redness, soothes atopic dermatitis - Great value for money As someone with extremely dry skin, I've tried countless heavy creams. Most feel suffocating or too thick, and those that don't often irritate my skin. This cream, however, feels lightweight despite its rich texture. I was initially skeptical, but after a week of consistent use, I saw remarkable improvements! The redness around my eyes and cheeks reduced by about 50%, and the stinging sensation decreased by 80%. I'm so satisfied that I'm now exploring other products in this derma line. And the value! At 22,000 won for 60ml, it's affordable enough to use generously. I'm sold on this product - please keep the price as is!
Cons✔ No Spatula Included While it looks like it should come with a built-in spatula, it doesn't. But honestly, I'd rather have a lower price than a spatula I can easily buy elsewhere. ✔ Not Recommended for Oily Skin - Can cause buildup of sebum around the nose and cheeks Even with my dry skin, I noticed some sebum buildup around my nose that needed occasional extraction. For extremely dry and sensitive skin like mine, this level of oil can help protect the skin barrier. I just avoid applying it to those areas. However, this cream might be too rich for those with oily skin types.
Tip✔ Hyaluronic Acid Tip The cream itself feels a bit lacking in hydration compared to its oil content, so mixing in some hyaluronic acid works well. I recommend mixing it with hyaluronic acid (I find Cellbien's works best for me) before applying. For severely compromised skin, finishing with an oil or horse oil cream provides extra nourishment and moisture.
